The authors report on the results of a field study that sought to determine the impact of two forms of user involvement, namely, user participation and user leadership, during systems development. This study sought to determine the impact of two situational factors on the effects of user participation and user leadership. Neither user participation nor user leadership was found to be related to user information satisfaction (UIS). Both forms of user involvement, however, were found to have a more positive relationship with UIS under certain circumstances. User participation was more positively related to UIS when use of the system was for decision support and when users were at higher levels in the organization. User participation is defined as the extent to which users or their representatives carry out assignments and perform various activities and behaviors during the system development process. This work has identified three dimensions of user participation: responsibility, the user-IS (information system) relationship and hands-on activity. However, this 3D view of user participation does not capture an important aspect of participation: the communication between users and with various stakeholders. This paper replicates and extends past research by proposing the addition of a fourth dimension: communication activity. Data collected from 324 users drawn from 162 IS development teams were used to replicate our three dimensions and to examine evidence for the construct validity of the new dimension. 开源软件已广泛应用于各软件领域,例如操作系统、容器等,但目前尚没有一种能够综合度量开源软件的方法.我们在用户兴趣度量和开发参与度量的基础上,提出了一种能够克服度量维度单一的局限性的度量方法.基于DM模型、软件生存力模型等相关文献研究和开源软件存储库数据挖掘,通过对项目过程数据进行聚类、主成分分析、回归分析和对开发过程的思考,本文提出一种基于存储库数据和统计学算法的开源软件成功度度量模型.并通过与用户兴趣度量结果和开发参与度量结果对比分析,证明本文的度量模型能够基于可自动无扰采集的存储库数据,更全面的衡量开源软件项目的成功.度量模型可应用于企业选择优质开源项目、学术研究、智能项目推荐等领域.  相似文献

本文在自主开发的DAB接收机的基础上,提出一种通过USB接口实现接收机设备固件升级(DFU)的方法。当产品投入市场后可能会存在不足之处,通过DFU能达到对产品软件进行优化和修补的目的,也可为产品增加更多更新的功能,让用户获得更好的使用体验。经测试表明,本文提出的方法能可靠的对接收机产品进行固件升级。  相似文献

This work investigates the impact of nine new product development (NPD) acceleration approaches (supplier involvement, lead user involvement, speeding up activities and tasks, reduction of parts and components, training and rewarding of employees, implementation of support systems and techniques, stimulating interfunctional cooperation, emphasis on the customer, and simplification of organizational structure) on development speed and new product profitability. Our findings from 233 manufacturing firms show that lead user involvement and training/rewarding of employees increase both development speed and profitability. Supplier involvement, speeding up activities and tasks, and a simplification of the organizational structure also enhance development speed, while an emphasis on the customer has an additional positive impact on new product profitability. Both new product speed and profitability increase firm financial performance. Our results further show that pioneers and fast followers should not select the same NPD acceleration approaches as the speed and profitability impact of the majority of the acceleration approaches depends on the new product strategy of the firm. These results are important as they provide guidance for pioneers and fast followers regarding which NPD acceleration approaches to select in order to enhance speed and profitability and, hence, firm financial performance.  相似文献

Nowadays, numerous incentive mechanisms of mobile crowdsensing have been designed to attract extensive user participation, but most of these mechanisms focus only on independent task scenarios, where the sensing tasks are independent of each other. On the contrary, we focus on a periodical task scenario, where each user participates in the same type of sensing tasks periodically. In this paper, we consider the long‐term user participation incentive in a general periodical mobile crowdsensing system from a frugality payment perspective. We explore the issue under both semi‐online (the intraperiod interactive process is synchronous while the interperiod interactive process is sequential and asynchronous during each period) and online user arrival models (the previous 2 interactive processes are sequential and asynchronous). In particular, we first propose a semi‐online frugal incentive mechanism by introducing a Lyapunov method. Moreover, we also extend it to an online frugal incentive mechanism, which satisfies the long‐term participation constraint and approximate optimality. Finally, extensive simulations show that our mechanisms satisfy the above theoretical properties.  相似文献
