Decentralized delay‐dependent local stability and resilient feedback stabilization methods are developed for a class of linear interconnected continuous‐time systems. The subsystems are time‐delay plants which are subjected to convex‐bounded parametric uncertainties and additive feedback gain perturbations while allowing time‐varying delays to occur within the local subsystems and across the interconnections. The delay‐dependent local stability conditions are established at the subsystem level through the construction of appropriate Lyapunov–Krasovskii functional. We characterize decentralized linear matrix inequalities (LMIs)‐based delay‐dependent stability conditions by deploying an injection procedure such that every local subsystem is delay‐dependent robustly asymptotically stable with an γ‐level ??2‐gain. Resilient decentralized state‐feedback stabilization schemes are designed, which takes into account additive gain perturbations such that the family of closed‐loop feedback subsystems enjoys the delay‐dependent asymptotic stability with a prescribed γ‐level ??2‐gain for each subsystem. The decentralized feedback gains are determined by convex optimization over LMIs. All the developed results are tested on representative examples. Copyright © 2010 John Wiley & Sons, Ltd.  相似文献

This paper considers a delay‐dependent and parameter‐dependent robust stability criterion for stochastic time‐delay systems with polytopic uncertainties. The delay‐dependent robust stability criterion, as expressed in terms of linear matrix inequalities (LMIs), is obtained by using parameter‐dependent Lyapunov functions. It is shown that the result derived by a parameter‐dependent Lyapunov functional is less conservative. Numerical examples are provided to illustrate the effectiveness of the proposed method. This paper is concerned with the neutral‐delay‐dependent and discrete‐delay‐dependent stability for uncertain neutral systems with mixed delays and norm‐bounded uncertainties. Through constructing a new augmented Lyapunov‐Krasovskii functional and proving its positive definiteness, introducing some slack matrices and using integral inequality, the improved delay‐dependent stability criteria are derived in terms of linear matrix inequalities. Numerical examples are given to illustrate the significant improvement on the conservatism of the delay bound over some existing results. The robust stability and robust stabilization for time‐delay discrete singular systems with parameter uncertainties is discussed. A delay‐dependent linear matrix inequality (LMI) condition for the time‐delay discrete systems to be nonsingular and stable is given. Based on this condition and the restricted system equivalent transformation, the delay‐dependent LMI condition is proposed for the time‐delay discrete singular systems to be admissible. With this condition, the problems of robust stability and robust stabilization are solved, and the delay‐dependent LMI conditions are obtained. Numerical examples illustrate the effectiveness of the method given in the paper. Copyright © 2009 John Wiley and Sons Asia Pte Ltd and Chinese Automatic Control Society  相似文献

This paper presents several new robust stability conditions for linear discrete‐time systems with polytopic parameter uncertainties and time‐varying delay in the state. These stability criteria, derived by defining parameter‐dependent Lyapunov functions, are not only dependent on the maximum and minimum delay bounds, but also dependent on uncertain parameters in the sense that different Lyapunov functions are used for the entire uncertainty domain. It is established, theoretically, that these robust stability criteria for the nominal and constant‐delay case encompass some existing result as their special case. The delay‐dependent and parameter‐dependent nature of these results guarantees the proposed robust stability criteria to be potentially less conservative.  相似文献

This paper is concerned with delay‐dependent stability for linear systems with time‐varying delays. By decomposing the delay interval into multiple equidistant subintervals, on which different Lyapunov functionals are chosen, and new Lyapunov‐Krasvskii functionals are then constructed. Employing these new Lyapunov‐Krasvskii functionals, some new delay‐dependent stability criteria are established. The numerical examples show that the obtained results are less conservative than some existing ones in the literature. Copyright © 2009 John Wiley & Sons, Ltd.  相似文献

