维多利亚褐煤一般被认为是一种中级岩土材料(IGMs),其岩土工程性质介于常规土体和岩石之间。褐煤富含有机质,其自然结构和物理组分比较复杂。褐煤具有不同于常规软黏土的基本岩土参数,包括自然密度和相对密度低、天然含水率高、孔隙比大,渗透系数相对较低等。采用原状褐煤试样开展了标准室内固结试验,褐煤材料的固结变形曲线主要表现为:初始阶段变形明显且很快完成,初始阶段变形占比很大,在数分钟内应变可达50%,在较明显的拐点之后,后续变形相对较缓慢。标准Terzaghi固结并不能很好地适用于褐煤材料。设计开展了褐煤材料的常水头渗透试验,基于不同超静孔压消散路径采用2种方法测量了褐煤的渗透系数,试验测得的褐煤材料渗透系数值相对较小。  相似文献

Prefabricated vertical drains (PVDs) were partially or fully penetrated into thick clay deposits at a reclamation project in Busan City, Korea. Elasto-viscoplastic finite element analysis is conducted to predict the long-term behaviors using a macro-element technique. Settlements predicted using laboratory-based and back-analyzed soil parameters are in good agreement with monitored data. The relationships of time versus volumetric strain and excess pore pressure at each element are effective in investigating the overall behaviors; that is, the settlements in the improved zone degrade from steep to gentle slopes, whereas those in the unimproved zone change with a relatively gentle slope. The effect of partially penetrated PVD on ue dissipation appears to be in relatively good agreement with results obtained by Ong et al.'s (2012) method.  相似文献

Excessive ground surface settlement induced by pit excavation (i.e. braced excavation) can potentially result in damage to the nearby buildings and facilities. In this paper, extensive finite element analyses have been carried out to evaluate the effects of various structural, soil and geometric properties on the maximum ground surface settlement induced by braced excavation in anisotropic clays. The anisotropic soil properties considered include the plane strain shear strength ratio (i.e. the ratio of the passive undrained shear strength to the active one) and the unloading shear modulus ratio. Other parameters considered include the support system stiffness, the excavation width to excavation depth ratio, and the wall penetration depth to excavation depth ratio. Subsequently, the maximum ground surface settlement of a total of 1479 hypothetical cases were analyzed by various machine learning algorithms including the ensemble learning methods (extreme gradient boosting (XGBoost) and random forest regression (RFR) algorithms). The prediction models developed by the XGBoost and RFR are compared with that of two conventional regression methods, and the predictive accuracy of these models are assessed. This study aims to highlight the technical feasibility and applicability of advanced ensemble learning methods in geotechnical engineering practice.  相似文献

对长沙某二元结构土层中一个地铁车站明挖基坑对周边高层建筑的影响进行分析,首先,介绍工程地质条件、周边建筑情况、基坑施工及监测方案;然后,分析连续墙的侧移和坑外沉降,并重点分析高层建筑的沉降、变形的历程和特点。与软土地区的多层建筑的沉降相比,高层建筑的沉降受周边连续墙的施工和坑内降水的影响很小;建筑物的沉降小于邻近地表沉降,且出现了转动和隆起;建筑物的沉降、变形与建筑的长宽比、距基坑的距离呈一定的正比关系。  相似文献

地基沉降计算一直是岩土工程研究中的热点和难点问题,其困难在于室内试验与原位岩土参数差异较大,尤其是砂土地基和结构性强的硬黏土地基,基于室内试验参数的沉降计算与实际的误差较大。基于原位压板载荷试验来确定计算参数的切线模量法能克服这个缺点,并能计算地基的非线性沉降,是地基沉降计算的一个新进步。但原位压板载荷试验相对其他试验难度大、费用高,尤其对于深层土体,难度更大。为此,利用位于美国Texas A&M University大学河滨校区砂土地基上进行的系统的岩土试验资料,通过其不同压板尺寸的载荷试验,对切线模量法应用于砂土地基非线性沉降计算的适用性进行了验证,然后进一步研究由旁压试验、静力触探等简单的原位试验确定切线模量法所需的计算参数的可行性。结果表明:切线模量法所需的计算参数由旁压试验、静力触探等简单的原位试验确定是可行的,从而为切线模量法的推广应用确定提供了更简单的方法。对推动地基设计理论的发展有较好的意义。  相似文献

