摘    要:边缘效应是复合材料液体模塑成型技术(Liquid composites molding , LCM) 中常见的纤维预成型体铺敷缺陷之一。采用单向流动法研究了边缘效应对纤维预成型体渗透率及充模过程的影响, 结合其等效渗透率的理论预测模型对不同纤维体积含量、不同缝隙宽度条件下的边缘效应进行了模拟与分析, 提出了一边缘效应强弱的表征因子, 并以一较复杂的模腔的充模过程为实例提出了对边缘效应的在线监控策略及处理方案。

Abstract:Edge effect is one of the common draping defects of a fiber preform in liquid composite molding (LCM) processes. The unidirectional flow method was adopted to study the influences of the edge effect on the preform permeability and the mold filling. Based on the theoretic model of equivalent permeability, the edge effects under the conditions of different fiber contents and gap widths were simulated and analyzed. A characterization factor for the strength of the edge effect was also proposed. Furthermore, the on-line strategic control and measurement for edge effects were described taking the mold filling in a complex mold cavity for a case.
