太阳能是洁净的可再生能源,利用它来直接泵浦激光工作物质产生激光,即为太阳能直接泵浦式激光器.本文阐述了太阳能泵浦激光器的发展历程,介绍了太阳光的成像采集和非成像采集系统以及太阳能激光器的泵浦方式,并分析了掺Nd和CrNd共掺材料等激光工作物质的性能.最后经过分析,认为Cr/Yb共掺双包层光纤在太阳能泵浦激光器方面具有很大的应用潜力. 相似文献

Surface-emitting semiconductor lasers can make use of external cavities and optical pumping techniques to achieve a combination of high continuous-wave output power and near-diffraction-limited beam quality that is not matched by any other type of semiconductor source. Lasers can now be regarded as practical and economic tools with unique properties which have been utilized effectively in several applications in industry. Major applications of the laser are in thermal processes and measurements. Large amounts of concentrated energy allow microdrilling, welding, cutting, and fracturing to be simply effected in even the hardest materials. The coherence properties provide ideal sources for alignment instruments and interferometers for accurate length measurement. This paper describes these applications and their typical capabilities. Future developments and their potential are discussed, with the conclusion that the laser will be increasingly used in the manufacturing environment. 相似文献

利用光纤布拉格光栅(FBG)作为腔镜,研制了一种全光纤结构的掺Yb^2 光纤激光器。以泵浦波长978nm的LD作为抽运算,在1060.4nm波段获得了0.14nm的窄线宽激光输出。实验中发现掺Yb^3 光纤长度对激光器的阈值及输出功率均有影响,但光纤激光器的输出线宽保持不变。最大激光输出功率为2.36mW,斜率效率达到22.2%。 相似文献

本文介绍了烈波长晶体激光器的概况, 重点描述了我们在双波长晶体激光器方面的研究工作。这些工作如下:建立了多波长激光器的振荡条件, 用它分析、比较了Nd:YAG, Nd:YLF, Nd:BEL和Nd:YAlO3(Nd:YAP)等晶体实现4F3/2-4I11/2和4F3/2-4I13/2跃迁双波长激光的可能性, 分析表明上述晶体均能实现脉冲双波长激光.但只有Nd:YAP晶体能实现连续双波长激光运转。根据这判断, 我们利用Nd:YAP晶体, 首次获得了晶体双波长连续激光, l079.5 nm和1341.4 nm输出功率分别选23.9 W和25.4 W。并研制成Nd:YAG和大能黄Nd:YAP双波长激光器 实验表明, 这二种激光器中二个波长的输出具有较好的时间和空间的重叠性 此外, 我们还研制成1655 nm和1663 nm双渡长及271l nm, 2730 nm和2790 nm三波长Er:YAP脉冲激光器。 相似文献

As mid-infrared (MIR) lasers show numerous applications in the field of defense, medical, materials processing, and optical communications. Investigation on MIR Raman fiber lasers (RFLs) increasingly becomes a hot topic. Compared with the traditional silica fibers, fluoride and chalcogenide glass fibers possess higher nonlinear coefficients and excellent MIR transmittances. In this article, the latest developments of the MIR RFLs using fluoride and chalcogenide glass fibers as gain media are introduced, respectively. This review article mainly focuses on the developments of MIR RFLs in aspects of output wavelength, output power, and optical efficiency. Besides, the prospect of MIR RFLs is also discussed. 相似文献
