This paper describes the status of water prevention and control technology for water-rich metallic deposit in China,discusses three common water prevention and control methods,namely,dewatering and drainage,curtain grouting from the mine ground and borehole curtain grouting near ore body,and points out that curtain grouting is the developmental direction of water prevention and control for water-rich metallic deposit,and borehole curtain grouting near ore body will be more applied in future.
