移动个人信息管理系统是运行在掌上电脑、智能手机等移动设备上的个人信息管理系统。为实现其对各种类型的个人信息的强大管理功能,必须要有一个适宜的底层存储方案作为保障。本文基于COM的结构化存储机制和实验室自主研发的嵌入式移动数据库管理系统SwiftDB的数据管理功能,提出了一种信息项存储方案,能够解决个人信息项种类繁多和移动设备上资源有限等系统存储难点,以较小的代价和较快的存取速度实现用户对信息项的访问操作。  相似文献

无线网络中断和弱连接现象,常导致用户在访问远程数据时访问中断和数据丢失,并正成为移动计算发展的一个瓶颈。基于这种现状,提出一种在无线网络出现连接暂时中断时移动计算环境下移动数据的处理模型,以解决上述问题。为提高用户访问数据的可靠性,即在出现网络连接中断时使用户能够在离线情况下继续操作且不会丢失数据,该模型在移动终端提供语义缓存功能,并能在连接恢复时立即执行被滞后的操作。  相似文献

This paper proposes the mobile forensic reference set (MFReS), a mobile forensic investigation procedure and a tool for mobile forensics that we developed. The MFReS consists of repositories, databases, and services that can easily retrieve data from a database, which can be used to effectively classify meaningful data related to crime, among numerous data types in mobile devices. Mobile data consist of system data, application data, and multimedia data according to characteristics and format. We have developed a mobile forensic process that can effectively analyze information from installed applications and user behavior through these data. In particular, our tool can be useful for investigators because it can analyze the log files of all applications (apps) and analyze behavior based on timeline, geodata, and other characteristics. Our research can contribute to the study of mobile forensic support systems and suggest the direction of mobile data analysis tool development.  相似文献

Mobile data communications have evolved as the number of third generation (3G) subscribers has increased. The evolution has triggered an increase in the use of mobile devices, such as mobile phones, to conduct mobile commerce and mobile shopping on the mobile web. There are fewer products to browse on the mobile web; hence, one‐to‐one marketing with product recommendations is important. Typical collaborative filtering (CF) recommendation systems make recommendations to potential customers based on the purchase behaviour of customers with similar preferences. However, this method may suffer from the so‐called sparsity problem, which means there may not be sufficient similar users because the user‐item rating matrix is sparse. In mobile shopping environments, the features of users' mobile phones provide different functionalities for using mobile services; thus, the features may be used to identify users with similar purchase behaviour. In this paper, we propose a mobile phone feature (MPF)‐based hybrid method to resolve the sparsity issue of the typical CF method in mobile environments. We use the features of mobile phones to identify users' characteristics and then cluster users into groups with similar interests. The hybrid method combines the MPF‐based method and a preference‐based method that uses association rule mining to extract recommendation rules from user groups and make recommendations. Our experiment results show that the proposed hybrid method performs better than other recommendation methods.  相似文献

Mobile devices are becoming increasingly integrated into our society. In addition to entertaining people with applications like pervasive games, mobile devices can also help to address cognitive challenges people face in the real world. This paper, by drawing on research findings from cognitive psychology and geography, explores a design to use mobile VR to help people overcome one cognitive barrier in navigation, which is to establish the correspondence between 2D spatial information found in maps and 3D entities they perceive from the real world. The design offers users multi-format, multi-scale, and semantic (M2S) maps, ranging from 2D maps to 3D immersive environments, and helps users to connect 2D maps to the real world through 3D environments which are equipped with semantic representation and animation techniques. Consequently, users can apply various kinds of spatial knowledge, 2D or 3D, in understanding the real world as well as assisting in navigation. This research enhances the design repertoire of mobile VR, and suggests a way to integrate virtual environments into people’s real-world life by examining the cognitive implications of 3D models on users’ activities.  相似文献

