| Abstract: | This paper studies the connection between the structural properties and feedback control
of a generalized system. It does not decompose the system into exponential and impulsive
mode parts as usual. By simple elementary operations, a standard form for the generalized
system is obtained, which largely simplifies system analysis and design. Based upon the standard
form, a pole placement method for the generalized system is derived. |
