The development of new lubrication methods in CNC machine carriages is a current requirement in the machining industry. Previously, lubrication systems of CNC machines were only improved via injection automation approaches. This paper focuses on the lubrication mode on the linear guideways of CNC machines. Additionally, the research investigates the effects of oil injection time and the amount of the required lubricant for accurate and precise machining. This study was also concerned with variations in environmental temperature and carriage movement conditions. Oil injection amount was determined by pump response interval (PRI), which was varied for optimization. Smart optimum quantity lubrication (SOQL) was applied to overcome unexpected changes in practical parameters during machining. The optimum oil consumption of SOQL was achieved when PRI was 15 s, resulting in a reduction of oil consumption of up to 25 %. The SOQL technique is an emerging method in lubrication technology and plays an important role in alleviating the current issues that CNC lubrication systems are faced with. 相似文献

盾构机主轴承具有尺寸大、承受载荷高且转速慢的特点,研究其主轴承腔内润滑状况,对于保证盾构机主轴承的可靠性至关重要。运用三维建模软件及流体仿真软件对盾构机主轴承进行建模及腔内流体域仿真,研究主要润滑参数包括进油口位置分布、进油口的选择、润滑油黏度对腔内润滑状态的影响,以及腔内润滑状态与温度的关系。结果表明:进油口位置分布对润滑状态有着较大影响,非对称进油口分布对这种极低速旋转及重载的盾构机主轴承更有利;为改善润滑状态,进油口应分主进油口和副进油口,保持主进油口常开,副进油口的打开视工况而定;润滑油黏度对润滑状态及温度都有较大影响,存在最佳黏度区间使得温度保持较低水平且润滑状态良好;对应位置润滑油体积分数与温度成反比关系。 相似文献

Machine lubrication systems are a very important portion of manufacturing and production workshop maintenance. Automatic lubrication systems eliminate the need for often careless manual lubrication, providing a safer, more frequent, and opportune monitored approach to machine lubrication. However, traditional automated lubrication systems have inherent environmental and technical–economic problems. With the goal of higher machining precision, cost-effectiveness, greater reduction in oil consumption, and more flexible performance, an automated lubrication control system is introduced in this research work. The new automated lubrication control system in computer numerical control machine tool guideways is a novel approach in machining technology; failure detection/correction in the lubrication system may be identified by temperature signals from sensitive temperature sensors installed in the machine tool guideways, with the signals reflecting the friction, wear, and loading conditions. Data collected via temperature sensors, data analysis, and preparation of commanding signals are analyzed by a lubrication control unit (LCU). The LCU transmits signals to actuators to trigger oil injection by the oil pump. The display unit presents real-time measured temperature variations along with the pump's operation state. 相似文献

为探讨自乳化酯作为全合成切削液主润滑剂的可能性,以聚醚、四聚蓖麻油酸酯、自乳化酯为润滑剂调配了不同的合成切削液;采用四球抗磨试验机以及攻丝扭矩试验机、液体循环泡沫试验机,考察3种润滑剂在全合成切削液中的润滑性能、抗磨性能及抗泡性能。结果表明:自乳化酯能有效提高全合成切削液的润滑性能和抗磨性能,其润滑性能及抗磨性能与四聚蓖麻油酸酯相当;自乳化酯的抗泡性能显著优于四聚蓖麻油酸酯,与聚醚类润滑剂抗泡性能相当。自乳化酯具有良好的润滑及抗磨作用,且泡沫相对较低,可以与其他类型添加剂复配,用于全合成切削液中。 相似文献

Effective lubrication and cooling is necessary to ensure grinding temperature levels not to become excessive during grinding process. Conventional grinding fluid has negative influences on the working environment in terms of the health of the machine operator. Furthermore, the using of grinding fluid is seen to increase production cost due to fluid purchase and disposal. One attractive alternative is the minimum quantity lubrication (MQL) grinding. In this study, oil–water was applied in the MQL grinding and the grinding results were compared with those of wet, dry, and pure oil MQL grinding. It is found that MQL grinding in comparison to dry grinding significantly enhances grinding performance in terms of improving the quality of the ground workpiece and reducing grinding temperature and forces. Compared with pure oil MQL grinding, the grinding temperature and the thickness of the affected layer for oil–water MQL grinding are lower. However, the tangential force and surface roughness for oil–water MQL grinding are higher than that for pure oil MQL grinding. This indicates that the former has a better cooling condition than the latter, but the lubrication capacity is contrary. 相似文献
