空时编码(STC)技术将天线阵列信号处理和信道编码技术联合起来实现无线信道容量的有效增加。为了抑制空时分组编码(STBC)系统的共道用户干扰,对低复杂度的多用户检测算法进行研究,该文提出了一种STBC系统的迭代(turbo)多用户接收机。该接收机由一个软入软出(SISO)基于均值的软判决多用户检测器(Soft Decision Multi-User Detector, SDMUD)和一组SISO Turbo信道解码器构成。两者之间通过迭代交换外信息,精确地估计用户信号。仿真结果表明这种接收技术经3次迭代后性能改善约2dB,并且系统性能会随着接收天线的增多而得到明显提高,从而大大增加系统容量。  相似文献

We consider a coded multiple-input multiple-output (MIMO) DS-CDMA system using layered space-time transmission in multipath wireless channels, where space-time signals from multiple antennas of multiple users propagate through rich scattering multipath fading. We propose a receiver employing iterative joint detection and decoding with a reduced-complexity detector using linear minimum mean squared error filtering with a priori information and parallel soft-input soft-output (SISO) decoders. Computer simulation results show that the proposed receiver for multi-user MIMO transmission provides high-spectral efficiency and performance approaching to single-user bound. Furthermore, the reduced-complexity receiver outperforms an iterative soft decision-directed maximal ratio combining (DD-MRC) receiver, RAKE receiver as well as a conventional non-iterative receiver.  相似文献

Space-time coding (STC) techniques, which combine antenna array signal processing and channel coding techniques, are very promising approaches to substantial capacity increase in wireless channels. Multiuser detection techniques are powerful signal processing methodologies for interference suppression in CDMA systems. In this paper, by drawing analogies between a synchronous CDMA system and an STC multiuser system, we study the applications of some multiuser detection methods to STC multiuser systems. Specifically, we show that the so-called “turbo multiuser detection” technique, which performs soft interference cancellation and decoding iteratively, can be applied to STC multiuser systems in flat-fading channels. An iterative multiuser receiver and its projection-based variants are developed for both the space-time block coding (STBC) system and the space-time trellis coding (STTC) system. During iterations, extrinsic information is computed and exchanged between a soft multiuser demodulator and a bank of MAP decoders, to achieve successively refined estimates of the users' signals. Computer simulations demonstrate that the proposed iterative receiver techniques provide significant performance improvement over conventional noniterative methods in both single-user and multiuser STC systems. This paper proposes a new parallel co-channel interference cancellation technique which utilizes orthogonal convolutional codes. Co-channel interference (CCI) limits the performance of a spread spectrum multiple access communication link. Several CCI cancellation techniques have been proposed to remove this interference. Of particular interest are techniques which do not require the receiver to have knowledge of the cross-correlation between user sequences. These techniques reconstruct the CCI based on the initial decisions regarding the signals from the other users. However, these techniques leave residual interference after cancellation caused by errors in these initial decisions. To improve the initial decisions and reduce the residual interference, our proposed scheme utilizes the error correcting capability of orthogonal convolutional codes. This paper evaluates the performance of this scheme. We show that, given a processing gain of 128 for up to about 40 users, the performance of the proposed CCI canceller approaches the performance of a system without multi-user interference. We also show that the proposed CCI canceller offers an improvement in capacity by a factor of 1.5~3 over that of a conventional canceller  相似文献

该文针对已有的对多用户空时编码系统的研究大都集中在多用户STTC和STBC方案, 提出一种联合Turbo-BLAST的多用户空时方案。在接收端,针对传统的基于符号干扰抵消(Symbol-Level Cancellation, SLC)与检测的迭代接收机复杂度仍然较高的前提下,提出一种低复杂度的基于比特级干扰抵消(Bit-Level Cancellation, BLC)的迭代检测方案。该方案在检测部分将M-QAM调制符号分解成为一系列的BPSK符号的线性组合,采用比特级的干扰抵消。理论分析和仿真结果表明,该文提出的方案在保持BLAST高频谱效率的同时,与传统检测方案相比,在不降低系统性能的前提下,计算复杂度得到了很大程度的降低。  相似文献

