      松桃道坨锰矿为2010年以钻探工程验证方式发现的一个全隐伏超大型锰矿床,其含矿地层为南华系大塘坡组第一段黑色炭质页岩,矿体埋深700~1500 m,矿床锰品位平均为18.66%,具有矿区地质构造简单、矿层产状平缓并完全隐伏、沉积成锰盆地保存完好和矿体厚度大、变化小、规模大、矿石品位高、质量稳定的特点。普查阶段提交锰矿资源量8343.25万t备案,位列我国锰矿第二,矿床远景资源储量1亿t以上,并极有可能成为我国最大的一处锰矿床。矿床成因类型为产于南华系大塘坡组下冲黑色岩系中的海相沉积碳酸锰矿床。
英文摘要:
      The Daotuo manganese deposit, which was discovered in 2010 through drilling programme, is a super-large sized and concealed manganese ore deposit. The ore-bearing strata is the black carbonaceous shale of the first member of Datangpo Group in Nanhua System, the manganese ore bodies are located about 700~1500 m below the surface. The average manganese grade is 18.66%. The ore deposit has the characteristics of simple geologic structure, gentle orebody geometry and completely concealed, stored in good condition after depositing in the manganese basin, large thickness of orebody, minor spatial variation, and large tonnage, high ore grade and stable ore composition. The estimated deposit resource tonnage is 83,2,500 tons of manganese ore submitted during the general exploration stage, which currently ranks as the second largest manganese deposit in China. The potential resource tonnage of the Songtao manganese deposit reaches over 100 million tons, and is very likely to become China’s largest manganese deposit. The deposit genesis belongs to the marine sedimentary manganese deposit which was formed in the black carbonaceous rock in the Datangpo Group of Nanhua System.
