D2D based communication holds a promising future for 5G networks as they are efficient and can yield high data rates, good signal to noise interference ratio, improved resource-block uploading time, minimized delay from one end to the other and conserved power for transmission. The traditional system of cellular type contains cell edge clients who need a larger resource blocks count as well as time to upload data. Hence the quality of service will be reduced. The relay scheme in the proposal for cooperative type D2D networks is pivoted on the value of channel gain as well as transmission link distance. For bringing down the resource blocks’ count as well as uploading time, the paper is proposing a capable scheme of selection of relays that employs communication of D2D in the situations of uplinking. To begin with, in a cell modeling is done. It contains D2D pairs of multiple types as well as cellular clients. Next, the analysis related to issues of allocating resources as well as control of power is done. In order to lessen the resource blocks as well as their uploading time, the paper in proposal suggests a better blocks management mechanism that uses D2D based communication. Simulated output infers that the method in the proposal is superior to the present methods as far as time to upload contents; resource blocks, SINR, throughput as well as rates of data and Energy Consumption are concerned. Added to that, the stated method conserves 43% of the Energy Consumption of the network clients and while doing that the time to upload the contents is not affected.

The current paper proposes a new, simple, methodical approach to broadband microstrip antenna design. The approach relies on a reformulation of the antenna-design problem as an impedance-matching problem, in which the antenna is considered to be the matching device required to match the feed line to air. Thus, impedance-matching techniques, such as Chebyshev transformers and a Klopfenstein taper, are employed to determine the antenna parameters necessary to satisfy a set of specifications. Simulation results as well as measured results show that the proposed matched-to-air microstrip antennas (MAMAs) qualify as a new class of broadband microstrip antennas, which have the advantages of relying on a systematic approach (as opposed to the usual trial-and-error procedures that are now prevalent), as well as being very easy to fabricate, using inexpensive off-shelf components.  相似文献

We report, what is to our knowledge, the lowest-noise pulsetrain produced to date with an actively mode-locked external-cavity semiconductor diode laser. Operating characteristics at 10 GHz include dispersion-compensated pulsewidths as short as 1.2 ps, amplitude noise as low as 0.12% rms, and residual phase noise as low as 43-fs rms. Potential application of such a laser in a next-generation optical analog-to-digital converter would theoretically provide as much as 8.6 bits of resolution, while sampling a 5-GHz waveform at the Nyquist frequency  相似文献

We propose a mathematical framework and algorithms both to build accurate models of fluorescence microscope time series, as well as to design intelligent acquisition systems based on these models. Model building allows the information contained in the 2-D and 3-D time series to be presented in a more useful and concise form than the raw image data. This is particularly relevant as the trend in biology tends more and more towards high-throughput applications, and the resulting increase in the amount of acquired image data makes visual inspection impractical. The intelligent acquisition system uses an active learning approach to choose the acquisition regions that let us build our model most efficiently, resulting in a shorter acquisition time, as well as a reduction of the amount of photobleaching and phototoxicity incurred during acquisition. We validate our methodology by modeling object motion within a cell. For intelligent acquisition, we propose a set of algorithms to evaluate the information contained in a given acquisition region, as well as the costs associated with acquiring this region in terms of the resulting photobleaching and phototoxicity and the amount of time taken for acquisition. We use these algorithms to determine an acquisition strategy: where and when to acquire, as well as when to stop acquiring. Results, both on synthetic as well as real data, demonstrate accurate model building and large efficiency gains during acquisition.   相似文献

The nature of silence is discussed as an imposition of mind, as an interdependent signification ground for speech signs, as a relationship to mental time (as opposed to artificial time), and as it relates to sensation, perception and metaphorical movement. Three major forms of silence are defined: Psycholinguistic Silence, of which there are two subtypes, designated Fast-time silence and Slow-time silence; Interactive Silence; and Sociocultural Silence. The three major forms are then briefly described as they relate to some important human communication functions. In the absence of empirical evidence, a number of hypotheses are offered.  相似文献

Molecular dynamics simulations using suitably fitted empirical potentials have been employed to describe atomic interactions at interfaces created by the macroscopic wafer bonding process. Investigating perfect or distorted surfaces (steps, reconstruction, adsorbates, facets, mistilt, twist rotation) of different semiconductor materials as well as of silica enables one to study the elementary processes and the resulting defects at the interfaces as well as to characterize the ability of the potentials used. Preliminary simulations on the basis of empirical potentials developed by the bond order tight-binding approximation, yield enhanced interface structures and energetic relaxations as well as transferability to new materials systems.  相似文献

The future Wireless Cloud Networks (WCNs ) are required to satisfy both extremely high levels of service resilience and security assurance (i. e., Blue criteria ) by overproviding backup network resources and cryptographic protection on wireless communication respectively, as well as minimizing energy consumption (i.e., Green criteria) by switching off unnecessary resources as much as possible. There is a contradiction to satisfy both Blue and Green design criteria simultaneously. In this paper, we propose a new BlueGreen topological control scheme to leverage the wireless link connectivity for WCNs using an adaptive encryption key allocation mechanism, named as Shared Backup Path Keys (SBPK). The BlueGreen SBPK can take into account the network dependable requirements such as service resilience, security assurance and energy efficiency as a whole, so as trading off between them to find an optimal solution. Actually, this challenging problem can be modeled as a global optimization problem, where the network working and backup elements such as nodes , links , encryption keys and their energy consumption are considered as a resource, and their utilization should be minimized. The case studies confirm that there is a tradeoff optimal solution between the capacity efficiency and energy efficiency to achieve the dependable WCNs .  相似文献

Shallow bulk acoustic wave propagation in piezoelectric crystals is reviewed from the standpoint of work reported to date. It is compared to bulk and surface acoustic waves as to properties and device potential.
