Problems encountered in the production of low nickel austenitic stainless steel have been studied. These problems primarily include the changes to the microstructure of the slab during the heating process,the formation and removal of deformation- induced martensite during cold rolling,and the effects of the annealing process on the surface oxide structure. Nickel-containing stainless steels have been widely applied in watch and jewelry production,and their responses to the Nickel Directive become a universal concern in the industry.The nickel release rates and corrosion behaviors of types 316 L,304,303 and 201stainless steels under the conditions of solid solution and mirror polishing were studied by artificial sweat soaking and electrochemical methods.The results show that the weekly nickel release rates in artificial sweat do not strictly correspond to the nickel contents,which present a descending order as 303 stainless steel of 2.06μg/cm2,201 stainless steel of 1.51μg/cm2,304 stainless steel of 0.08μg/cm2 and 316 L stainless steel of 0.02μg/cm2.Both the nickel release rates of type 303 and 201stainless steels significantly exceed the threshold values regulated in EN1811∶2011;therefore,they should be avoided to be used as watch and jewelry materials owing to the risk of nickel sensitization.The nickel release rates of 316 Land 304stainless steels meet the requirements of the standard.Sulfide inclusions in stainless steel become the sources of pitting and exacerbate the damage of the passivation membrane,which is the significant cause to enhance the nickel release rates.  相似文献

Different rare earth(RE=La, Ce, Pr, Nd, Sm, Y) and Cu modified nickel catalysts for hydrogen production from methane decomposition were synthesized by a sol-gel process and method. The catalysts were characterized or analyzed through Brumauer-Emmett-Teller(BET), X-ray diffraction(XRD), scanning electron microscopy(SEM), transmission electron microscopy(TEM) techniques. And the hydrogen production performance was also evaluated by a fixed-bed and micro-reaction technique with CH4→C+H2 as a probe reaction. The results showed that rare earth modification had played a great role for nickel catalysts, for example, smaller nickel particles, good thermal stability, high activity, etc. La was the best additive among rare earth modification. The SEM of rare earth modified catalysts showed ordered flower-like structure and rare earth modification made the nickel particles move to the surface of catalysts. In addition, the SEM of nano-carbons was also changed by rare earth modification with long, narrow nano-carbon fibers or tubes obtained. Solid carbon formation was prevented by rare earth modification.  相似文献

The bond strength of electrodeposited nickel from common electroplate liquid and rare-earth electroplate liquid was tested and contrasted. Electrodeposited nickel of high bond strength was obtained by method of electro-plate nickel with one step and special pretreatment on the surface of aluminum-alloy substrate. The bond strength between the aluminum-alloy substrate and the electrodeposited nickel was tested by the method of heat shock. Then the effect on the bond strength of the electrodeposited nickel from rare-earth compound, the thickness of the electrodeposited nickel,temperature and current density were analyzed. The experimental result shows that the bond strength between the aluminum-alloy substrate and the electrodeposited nickel is 26 MPa under the following condition( current density: 0.2 ~ 0.6 A · dm-2, thickness of the nickel electrodeposition: 8 ~ 15 μm, and temperature of the electroplate liquid: 8 ~ 25 ℃ ).  相似文献
