| Abstract: | In this paper, the definition of wavelet transform was described and its properties were demonstrated. From this definition voice transform was derived. The formula for inverse voice transform was shown in the appendix. We also discuss the philosophy and methodology of applying the wavelet transform to various 1-D filtering. The applied examples on either synthetic and field seismic data demonstrate the feasibility of the method. |
