| Abstract: | Taking account of the special features of marine boilers, this paper has discussed the effectiveness of high-temperature radiation heat transfer in a boiler furnace. The author has found that under certain conditions there exists a possible weight reduction of heating surfaces even with an increase in boiler furnace volume. |
