This paper proposes an optimal design procedure for a green building equipped with renewable energy, energy storages, and proton exchange membrane fuel cells (PEMFCs). First, we introduce the hybrid power system of the green building and construct a simulation model using Matlab/SimPowerSystem?. The model parameters are tuned so that the system responses can be estimated without extensive experiments in the optimization processes. Second, we define the cost and reliability indexes to optimize the system design using three steps: component selection, component sizing, and power management (PM) adjustment. We further define the safety index to evaluate the system's sustainability under extreme conditions when no renewable energy is available. Last, we apply the proposed procedures to the green building and demonstrate the benefits of the optimal design. The proposed method can be directly applied to develop customized hybrid power systems in the future.  相似文献

In the current century, climate change, air pollution, and the depletion of energy resources are big threats to our society, especially in urban areas. It is an inevitable fact that we need to develop the green building concept and produce innovative solutions in our quest to design structures that are compatible with nature, sustainable, environmentally friendly, aesthetic and use natural resources efficiently. Roofs are the most efficient and promising building surfaces for the combination of photovoltaic panel applications and green roofs considering their locations and inclination angles. This research focuses on how carbon emission can be reduced via both green roofs and solar energy while producing electricity in OSTIM, one of Turkey's most prominent industrial zones located in the capital. The long-term detailed analysis of photovoltaic-green roof application in terms of economics and carbon emission is discussed. Although the rooftop option of a combination of solar panels and a green roof design costs higher than a standard photovoltaic system, it opens up new prospects for urban lighting in smart cities with exciting aesthetic effects. This combination of two sustainable features can become a model of green technology and opens up a wide range of research applications.  相似文献

通过对我国房地产企业开发绿色建筑的现状和问题的调研,发现目前我国房地产企业对绿色建筑的认识程度明显不同,开发进程也参差不齐.进一步分析后发现,市场需求和增量成本是影响开发决策的最主要因素,购房者不认同和成本增加是开发中面临的主要障碍,土地、融资、税收优惠是企业最期望的激励政策.在供应端和需求端实施双向激励,强制执行绿色建筑评价标准的,将绿色建筑开发纳入国有房地产企业负责人业绩考核,加强绿色建筑发展相关支撑能力建设,则是现阶段实施绿色建筑的可行措施.  相似文献

Based on background and status overview of green building standards, problems are analyzed. It is followed by a systemic scheme for green building standard system, which includes 3 layers of basic, general and specialized standards, and its development planning as well. The green buildings of Shanghai Research Institute of Building Science include an office building for the demonstration of public building and two residential buildings, which are for the demonstration of flat and villa, respectively. Here, a solar-powered integrated energy system including heating, air-conditioning, natural ventilation and hot water supply was designed and constructed for the office building. However, only solar hot-water systems were installed for the flat and villa. All the three solar thermal systems have continuously run for 2 years. Two different integrated approaches have been put into practice in the two green residential buildings. It is shown that, for new buildings, solar collectors can be mounted on balconies and awnings besides roofs, on condition that solar systems become part of the general building design. The solar-powered integrated energy system has the advantage of high utilization ratio with different functions according to different seasons. It is testified to be capable of taking on about 70% of the yearly building load regarding the involved space under the weather condition of Shanghai.  相似文献

Advancement in genetic algorithm (GA) optimization tools for design applications, coupled with techniques of soft computing, have led to new possibilities in the way computers interact with the optimization process. In this paper, the concept of goal-oriented GA has been used to design a tool for evaluating and optimizing various aspects of earth-to-air heat exchanger behavior. A new optimization method based on GA is applied as a generative and search procedure to optimize the design of earth-to-air heat exchanger. The GA is used to generate possible design solutions, which are evaluated in terms of passive heating and cooling of building, using a detailed thermal analysis of non air-condition building environment The results from the simulations are subsequently used to further guide the GA search to find the high-energy solutions for optimized design parameters. The specific problem addressed in this study is the sizing of earth-to-air heat exchanger in a non air-conditioned residential building. The developed algorithm is suitable for the calculation of the outlet air temperature and therefore of the heating and cooling potential of the earth-to-air heat exchanger system. This methodology is applicable to a wide range of design optimization problems like choice of building such as green house, solar house, or heating and cooling of buildings by mechanical system.  相似文献

Providing adequate natural ventilation would reduce the building cooling load in tropical areas. This is regarded as a design moving towards ‘green’ or ‘sustainable’ building. Driving forces for natural ventilation in those hot and humid countries are basically wind-induced actions. This effect depends on the surrounding environment in a dense urban area, where buildings are closely built together. For a building located next to a vertical wall or a taller building, turbulent effects due to incident wind fields would be important. In this paper, the wind-induced indoor air flow in a building adjacent to a vertical wall is studied by Computational Fluid Dynamics under different ventilation conditions. Results are useful not only for providing better ventilation, but also for working out a fire-action plan in case of accidents.  相似文献
