随着信息社会的到来和电子政务在我国的普及,信息系统的建设成为当今一个十分重要的研究课题.如何提高档案管理的效率和档案信息的利用率,是档案管理机构所面临的一个重要任务.在分析图形式档案录入系统功能的基础上,采用浏览器/服务器的设计模式,使用动态网页设计技术,对图形式档案录入系统进行了设计和开发,给出了系统数据库中各数据表的设计结果和图形式档案录入系统部分录入界面及其ASP源代码,达到了图形式档案录入系统设计和开发的目的和要求.  相似文献

在数据库应用开发中,统计图控件能够将数据以图形的方式表现出来,微软提供了一些基本控件,但目前大部分统计图控件生成的统计图是静态的。本设计使用Visual C 6.0实现了一个动态统计图控件,其功能是从数据库中读出数据,经过处理,最终以动态图的形式表现出来,解决了统计图的动态显示问题。  相似文献

Technical communication textbooks tend to address visual rhetoric as two separate units, usually a chapter on document design and then a chapter on graphics. We advocate teaching a unified system of visual rhetoric that encompasses both text and graphics within a common visual-language system. Using C. S. Peirce's three-part theory of rhetoric and his ten categories of sign, we offer an integrated semiotic system, interpreting in one model the effectiveness of graphics, document design, and formatting, all considered as subtypes in this proposed visual rhetoric, organized around three primary communication goals: to decorate, to indicate, and to inform. Thus, any evaluation of visuals, either textual or graphic, must be made with reference to rhetorical contexts in which audience needs and graphic/textual media choices should align with authorial goals  相似文献

The University of Maryland's Computer Aided Life Cycle Engineering (CALCE) research effort is aimed at developing techniques for design, analysis, prediction, and optimization of electronics with respect to a variety of design goals. Performance, producibility, reliability, maintainability, life-cycle cost, safety, etc., are the design criteria which are being integrated through the application of interactive heuristic and algorithmic design optimization techniques. The University of Maryland Reliability and Maintainability Computer-Aided Design (RAMCAD) research is CALCE and is focused on second- and third-level electronic package design with respect to interfacing thermal, mechanical, and reliability analysis. The goal is to make reliability and maintainability an integral, real-time, and upfront part of the design process, such that the need to resubmit designs will be eliminated. The motivation behind this project was the fact that schedule constraints are often compromising the effectiveness and efficiency of the design process. To achieve the goal of CALCE/RAMCAD, a cohesive and extensible design environment for analysis and tradeoff tools was developed. A system executive controller that integrates tools for analysis while providing system transparency, design data management, and process management was developed to guide the user through the design process and provide direct access to the design tools. These developments required the integration of computer-aided design (CAD), artificial intelligence (AI), and decision support (DS) techniques. Attention to human factors and the use of interactive graphics were also instrumental in the development.  相似文献

This tutorial paper reviews the theory and design of codes for hiding or embedding information in signals such as images, video, audio, graphics,and text. Such codes have also been called watermarking codes; they can be used in a variety of applications, including copyright protection for digital media, content authentication, media forensics, data binding, and covert communications. Some of these applications imply the presence of an adversary attempting to disrupt the transmission of information to the receiver; other applications involve a noisy, generally unknown, communication channel. Our focus is on the mathematical models, fundamental principles, and code design techniques that are applicable to data hiding. The approach draws from basic concepts in information theory, coding theory, game theory, and signal processing,and is illustrated with applications to the problem of hiding data in images.  相似文献

Computer graphics applications, software, and hard-ware research, are examined and evaluated in Continental Western Europe. Growth has been slow. The reasons are the high cost of hardware and the complexity of the required software. The past reveals a rather dim picture. Mechanical engineering applications have shown some promising success. Electrical engineering applications have been effective mainly for PCB and IC mask layout only. Interactive graphic software has not yet effectively found its way outside Fortran. APL-G seems an interesting graphic extension of the language APL. Promsing trends appear to be on the horizon. They are related to hardware and software tradeoffs, as, for example, in the TALENT System. The need for computer graphics still exists. The hardware and software tradeoffs will receive more attention. Success in computer graphics will depend upon advances in computer systems design, especially programming languages and systems. In one abstract view, computer graphics deals with building computer models or representations and then displaying them by some method or theory to produce a high-quality image. Computer vision is a dual to computer graphics. It starts with an image or animation and deduces the model representation for the computer. Computer graphics goes down from model to image, and computer vision goes up from image to model. This is, of course, a simplification, but it serves as a good basis to understand recent developments intersecting the two fields. Computer graphics and computer vision are truly complementary disciplines quickly approaching convergence. The broad study of computer-based imagery extends beyond these two fields to include the areas of human-computer interaction, visualization and image processing. Ongoing research and development will continue to forge this bond, and we'll begin to see real-world products emerge from these efforts. Then we will see the fruits of this convergence  相似文献

Emulation of natural photosynthesis is central to modern photovoltaic research targeting sustainable and economic ways of solar energy harvesting. Natural photosynthetic systems have succeeded in efficiently harvesting solar energy which is key to the sustenance of life on earth. With numerous advances in understanding the structure and function of the natural photosystems, the last decade has witnessed new perspectives in developing bioinspired photovoltaics. Interestingly, organic photovoltaics (OPVs) adopting photosynthetic design principles and biophotovoltaics (BPVs) adopting solid‐state device architectures have now converged at a juncture. Several reports in recent years point to a new scope of improvement in OPVs and BPVs stemming from mutual inspiration. At this juncture, there are new perspectives by which a BPV can be designed that were previously limited only to conventional optoelectronics. Treating natural pigment–proteins as optically and electronically functional materials in any photovoltaic design, from the band‐theory viewpoint, is a promising direction for advancing BPVs beyond the boundaries of bioelectrochemistry. This article presents an overview of selected reports on BPVs in the last few years utilizing new design concepts based on band‐theory and its associated principles. In light of this, the scope of the band‐structure approach in BPVs is discussed, eliciting prospective research directions.  相似文献

The key role played by computer graphics in urban, regional, and environmental information systems is surveyed by reference to specific examples. While the interactive cathode-ray tube terminal is found to be the most valuable medium, other output devices such as printers and plotters are discussed as well. Elements of computer cartography and data base organization are introduced, followed by discussions of urban information and transportation network design systems, a regional analysis system, and air and water quality information systems. Specific recommendations are given for further research in data base design and display techniques, and for promising new hardware for use in geographically distributed data systems.  相似文献
