Abstract: | As more and more targets need to be monitored in smart substations, the load on wireless sensor networks is also increasing. This article proposes a data grading based transmission scheme. Firstly, the collected data on the data collection nodes are prioritized by using the edge computing strategy into three categories: normal, suspicious, and dangerous based on their importance. Then, different transmission strategies are adopted for the data according to their priority. In particular, a cooperative mechanism is designed to reduce the network waiting time for suspicious data by combining the network polling mechanism. Finally, the network load was analyzed to an extent. The proposed method can greatly reduce network load and improve overall network performance. The experimental results verify the effectiveness of the proposed method and can solve the problem of excessive load on wireless sensor networks in smart substations. |
