分布反馈染料激光器(简称DFDL)是七十年代发展起来的。Kogelnik及Shank等于1971年第一次将分布反馈体现在染料激光器中。经过多年的努力,特别是最近的研究证明DFDL是超短光脉冲产生的一种新途径。Zs.Bor等人用TEA N_2激光器泵浦DFDL获得了6ps的短脉冲输出,用锁模Nd:YAG激光泵浦DFDL产生了1.6~3.5ps转换极限的单脉冲。DFDL廉价、简便,该技术比锁模技术简单可靠,不需特殊的脉冲选择装置就可获得单脉冲,不用调制器就可直接产生微微秒脉冲,即使有几个脉冲,也可利用各脉冲的方向不同,方便地进行空间选取, 相似文献

An electronic feedback circuit is described which has been used in a Nd:glass high-power laser system for converting the spiky light emission into a smooth near-rectangular output of adjustable intensity and duration. The feedback circuit is also capable of converting the laser emission into a stroboscopic output of frequency of several hundreds of kilohertz or into aQ -switched high-intensity output. The attractive feature of the system is that the change from one type of laser operation into the other does not require any modification to the circuit, but only a simple readjustment of a few control knobs. The feedback system incorporates a high-current fast photodiode, a Pockels-cell shutter, and a pulser. The main innovation of the present electronic feedback circuit over previously proposed systems is the ability to set the Pockels cell at any point of its transmission curve. This feature will be demonstrated to be of decisive importance in smoothing out the laser emission and in converting the spiky light output into a series of periodic light pulses. 相似文献

本文首先从理论上通过简单的分析得以了有源光纤环形腔的输出谱密度函数公式,该式清楚地表明光纤环形腔的频率滤波特性。从该公式出发,详细分析了环形腔输入光纤宽和环形腔参数对输出光谱谱型和线宽的影响。最后,通过设计不同的环形腔的自由谱宽和不同线宽的激光器作为输出光源,对上述理论分析做了实验验证。理论和实验表明,由于环形腔的强度传递函数是多峰的响应函数,环形腔自由谱宽和输入激光线宽的大小直接影响到环形腔输出光频谱形状,即是单峰输出还是多峰输出,对于不同形状的光谱输出,输出激光的线宽受环形腔的参数影响也各不相同。 相似文献

The advantages of supported metal strip gratings with respect to free-standing metal meshes are pointed out for applications as laser output couplers. A new, simple formula for the power transmission through the strip grating on a dielectric plate is derived from a line equivalent-circuit model. This formula is in good agreement with measurements performed on several samples, at different submillimeter wavelengths. An application to output couplers of far-infrared gas discharge lasers allows to improve the reliability of such lasers. 相似文献

提出了一种采用高非线性光纤作为布里渊增益介质 的双倍布里渊频移间隔的多波长布里渊光纤激光器(MW-BEFL)。激光器利用两个环形器构成 双倍频移结构,将奇数阶的斯托克斯信号隔离在腔内循环,仅有泵浦 信号和偶数阶的斯托克斯信号能够耦合输出,实现了双倍布里渊频移的多波长输出。激光器 腔内没有引入 任何的有源增益介质对斯托克斯信号进行放大,消除了腔内自激模的影响。激光器的调谐范 围由布里渊泵 浦的工作波长和掺铒光纤放大器(EDFA)的增益带宽决定。实验中,在布里渊 抽运 功率为0dBm、EDFA的输出功率为20 dBm的情况下,在1536~1605nm之间得到双频移间隔的多 波长输出,调谐范围是69nm。 相似文献

Metal halide perovskites are promising materials for optoelectronic and photonic applications ranging from photovoltaics to laser devices. However, current perovskite devices are constrained to simple low-dimensional structures suffering from limited design freedom and holding up performance improvement and functionality upgrades. Here, a micro-origami technique is developed to program 3D perovskite microarchitectures toward a new type of microcavity laser. The design flexibility in 3D supports not only outstanding laser performance such as low threshold, tunable output, and high stability but also yields new functionalities like 3D confined mode lasing and directional emission in, for example, laser “array-in-array” systems. The results represent a significant step forward toward programmable microarchitectures that take perovskite optoelectronics and photonics into the 3D era. 相似文献

一、引言 铜蒸气泵浦染料可调谐激光器具有重复率高、输出功率高等优点,是应用激光光谱中的重要激光器件。器件结构见图1。用Littrow光栅和平面镜组成了谐振腔。如图1的染料激光器的前腔板一般都采用平板玻璃(R=8%),其优点是装调方便,但考虑到染料槽的宽度只有0.3mm,光束的衍射角大(约2.5mard),因此谐振腔的衍射损耗大。在某些实际应用中,M_1与染料槽间往往还要留出一段距离以便插入光学元件,衍射损耗则将加大。为了提高器件的效率,我们采用凹面反射镜代替平板。 相似文献

We demonstrate efficient vertical-cavity surface-emitting laser diodes with high output power levels. Improved output power in these pillar-etched devices is achieved through a 60% lower thermal resistance by using a 15-/spl mu/m-thick Au-plated heat spreading layer on the top surface with a size of 300/spl times/300 /spl mu/m/sup 2/. The maximum continous wave output power increases almost linearly with laser diameter, before it saturates at 42 mW for an unmounted Au-plated device of 64-/spl mu/m diameter. A simple analytical model describes the laser output characteristics and the size-dependent saturation behavior of the maximum output power. 相似文献

A Dy:YLF laser operating on the 6H 11/2 to 6H 13/2 transition at 4.34 μm and using a laser pumping scheme is reported. This pumping scheme is necessitated by the short upper-laser-level lifetime and the small effective stimulated-emission cross section. A suitable laser for this application is the Er:YLF laser operating at 1.73 μm. A simple model that approximates Dy:YLF laser performance well is presented. Results on laser performance, including a determination of the slope efficiency and threshold as a function of the output mirror reflectivity and a correlation of the pulse length with the laser output energy, are reported.