为提高现有端到端通信系统的泛化能力和可靠性,提出了一种基于卷积神经网络的空时分组码(Space-Time Block Coding,STBC)多输入多输出通信系统物理层方案。该方案将通信系统物理层表述、调制和解调过程联合起来形成端到端自编码器系统,引入多层一维卷积层,分别构建发射机和接收机,并扩展为多天线模式。为进一步提高系统可靠性,合理规划网络结构和参数,联合信号的调制和编码方案,优化了系统模型。仿真实验表明,针对瑞利相关衰落下多输入多输出(Multiple-Input Multiple-Output,MIMO)信道应用场景,训练模型可以实现传统STBC系统的误码性能,两发两收系统在发送端相关系数为0和0.9时分别优于传统系统0.5 dB和1 dB。此外,经过优化后的系统可获得采用卷积编码的性能改善效果,其两发两收不同工作方式优于传统1/2码率卷积编码STBC系统1~3 dB。  相似文献

在多入多出的正交频分复用系统中,常采用Turbo接收以保证系统性能。在正交频分复用系统中,限幅技术是常见的峰值平均功率比抑制技术,但限幅带来的非线性失真会造成带内失真和带外辐射,从而恶化系统性能。本文提出可以利用Turho接收机的先验信息进行限幅非线性失真的迭代对消,从而在引入少量复杂度的基础上,对抗限幅带来的影响。仿真结果表明,引入限幅非线性失真迭代对消算法可以有效提高系统性能,限幅门限越低效果越明显。  相似文献

未来的通信对移动通信业务的要求越来越高,随着从单纯语音业务到多媒体业务的转变,通信中数据传输速率成为抑制日后发展的因素之一。因此人们努力研究各种高效的编码、调制以及传输的技术,用以提高数据的传输速率。空时编码是近年提出的重要技术之一,这种技术已经在第三代移动通信(3G)方案中广泛应用。本文在介绍简单的空时分组编码原理的基础上,着重研究了对共道信号产生的干扰进行抵消抑制的技术。采用具有干扰抵消技术的空时分组编码系统进行并行数据传输可以充分利用干扰信号之间的相关性进行有效的抵消处理,在原有的信道上能够极大的提高数据的传输速率。文中提出了一种利用多种调制方式抗干扰性能的不同,对共道信号进行分步解码来削弱共道干扰的影响的空时分组编码并行传输策略。这种方法能够进一步提高信号传输的性能,为提高通信系统的数据传输速率做出了保证。  相似文献

Iterative multiuser detection and space-time coding are two promising techniques to improve the capacity and performance of coded multiuser systems in wireless channels. In this paper, we present iterative multiuser detection schemes for a space-time block-coded multicarrier code-division multiple-access system with multiple transmit and receive antennas. We consider a more general case of an uplink system in the presence of both intra- and intercell interferences. We propose two types of iterative semiblind space-time receivers for such an uplink environment. The first is based on the minimum mean-square error criterion and the second is a hybrid scheme based on a combination of parallel interference cancellation and linear multiuser detection. These iterative receivers are derived, using a subspace approach, which utilizes known users' information for the computation of log-likelihood ratios (LLRs) while blindly suppressing the unknown interference. The LLRs are refined successively during the iterative process by using the extrinsic information available through decoding of all known users. A turbo code is used for channel coding. Simulation results in a frequency-selective Rayleigh-fading environment are presented to verify the performance of the proposed schemes.  相似文献