Reliably estimating soil vertical compression under vacuum loading is still challenging for geotechnical engineers. In this paper, the soil vertical compression within the prefabricated vertical drain (PVD)-improved zone under vacuum pressure was investigated based on the theoretical analysis, reported laboratory tests and the case histories. A theoretical equation was developed to evaluate the effect of lateral displacement on the soil vertical compression. The observed small overall lateral-to-vertical strain ratio at the perimeter of the PVD-improved zone soil showed that the vertical compression of PVD-improved zone was close to one-dimensional (1-D) state, but 1-D compression method yielded smaller predictions than the measurements from the case histories. The back-analyzed soil modulus of the natural soft clay in Shanghai Disneyland Resort project showed considerable degradation as compared to the corresponding constrained modulus from the laboratory test. Such degradation could be due to the soil disturbance caused by PVD installation. The 1-D compression method was modified by introducing two factors to consider the effect of soil lateral displacement and to correct the constrained modulus due to the soil disturbance caused by PVD installation, respectively. The recommendations were provided after applying the proposed method to a case history.  相似文献

垃圾填埋场底部铺设含黏土或膨润土掺砂混合土的防渗系统,防止渗滤液流入地下污染周边环境。采用模型试验研究Ca~(2+)离子浓度和基础局部沉降对膨润土掺砂混合土渗透特性的影响。试验结果表明Ca~(2+)浓度对膨润土掺砂混合土的渗透性能有较大影响,渗透液中Ca~(2+)浓度超过一定值后混合土渗漏;Ca~(2+)离子浓度与发生渗透时间之间有很大关系,浓度越高发生渗透的时间越短;同样沉降量条件下,含Ca~(2+)离子溶液渗透的混合土均发生渗漏,而用蒸馏水作渗透液的没有出现渗漏;钠基膨润土遇Ca~(2+)离子溶液后,当Ca~(2+)离子浓度大于两倍Na+就会发生离子交换,钠基膨润土转化为钙基膨润土,混合土的防渗性能下降。因此开展Ca~(2+)离子浓度对膨润土掺砂混合土渗透特性的研究具有较好的理论和实际意义。  相似文献

This paper presents a case history of the performance of two full-scale test embankments constructed on soft clay deposit in the eastern coastal region of China. One embankment was constructed on natural subsoil and the other was constructed on prefabricated vertical drain (PVD) improved subsoil. The thickness of the soft clay deposit without PVD-improvement was 19 m and with PVD-improved case was 23 m. The PVDs were installed to a depth of 19 m with spacing of 1.5 m in a triangular pattern. Field performance of the two embankments was analyzed using the finite element method. The following influential factors: (i) hydraulic conductivity of subsoil in field and (ii) discharge capacity of PVDs were investigated numerically. The back-analyzed results for the embankment on natural subsoil showed that the hydraulic conductivity ratio (Cf) of field to laboratory values is about 6. To analyse the PVD-improved subsoil, a simple approach using the equivalent vertical hydraulic conductivity of PVD-improved subsoil was employed. The analytical results show that PVDs increased the bulk vertical hydraulic conductivity of soft subsoil by about 30 times compared to the original non-treated subsoil. The discharge capacity of PVDs in this field case is 79–100 m3/a, which is consistent with the findings from laboratory tests and other reported values in literature.  相似文献

This paper presents the results of geotechnical and mineralogical investigations on lime treated clay soils from Hamedan City, Iran, and effects of pH variations on their shear strength parameters. Initially, lime was added in different percentages and laboratory experiments were conducted after curing times. The results indicate that these soils can be stabilized satisfactorily with the addition of about 7 % lime. Also, investigation of the relationship between lime-treated geotechnical properties and lime percentage and curing time demonstrates high regression coefficients for the proposed relationships. Several laboratory tests were performed on treated and untreated clay soils with lime mixed with pore fluids with different pH values including 3, 5, 7 and 9. The results of shear strength tests indicated that the undrained shear strength parameters for untreated clays increased considerably if the pore fluid had a high pH (pH = 9) or a low pH (pH = 3). It can also be found that for lime-treated soils, maximum cohesion and friction angle values are achieved at pH = 9.  相似文献

