摘    要:在实际匹配人脸合成画像与照片时,待匹配的照片库是非常庞大的,现有的匹配方法都非常耗时。提出一种基于面部组件码(FCC)表的人脸照片库缩减方法。该方法分为2个阶段:在第1阶段,创建一个面部组件码表库。其中,使用梯度位置方向直方图(GLOH)来描述人脸合成画像的不变特征。在第2阶段,构建缩小后的照片库。本阶段使用待匹配的人脸合成画像的6个面部组件码在FCC表库中检索,将符合条件的FCC表对应的照片来构建缩小后的照片库。方法使用人脸合成画像软件(FACES EDU 4.0)在包含1 119张照片的照片库上进行了实验。实验结果表明:该方法将照片库缩减为原库大小的55.85%,保留目标照片的概率为95.16%。

Abstract:In real applications of matching facial composite sketches to photos, the mugshot database to be matched is very huge, so, with the existing matching methods the matching process is very time consuming. In this paper, we present a fast facial component code (FCC) table based method for narrowing down the mugshot database. The proposed method has two phases: in the first phase, a FCC table database is established, in which the gradient location and orientation histogram (GLOH) is used to describe the invariant features of the facial composite sketch. In the second phase, a narrowed mugshot database is constructed, in which 6 facial component codes of the facial composite sketch to be matched are used to retrieve the FCC table database, and the photos corresponding to the qualified FCC tables are used to construct the narrowed mugshot database. Experiments were conducted using the facial composite software kit (FACES EDU 4.0) on the mugshot database with 1 119 photos. Experiment results show that the method can narrow down the mugshot database to 55.85% of the original size and the narrowed mugshot database has the probability of 95.16% for retaining the target photo.