提出一种适用于长码CDMA移动通信系统上行链路的多用户接收机设计方案,包括多用户信道估计、多用户检测以及信道跟踪等算法。通过把用户传播时延的影响放入信道响应矩阵中,由信道估计间接得出各用户的传播时延。使用迭代运算的方式使得运算量分散,降低了对硬件平台的要求,使算法更为适用。增大观察窗的长度达到了更准确的用户信息比特判决,提高了接收机的性能。仿真结果表明文章提出的接收机设计方案具有很好的远近效应抑制能力,性能远高于传统的单用户Rake接收机。  相似文献

In this paper, we propose the blind space-time high rate multi-user detector for synchronous uplink multi-rate Direct Sequence Code Division Multiple Access (DS-CDMA) systems with antenna array at the base station. By employing antenna array at the base stations, the spatial dimension is used efficiently to suppress co-channel interference and increase the capacity for multi-rate CDMA system. After low rate physical users in the system are modeled as corresponding high rate virtual users, we construct the space-time signature vectors of virtual users. And subspace projection algorithm is employed to estimate space-time signature vectors blindly. Then a soft-decision high rate lnultiuser detector is proposed based on the estimated signature vectors, which avoids estimating the ambiguous complex factors which are necessary in traditional blind detector. Numerical simulation results evaluate the performance in terms of Bit Error Rate (BER) for the proposed scheme. Simultaneously, it demonstrates that the system capability increases two times when using twoelement antenna array.  相似文献

We consider the design of optimal multiuser receivers for space-time block coded (STBC) multicarrier code-division multiple-access (MC-CDMA) systems in unknown frequency-selective fading channels. Under a Bayesian framework, the proposed multiuser receiver is based on the Gibbs sampler, a Markov chain Monte Carlo (MCMC) method for numerically computing the marginal a posteriori probabilities of different users' data symbols. By exploiting the orthogonality property of the STBC and the multicarrier modulation, the computational complexity of the receiver is significantly reduced. Furthermore, being a soft-input soft-output algorithm, the Bayesian Monte Carlo multiuser detector is capable of exchanging the so-called extrinsic information with the maximum a posteriori (MAP) outer channel code decoders of all users, and successively improving the overall receiver performance. Several practical issues, such as testing the convergence of the Gibbs sampler in fading channel applications, resolving the phase ambiguity as well as the antenna ambiguity, and adapting the proposed receiver to multirate MC-CDMA systems, are also discussed. Finally, the performance of the Bayesian Monte Carlo multiuser receiver is demonstrated through computer simulations  相似文献

联合MAP多用户检测和信道译码的迭代多用户检测技术可显著提高多载波CDMA系统的容量和性能,本文给出了结合智能天线和迭代MAP多用户检测的Turbo时空多用户检测算法,该方法进一步提高了系统的性能.Turbo时空多用户检测算法不仅极大减小了传统最优MAP多用户检测算法的运算量,而且,此算法性能在AWGN和频率选择性衰落信道中都能逼近单用户编码多载波CDMA系统多天线接收的性能.  相似文献

We propose novel space-time multistage and iterative receiver structures and examine their application in code division multiple access (CDMA) mobile communication systems. In particular we derive an expression for weighting coefficients in parallel interference cancellers (PICs) in a system with a large number of users, where decision statistics bias is pronounced. We further examine the parameters in this expression and show how to obtain a practical partial cancellation method that allows on-line estimation of the weighting coefficients. In the proposed multistage PIC, the coefficients are calculated by using only the variances of the detector outputs. We also examine an iterative PIC and observe that this receiver has similar limitations as the multistage PIC. The application of the novel parallel interference cancellation strategy in the iterative receiver structure results in a spectacular system capacity improvement with a negligible complexity increase relative to the standard iterative receiver. The performance of the proposed receivers is further enhanced by receiver adaptive array antennas and space-time processing  相似文献