This paper deals with the problem of obtaining delay‐dependent stability conditions and L2‐gain analysis for a class of nonlinear time‐delay systems with norm‐bounded and possibly time‐varying uncertainties. No restrictions on the derivative of the time‐varying delay are imposed, though lower and upper bounds of the delay interval are assumed to be known. A Lyapunov–Krasovskii functional approach is proposed to derive novel delay‐dependent stability conditions which are expressed in terms of linear matrix inequalities (LMIs). To reduce conservatism, the work exploits the idea of splitting the delay interval in multiple regions, so that specific conditions can be imposed to a unique functional in the different regions. This improves the computed bounds for certain delay‐dependent integral terms, providing less conservative LMI conditions. Examples are provided to demonstrate the reduced conservatism with respect to the available results in the literature. Copyright © 2010 John Wiley & Sons, Ltd.  相似文献

This paper concerns delay‐range‐dependent robust stability and stabilization for time‐delay system with linear fractional form uncertainty. The time delay is assumed to be a time‐varying continuous function belonging to a given range. On the basis of a novel Lyapunov–Krasovskii functional, which includes the information of the range, delay‐range‐dependent stability criteria are established in terms of linear matrix inequality. It is shown that the new criteria can provide less conservative results than some existing ones. Moreover, the stability criteria are also used to design the stabilizing state‐feedback controllers. Numerical examples are given to demonstrate the applicability of the proposed approach. Copyright © 2007 John Wiley & Sons, Ltd.  相似文献

This paper is concerned with the delay‐dependent stability and robust stability for uncertain systems with time‐varying delay. This paper presents a new insight into the delay‐dependent stability for time‐delay systems. Because of the key observation that the positive definiteness of a chosen Lyapunov–Krasovskii functional does not necessarily require all the involved symmetric matrices in the Lyapunov–Krasovskii functional to be positive definite, an improved delay‐dependent asymptotic stability condition is presented in terms of a set of LMIs. This fact has been overlooked in the development of previous stability results. The importance of the present method is that a vast number of existing delay‐dependent results on analysis and synthesis of time‐delay systems derived by the Lyapunov–Krasovskii stability theorem can be improved by using this observation without introducing additional variables. The reduction of conservatism of the proposed result is both theoretically and numerically demonstrated. It is believed that the proposed method provides a new direction to improve delay‐dependent results on time‐delay systems. Copyright © 2013 John Wiley & Sons, Ltd.  相似文献

In this paper, new sufficient stability conditions for the asymptotic stability of time‐delay systems are presented using the quadratic separation approach. The time‐delay system is modeled as an interconnected closed‐loop system involving a linear transformation and delay‐dependent functions, representing the uncertainties brought by the delay. Those complex‐valued functions are then embedded into adequate norm‐bounded uncertainties, which lead to several stability results. The novelty of this approach relies on the introduction of new dedicated functions that are built in accordance to the Bessel inequality. They allow us to model the system as an uncertain feedback system and to control the accuracy of the inequality. Then, a sequence of linear matrix inequality conditions is proposed, which tends to the analytical bounds for both delay‐dependent stability and delay range stability, at least on examples.  相似文献

In this paper, the problems of delay‐dependent robust stability analysis, robust stabilization and robust H control are investigated for uncertain discrete‐time singular systems with state delay. First, by making use of the delay partitioning technique, a new delay‐dependent criterion is given to ensure the nominal system to be regular, causal and stable. This new criterion is further extended to singular systems with both delay and parameter uncertainties. Then, without the assumption that the considered systems being regular and causal, robust controllers are designed for discrete‐time singular time‐delay systems such that the closed‐loop systems have the characteristics of regularity, causality and asymptotic stability. Moreover, the problem of robust H control is solved following a similar line. The obtained results are dependent not only on the delay, but also on the partitioning size and the conservatism is non‐increasing with reducing partitioning size. These results are shown, via extensive numerical examples, to be much less conservative than the existing results in the literature. Copyright © 2010 John Wiley & Sons, Ltd.  相似文献