This technical report presents the probabilistic analysis which integrates the Monte Carlo simulation (MCS) with random field theory to model the load–displacement behavior of Controlled Modulus Columns (CMCs) in overconsolidated Poznań clay. Presented study focuses on the practical aspects of statistical analysis of geotechnical data, numerical model development, and results evaluation. Variability and spatial distribution of geotechnical parameters are based directly on field and lab testing. The inherent variability of soil parameters obtained from geotechnical investigation at the site is similar to the values reported in worldwide datasets for clays. The extensive discussion about incorporation of installation effects into numerical modelling is made. It was found that proper incorporation of installation effects is governed by correct estimation of initial stress level and interface shear strength parameters. The Anisotropic Undrained Shear Strength (AUS) model which captures nonlinear behavior and anisotropy of soil (Krabbenhøft et al., 2019) is a good choice to model overconsolidated clay in intact and interface zones. The application of total stress approach, the AUS model, installation effects, and natural (inherent) variability of soil and interface parameters is sufficient to explain differences in CMC load – displacement behavior observed in the field.  相似文献

沉降变形与卸载标准是铁路路基堆载预压的主要问题。针对处于沿海滩涂软土路基之上的铁路专用线,采用插塑板与堆载预压相结合的方案进行地基处理,开展了大量的表层沉降、孔隙水压力、分层沉降等观测项目。据实测资料,总结分析了路基表面的沉降规律,并考虑了路基分层沉降与孔隙水压力的变化规律,全面地揭示了整个路基地层的沉降变化特征,运用双曲线合理地预测了工后沉降,且推算出路基整体的固结度,采用工后沉降与地基固结度建立卸载时机判别标准。为堆载预压的卸载时机判别标准研究提供了一种新的思路。  相似文献

以某工程边坡为例,通过现场试验及岩土工程勘察方法,得到了各类地质参数和地质力学模型,然后结合现场锚索张拉试验成果对锚索及边坡边界条件进行数值模拟反算,讨论锚索应力及变形演化规律。结果表明:注浆体与岩体接触面的剪切应力在锚固段近端顶部附近达到最大值,然后向远端逐渐变小,在1.5m附近变为零,其变化具有窄闭型抛物线特征,数值试验结果比理论弹性解要小。  相似文献

The geotechnical properties and microstructures of lime-stabilized silt clay from Jilin province, China, were studied in detail. Laboratory tests were conducted to evaluate the effects of lime content and curing time on the overall soil properties, including compaction characteristics, Atterberg limits, particle size distribution, pH, stress–strain behavior, peak strength, shear strength parameters, and California bearing ratio (CBR). The stabilized mechanisms of lime in silt clay were examined, and the observed test results were explained based on the results of scanning electron microscropy (SEM) and X-ray diffraction analyses of the specimens. Lime content and curing duration significantly influenced the geotechnical properties and microstructure of the lime-stabilized silt clay specimens. An increase in lime content resulted in increases in compaction water content, liquid limit, plastic limit, sand size-fractions, pH, peak strength, cohesion, internal friction angle, and the CBR, but led to a reduction in the plasticity index, silt fractions, clay fractions, swelling capacity, and water absorption. Also, the addition of lime to silt clay changed this soil type from a ductile to a brittle material. The optimum lime content of the silt clays from Jilin province was determined to be approximately 5–7%. SEM micrographs showed that a white cementitious gel was formed after the addition of lime and that peaks related to smectite, illite, kaolinite, and quartz appeared to be sharper after stabilization with lime and a 90-day period of curing. These results show that the geotechnical properties of lime-stabilized silt clay are affected by the microstructural organization of the silt clay itself.

