| Abstract: | This paper firstly presents the development of data standards in the AEC industries and the definition of BIM data storage standards. Secondly, the research status, composition and functions of BIM data integrated system are elaborated together with the advantages and disadvantages of current BIM model servers. Several relevant projects with BIM model servers are introduced. Finally, the prospect of data storage and integrated management of BIM is proposed. |
