A method to obtain a nano-area electron diffraction pattern in transmission electron microscopy (TEM) was proposed, based on three-dimensional (3D)) image formation theory. This method allows us to reconstruct an electron diffraction pattern from a 3D Fourier spectrum of high-resolution through-focus images. As a test case, an electron diffraction pattern from a tilted Si single crystal was reconstructed using the proposed method and compared with the conventional selected-area electron diffraction pattern. The intensity distribution of the reconstructed electron diffraction pattern was confirmed to be qualitatively equal to that of the selected-area electron diffraction pattern, though the degree of the equivalency between these patterns reduces at the high frequency region and the reproducibility of the intensity degrades when the number of images used in the image processing was decreased. By selecting areas in a reconstructed exit wave field, some electron diffraction patterns were obtained from the nano-areas without the influence of spherical aberration.  相似文献

The radiated power of an electric dipole antenna in a thin, dissipative, infinite conical plasma sheath is analyzed. The electromagnetic fields are represented by contour integrals, and the radiated power is calculated according to the method of Baños et al. The sheath is characterized by a single parameter, which is proportional to the integrated electron density and depends inversely on the electron collision frequency. The radiation pattern is distorted from the form of the free-space dipole pattern because of the interaction between the primary dipole fields and the fields induced on the surface of the plasma sheath. In most cases it is found that for small electron densities, electron collisions attenuate the induced surface fields so that the patterns approach their free-space form. For larger electron densities, the pattern has a characteristic heart shape for zero collision frequency. The pattern increases in magnitude, while retaining the same form, as the collision frequency increases from zero. As the collision frequency is further increased, the pattern approaches the free-space pattern in magnitude and form.  相似文献

The development of information technology not only allows people to contact government more easily, but also provides researchers with new opportunities to investigate the pattern of interaction between citizens and government. Using data spanning eight years from a Chinese nationwide political forum, we examined how citizens’ government contacting behavior relates to a series of theoretically relevant factors such as resources, social problems, and value systems. The data show a substantial increase in online citizen-initiated contacts in China from 2011 to 2018, with vast regional variation. In addition, we find that resources, social problems, and political value play important roles in explaining citizen contact frequency. More specifically, resource is positively associated with the number of citizen contact; high levels of social problem urge people to contact government; and people from provinces with more intense traditional political value are more likely to contact the government.  相似文献

Lateral, uni-directional aggregates of collagen, segment-long-spacing crystallites (SLS), were made by dialyzing collagen solutions against acetic acid containing ATP, and were examined by transmission electron microscopes without electron staining. There detected were at least 20 dark (electron dense) cross-striations within SLS. The banding pattern was compared with the biochemical and biophysical properties of the amino acid side chains along the collagen molecule. The banding pattern of unstained SLS was mostly correlated with the intramolecular distribution of basic amino acid residues. Since basic amino acids have relatively large side chains, the distribution of mass (molecular weight of amino acids) along the molecule (local density profile) partially explained the cross-striation. Addition of fractions of molecular weight of ATP to basic residues made the local density profile much better correlate to the banding pattern. We conclude that the electron microscopic banding pattern of unstained SLS was generated by the local amount of material or local density profile along the collagen aggregates, which was enhanced by ATP bound to positively charged basic residues. The concept that the electron density correlates with the amount of material is fundamental in electron microscopy, and it has been proven with biological materials in this paper.  相似文献

A quantitative laboratory experimental investigation has been conducted on the distortion of the main far-field radiation pattern of a horn antenna situated behind a layer of isotropic plasma. The power radiation pattern and phase for orthogonal components of the radiation transmitted through the plasma were investigated for various plasma properties. The experimental results were compared to theory based on the reciprocity theorem and good agreement was obtained. The major features are a gradual attenuation and distortion of the radiation pattern for plasma electron densities below the critical density and a rapid change in the radiation pattern with severe attenuation in the region of the critical electron density followed by "cut-off" at still larger electron densities. No appreciable polarization change of the energy radiated by the antenna is introduced by the plasma.  相似文献

A plasma column irradiated by an electromagnetic wave which has its electric vector and direction of propagation perpendicular to the axis of the tube exhibits Tonks-Dattner resonances in its absorption pattern when the electron density in the column is varied. The pattern consists of a main resonance and a number of less pronounced subsidiary resonances at currents corresponding to electron densities lower than that of the main peak. 等离子体天线因其具有许多独特的性质而受到广泛关注。利用金属天线的传输线等效理论,研究了等离子体电子密度和碰撞频率对等离子体鞭状天线辐射方向特性的影响,并利用高频仿真软件HFSS对计算方法进行了验证。结果表明,当等离子体电子密度较小、碰撞频率较高时,等离子体鞭状天线与相同物理尺寸的金属天线辐射方向图相差较大;而在较高电子密度和较低碰撞频率条件下,两种天线具有相似的辐射方向图,并且电子密度越大、碰撞频率越低,其与金属天线的辐射方向图越接近。  相似文献
