The pipelines used in a ship amount to tens of thousands of metres per ship, and so automatic welding of the pipelines has been widely applied from the viewpoint of saving labour. In most cases the automatic welding process has been used for the welding of butt-joints which can be applied to the pipes in rotary motion, and it has also been used for fillet-welding of the connection between flange and piping. In the butt-welding of fixed pipings, automatic welding processes are now being partly used for position welding but up to the present time automatic welding has seldom been applied to the various types of branch pipe joints in which the welded lines form three-dimensional curves.In recent years, great progress has been made in the technique of constructing steel pipe structures and in the development of practical gas cutting processes to prepare the curves needed for the various welded joints used in piping. This paper deals with various conditions and performance requirements needed for automatic welding, such as the selection of shapes of prepared edges of pipings to be welded, the control of welding positions, the control of welding torches in operation, and the solution and control of other production variables.  相似文献

Recent experiments on automatic welding of pipeline in Japan have been based on the short-arc welding process and aimed at reducing the welding time by v?arying the welding conditions and by effecting improvements to the welding equipment.The short-arc process has been employed increasingly in the actual pipeline installation work, exhibiting a number of advantages such as stabilisation of both the quality of weld and the welding time. However, it has presented various problems, including the difficulty in jointing one elbow with another or with a cut pipe and the applicability to a narrow work site.For automatic welding of large diameter pipes for water and town gas supply, on the other hand, the electro gas process has enjoyed a broadened expanse of application by virtue of its high productivity.Further, the pulsed TIG process by programmed control was applied experimentally and produced successful results in the laying of pipe type cable pipeline.  相似文献

使用埋弧焊(SAW)进行锅炉水冷壁管屏生产时,如何在保证焊接质量的前提下,提高焊接速度是需要解决的技术难点.上海锅炉厂有限公司采用脉冲埋弧焊[1~2]技术,对水冷壁管屏拼接工艺进行了焊接试验和产品试生产.实践证明,脉冲埋弧焊相比常规的直流埋弧焊能提高焊接速度13%~25%,改善水冷壁管屏生产中因速度提高而产生的咬边等成形不良问题,使焊缝质量更加优良,有效地提高了焊接生产率.  相似文献

介绍了BFe30-1-1凝汽器管子与管板一种较实用焊接方法,自熔不填丝全位置脉冲自动钨极氩弧焊焊接方法,以及以白铜BFe30-1-1为管子与管板的凝汽器材料焊接特性.通过对BFe30-1-1管子与管板,在纯氩、氢一氩混合两种不同气体保护条件下的焊接工艺试验,以及在不同气体保护下的焊接工艺参数的选择与优化,结果表明,采用自熔不填丝全位置脉冲氩弧焊焊接方法,在氢-氩混合气体保护条件下,BFe30-1-1凝汽器管子与管板焊接,焊缝成型好,质量高;以合理工艺参数匹配焊接的试验件,经各项检验均已合格,完全达到设计要求.  相似文献

This paper addresses the problems involved in the automatic monitoring of the weld quality produced by plasma-arc keyhole welding. The acoustic signal of plasma arc welding was acquired by using a condenser microphone at high speed and analyzed with the aid of computers. It is shown that the overall AC power of the acoustic analysis, especially the low frequency part (0–100 Hz) of the acoustic signal power spectra, greatly varies with the variation of the statuses of the weld pool. A method for detecting the behaviours of the keyhole effect of plasma-arc welding was developed. The experimental results indicate that the method is a usable, practical one in the penetration quality monitoring of plasma-arc welding for on-line quality control.  相似文献