Maximum number of users in a Code Division Multiple Access (CDMA) system, disregarding the type of used signature sequences, is equal to the processing gain; but in overloaded CDMA systems, it is tried to use some special methods of applying signature sequences so that the number of users exceeds the processing gain of the system. This growth in capacity is gain at the cost of decrease in performance of the conventional systems; and usually it is tried to use channel coding methods or multi-user detectors to compensate this decrease. Because of advantages of using coding methods joined with multiuser detectors in achieving better performance and also because of some benefits of using (Low Density Parity Check) LDPC method in comparison with similar capacity achieving coding methods, in this article, an iterative multi-user detector for an overloaded LDPC Coded CDMA system is proposed. This receiver consists of a combination of matched filters in the first stage and a linear (Minimum Mean Square Error) MMSE detector and an Interference Cancellation (IC) scheme in the successive stages. In the suggested method, a bank of LDPC decoders gives the soft information to the IC blocks, which help for the better interference cancellation. Comparing the performance of the proposed system with that of Turbo coded system shows that the proposed system, in addition to advantages of using LDPC codes instead of Turbo codes, has better bit error rate performance.  相似文献

Multiple-input-multiple-output (MIMO) orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (OFDM) systems have recently attracted substantial research interest. However, compared to single-input-single-output (SISO) systems, channel estimation in the MIMO scenario becomes more challenging, owing to the increased number of independent transmitter-receiver links to be estimated. In the context of the Bell layered space-time architecture (BLAST) or space division multiple access (SDMA) multi-user MIMO OFDM systems, none of the known channel estimation techniques allows the number of users to be higher than the number of receiver antennas, which is often referred to as a "rank-deficient" scenario, owing to the constraint imposed by the rank of the MIMO channel matrix. Against this background, in this paper we propose a new genetic algorithm (GA) assisted iterative joint channel estimation and multi-user detection (GA-JCEMUD) approach for multi-user MIMO SDMA-OFDM systems, which provides an effective solution to the multi-user MIMO channel estimation problem in the above-mentioned rank-deficient scenario. Furthermore, the GAs invoked in the data detection literature can only provide a hard-decision output for the forward error correction (FEC) or channel decoder, which inevitably limits the system's achievable performance. By contrast, our proposed GA is capable of providing "soft" outputs and hence it becomes capable of achieving an improved performance with the aid of FEC decoders. A range of simulation results are provided to demonstrate the superiority of the proposed scheme.  相似文献

该文针对码分多址(Code-Division Multiple-Access,CDMA)系统提出了频谱有效的差分空时传输方案。考虑包含M个同步共道用户的多用户环境,每一用户配备双发射天线。若接收端配备N2个接收天线,该方案将采用解相关检测器和接收天线分集分离M个用户。基于平坦Rayleigh衰落信道,给出了非相干译码器,它可为每一共道用户提供2(N-1)的最小分集增益。与已有的差分空时编码CDMA系统相比,该方案具有两大优势:第一,仅需增加单个接收天线,该方案可在频谱效率提高1/3的条件下显著地改善系统性能;第二,译码仅具有线性复杂度。  相似文献

This Letter focuses on the development of a blind adaptive receiver for space-time block coding (STBC) over multipath fading. The constant modulus (CM) criterion is utilised on the received signals, whereby an orthogonality constraint of the transmitted STBC signals prevents the multiple extractions of the same source. Recently, space-time block codes (STBCs) have gained much attention as an effective transmit diversity technique to increase the capacity of wireless communication systems. In this paper, we consider a general technique for direct equalization of space-time block-coding systems with unknown channel state information (CSI). This technique is suitable for several existing hybrid STBC schemes, such as STBC/orthogonal-frequency-division multiplexing (STBC-OFDM) and STBC/code-division multiple access (STBC-CDMA). We show that by exploiting the redundancy in the structure of STBC, a zero-forcing equalizer can be constructed without channel estimation. The conditions for the identifiability of the zero-forcing equalizer are also derived to ensure correct equalization. To further improve the performance of the proposed method, a new iterative algorithm is developed by incorporating the finite alphabet property of information symbols. Simulation results show that the proposed algorithms can outperform comparative schemes in most simulation conditions.  相似文献