In this paper, the problems of robust delay‐dependent stability analysis and stabilization are investigated for distributed delay systems with linear fractional uncertainties. By introducing an integral partitioning technique, a new form of Lyapunov functional is constructed and improved distributed delay‐dependent stability conditions are established in terms of linear matrix inequalities. Based on the criterion, a design algorithm for a state‐feedback controller is proposed. Following similar lines, we extend these results to uncertain distributed delay systems. The results developed in this paper can tolerate larger allowable delay than existing ones in the literature, which is illustrated by several examples. This paper deals with the problem of robust stability analysis for uncertain neutral systems. In terms of a linear matrix inequality (LMI), an improved delay‐dependent asymptotic stability criterion is developed without using bounding techniques on the related cross product terms. Based on this, a new delay‐dependent LMI condition for robust stability is obtained. Numerical examples are provided to show that the proposed results significantly improve the allowed upper bounds of the delay size over some existing ones in the literature. A feedback stabilization problem is investigated for a class of imperfectly known implicit systems with discrete and distributed delays. The imperfections acting on the systems, which may be time‐, state‐, delayed state‐, and/or input‐dependent, are modelled as additive nonlinear perturbations influencing a known set of nonlinear functional differential equations of the neutral type. Sufficient conditions, which include a delay‐dependent matrix inequality and a delay‐dependent stability criterion involving some bounding parameters for the uncertainty in the system, are presented and a class of robust feedback stabilizers, including both memoryless and those with memory, are designed to guarantee a prescribed stability property for the class of implicit systems. In this article, we are interested in analysing the stability of systems that incorporate time‐varying delays in their dynamic. The Lyapunov‐Krasovskii approach is definitely the most popular method to address this issue and many results have proposed new functionals and enhanced techniques for deriving less conservative stability conditions. In the present work, we propose an original approach: the quadratic separation. To this end, the delay operator properties are exploited to provide delay range stability conditions. In particular, L2‐norm of delay‐dependent operators are computed so as to reduce the conservatism of the approach. Moreover, the main result is able to assess the stability of non‐small delay systems, i.e, it can detect a stability interval for systems that are unstable without any delay. Several examples illustrate the benefit of our methodology.  相似文献

A sliding mode controller is developed for uncertain time‐delay systems with a class of nonlinear inputs. Two main results are derived in this paper. The first result is the presentation of a new delay‐dependent stability condition of uncertain time‐delay systems. In a comparison example, this stability condition is shown to be less conservative than the ones reported recently. The second result is to present a new sliding mode control for uncertain time‐delay systems subjected to a class of nonlinear inputs. The stability of time‐delay systems with unmatching condition in the sliding mode is also discussed. Two illustrative examples are included to demonstrate the superiority of the obtained results. The problem of delay‐dependent robust stabilization for uncertain singular discrete‐time systems with Markovian jumping parameters and time‐varying delay is investigated. In terms of free‐weighting‐matrix approach and linear matrix inequalities, a delay‐dependent condition is presented to ensure a singular discrete‐time system to be regular, causal and stochastically stable based on which the stability analysis and robust stabilization problem are studied. An explicit expression for the desired state‐feedback controller is also given. Some numerical examples are provided to demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed approach. In this paper, the problem of robust sampled‐data control for Itô stochastic Markovian jump systems (Itô SMJSs) with state delay is investigated. Using parameters‐dependent Lyapunov functionals and some stochastic equations, we give stochastic sufficient stability criteria for polytopic uncertain Itô SMJSs. As a corollary, stochastic sufficient stability criteria are given for nominal Itô SMJSs. For this two cases of Itô SMJSs, based on the obtained stochastic stability criteria, their time‐independent sampled‐data controllers are designed, respectively. Then, for designing a time‐dependent sampled‐data controller for Itô SMJSs, a parameters‐dependent time‐scheduled Lyapunov functional is developed. New stochastic sufficient stability criteria are obtained for polytopic uncertain Itô SMJSs and nominal Itô SMJSs. Furthermore, their time‐dependent sampled‐data controllers are designed, respectively. Lastly, a numerical example is provided to illustrate the effectiveness of the proposed method.  相似文献

The delay‐dependent stability problem of linear continuous/discrete systems with time‐varying delay is investigated based on a piecewise analysis method (PAM). In the method, the variation interval of the time delay is firstly divided into several subintervals. By checking the variation of the Lyapunov functional in every subinterval, some new delay‐dependent stability criteria are derived. Several numerical examples show that our method can lead to much less conservative results than those in the existing references. Moreover, when the number of the divided subintervals increases, the corresponding criteria can provide an improvement on the results. Copyright © 2008 John Wiley & Sons, Ltd.  相似文献
