摘    要:提出了一种利用环形金属结构实现低雷达散射截面(Radar Cross Section, RCS)的微带贴片天线.该结构由几个金属同心环排布而成.对典型的微带天线, 通过在辐射贴片周围加载该环形结构, 天线可以实现明显的宽带RCS减缩效果.实验结果表明:与参考天线相比, 对于X极化垂直入射波以及Y极化垂直入射波在6~25 GHz范围内都有减缩效果, 天线在12.8 GHz时可以达到30 dB的减缩量, 同时天线的辐射特性得到保持.

Radar cross-section reduction of a microstrip antenna using annulus metallic material

Abstract:Annulus metallic material (AMM) is used in microstrip antenna to achieve low radar cross section(RCS) property in a wide frequency band.The structure is composed of several concentric annuluses.By placing the metallic annuluses around the radiation patch of the reference microstrip antenna,wideband monostatic RCS reduction is achieved.The results indicate that the proposed antenna possesses obvious RCS reduction from 6 GHz to 25 GHz for both x-and y-polarized vertically incident waves.The maximum reduction is achieved at 12.8 GHz for as much as 30 dB and the radiation performance of the antenna is well preserved.