The coefficient of consolidation (c v or c h) is an important parameter in both geotechnical and geo-environmental engineering, measuring the flow characteristics of soils. In China, conventionally it is obtained from the oedometer test, which is time consuming and of limited accuracy due to inevitable sample disturbance. These difficulties can be overcome by in situ pizeocone dissipation tests which provide continuous measurements of pore water pressure with time. In this paper, existing methods for interpreting coefficient of consolidation in clays from piezocone dissipation tests are briefly reviewed. Piezocone tests were undertaken at different sites in the Jiangsu province of China and piezocone dissipation tests conducted at different penetration depths. Based on the reference c v values determined from the laboratory oedometer tests, comparisons with existing interpretation methods were undertaken. It is shown that the Teh and Houlsby’s interpretation method has a much higher accuracy for determining the coefficient of consolidation of Quaternary clay deposits while the values of c h obtained by the CPTU method are in the range of back-analyzed field values.  相似文献

 为了揭示黄土高填方的沉降规律,并预测其工后沉降,对某高填方的监测成果进行分析,将FEM数值计算与分层迭代反演方法结合,对高填方的工后沉降进行反演预测。分析结果表明:填方体自身沉降占总沉降的63%而原地基沉降占37%,施工期产生沉降的主要原因是非饱和土孔隙气压密及排气固结,原地基和填方厚度的不均匀是地表差异沉降的主要原因。分层迭代反演法与FEM结合能更精确的反映施工加载对填土形变参数的影响,采用反演参数预测沉降值与现有实测数据吻合较好。  相似文献

本文针对地源热泵的核心技术问题,介绍了对两种典型地源换热器的散热试验研究:粉质粘土中的垂直单U管、地表水中的水平单U管。研究发现,两种换热器的传热性能差别很大。从开始试验到循环水温度稳定所需要的过渡时间上,地表水换热器比粉质粘土埋管型换热器要快得多。从传热能力来看,地表水换热器的单位管长换热量比粉质粘土垂直单U管要大。  相似文献

Kansai International Airport was planned to provide a fundamental solution to the aircraft noise pollution problem in the area surrounding Osaka International Airport (Itami Airport) and to the increasing demand for air transportation This man-made island was constructed 5 km offshore in Osaka bay to minimize noise pollution in residential areas. The airport commenced operations in September 1994. The second phase of construction work involved building an island further offshore than the island built in the first phase. Since the sea water is deep at the Kansai International Airport construction site and the layers below the seabed consist of a very soft layer of Holocene clay (immediately below the seabed surface) followed by alternate layers of Pleistocene clay and sand/gravel, the construction of an airport island was expected to produce a considerable amount of ground settlement. The amount of settlement during and after construction needed to be predicted in the design of the airport islands, and the results needed to be considered in the details of the land development work. This report outlines the second phase construction work at Kansai International Airport and describes the related geotechnical issues, with a particular emphasis on settlement.  相似文献

 采用Ф800 mm模型盾构开展室内掘进试验以研究土压盾构掘进对上软下硬地层的扰动特征,试验充分考虑土压盾构动态施工全过程的影响。建立与室内掘进试验对应的离散元模型定量分析软土超挖现象并挖掘其他地层扰动信息。研究结果表明:土压盾构在硬岩地层中掘进时地表沉降曲面呈现向软土侧展开的“扇面”状;进入上软下硬地层后地表沉降值与范围均急剧增加,沉降曲面呈现自上而下逐渐收缩的“漏斗”状,硬岩侧收缩速度快于软土侧;上软下硬地层地表位移小于均质软土地层,而地中沉降显著大于后者;上软下硬地层地中沉降槽宽度参数沿深度方向呈指数增加,硬岩占断面比例越小,地中沉降槽宽度参数越大。相同埋深条件下,上软下硬地层地中沉降槽宽度参数小于均质软土地层。硬岩占断面比例越大,渣土中砂土所占比例与相应理论值差异越明显。地表水平位移在竖向沉降槽曲线反弯点处最大。研究可为土压盾构在上软下硬地层施工提供参考。  相似文献
