Head Boundedness of Nonterminating Rewritings

Further research about nonterminating rewritings is introduced.First,the previous definition of head boundedness is modified to exclude non-fair reduction sequences.A sufficient condition is then given to determine head boundedness of term rewriting systems.The condition is then developed to a method to determine head boundedness of constructor systems.     

Nonterminating Rewritings with Head Boundedness

We define here the concept of head boundedness,head normal form and head confluence of term rewriting systems that allow infinite derivation.Head confluence iw weaker than confluence,but sufficient to guarantee the correctness of lazy implementations of equational logic programming languages.Then we prove several results.First,if a left-linear system is locally confluent and head-bounded.then it is head-confluent.Second,head-confluent and head-bounded systems have the heau Church-Rosser property.Last,if an orthogonal system is head-terminating,then it is head-bounded.These results can be applied to generalize equational logic programming languages.

Head Tracking Using Shapes and Adaptive Color Histograms

A new method is presented for tracking a person‘s head in real-time.The head is shaped as an ellipse,and adaptively modified RGB color histogram is used to represent the tracked object (head).The method is composed of two parts.First,a robust nonparametric technique,called mean shift algorithm,is adopted for histogram matching to estimate the head‘s location in the current frame.Second,a local search is performed after histogram matching to maximize the normalized gradient magnitude around the boundary of the elliptical head.so that a more accurate location and the best scale size of the head can be obtained.The method is demonstrated to be a real-time tracker and robust to clutter,scale variation,occlusion,rotation and camera motion,for several test sequences.     

First Order Stålmarck

We present a proof method with a novel way of introducing universal lemmas. The method is a first order extension of Stålmarck’s method, containing a branch-and-merge rule known as the dilemma rule. The dilemma rule creates two branches in a tableau-like way, but later recombines the two branches, keeping the common consequences. While the propositional version uses normal set intersection in the merges, the first order version searches for pairwise unifiable formulae in the two branches. Within branches, the system uses a special kind of variables that may not be substituted. At branch merges, these variables are replaced by universal variables, and in this way universal lemmas can be introduced. Relevant splitting formulae are found through failed unifications of variables in branches. This article presents the calculus and proof procedure, and shows soundness and completeness. Benchmarks of an implementation are also presented.

基于CNN‐Head Transformer编码器的中文命名实体识别

基于多头自注意力机制的Transformer作为主流特征提取器在多种自然语言处理任务中取得了优异表现,但应用于命名实体识别任务时存在一字多词、增加额外存储与词典匹配时间等问题。提出一种CNN-Head Transformer编码器（CHTE）模型,在未使用外部词典和分词工具的基础上,通过自注意力机制捕获全局语义信息,利用不同窗口大小的CNN获取Transformer中6个注意力头的Value向量,使CHTE模型在保留全局语义信息的同时增强局部特征和潜在词信息表示,并且应用自适应的门控残差连接融合当前层和子层特征,提升了Transformer在命名实体识别领域的性能表现。在Weibo和Resume数据集上的实验结果表明,CHTE模型的F1值相比于融合词典信息的Lattice LSTM和FLAT模型分别提升了3.77、2.24和1.30、0.31个百分点,具有更高的中文命名实体识别准确性。