Mobile devices have been used for at least 5 years in the oil and gas industry. The interaction-design challenge is to develop a holistic view of operator–device interaction in hazardous areas to ensure that this mobile technology best serves the goals of both its end users and the oil and gas organizations. Introducing mobile devices can change the environment, the workers and even the industry’s objectives. In this paper, we provided insights into work practices and mobile-device use at two Norwegian natural-gas processing plants. Using methods inspired by ethnographic and interaction-design research, we investigated how operators used their mobile equipment in the field, and we explored the extent to which mobile-device use improved procedures and satisfied users’ needs. In contrast to many other studies on mobile-device use, this study drew upon empirical observations of real operations in hazardous environments.  相似文献

无线PKI是WAP Forum提出的用于保护无线通信安全的协议。通过使用WPKI,手持设备客户端能够利用公开密钥技术来保护数据的保密性和完整性。由于手持设备存储容量和计算速度都相当受限,只有少量的手持设备能流畅的完成WPKI所必须的计算任务。即使采用了具有强计算能力的手持设备,用户也仅能与采用了WPKI技术的部分服务器进行安全通信。手持设备用户仍然无法和Internet上的任意用户之间建立可靠的连接。通过对现有的无线PKI系统进行分析,提出了无线PKI的一种可选的运行方式。新的运行方式将客户端难以承担的计算任务移植到可信安全代理服务器端,并采用密码协议保证安全代理的正确运行。新协议降低了WPKI框架对无线手持设备的计算和存储能力的要求,同时系统的安全性也得到了进一步的保障。而无线手持设备用户也能够和Internet上的用户进行安全的通信。  相似文献

随着手机、电脑等移动设备的普遍使用,人们越来越习惯于用智能设备存储个人信息。但近些年来,由于移动设备丢失导致的用户隐私泄露事件屡见不鲜,如何实现互联网云环境下身份认证以及信息安全性的提高已经成为人们极为关注的问题。基于这个问题本文提出了一种访问策略的更新,设计动态演化的隐式重认证方法,使得智能终端能够持续地识别用户是否合法,对抗恶意用户的模拟攻击,防止未授权用户造成数据泄露。通过分析及研究以期为相关工作者提供一定的帮助。  相似文献

The use of mobile devices in grid environments may have two interaction aspects: devices are considered as users of grid resources or as grid resources providers. Due to the limitation constraints on energy and processing capacity of mobile devices, their integration into the Grid is difficult. In this paper, we investigate the cooperation among mobile devices to balance the energy consumption and computation workloads. Mobile devices can have different roles such as buyer devices and seller devices. In the mobile grid, the energies of mobile devices are uneven, energy-poor devices can exploit other devices with spare energy. Our model consists of two actors: A buyer device agent represents the benefits of mobile buyer device that intends to purchase energy from other devices. A seller device agent represents the profits of mobile seller device that is willing to sell spare energy to other devices. The objective of optimal energy allocation in mobile grid is to maximize the utility of the system without exceeding the energy capacity, expense budget and the deadline. A collaboration algorithm among mobile agents for efficient energy allocation is proposed. In the simulation, the performance evaluation of collaboration algorithm among mobile agents is conducted.  相似文献

We show how modern mobile phones (Weiser's tabs) can interact with their environment, especially large situated displays (Weiser's boards). Smart phones' emerging capabilities are fueling a rise in the use of mobile phones as input devices to such resources as situated displays, vending machines, and home appliances. Mobile phones' prevalence gives them great potential to be the default physical interface for ubiquitous computing applications. We survey interaction techniques that use mobile phones as input devices to ubiquitous computing environments. We use smart phone to describe an enhanced mobile phone. Our analysis blurs the line between smart phones and PDAs such as the Palm Pilot because the feature sets continue to converge.  相似文献

Mobile grid is a branch of grid computing that incorporates mobile devices into the grid infrastructure. It poses new challenges because mobile devices are typically resource-constrained and exhibit unique characteristics such as instability in network connections. New scheduling strategies are imperative in mobile grid to efficiently utilize the devices. This paper presents a scheduling algorithm that considers dynamic properties of mobile devices such as availability, reliability, maintainability, and usage pattern in mobile grid environments. In particular, usage patterns caused by voluntarily or involuntarily losing a connection, such as switching off the device or a network interruption could be important criteria for choosing the best resource to execute a job. The experimental results show that our scheduling algorithm provides superior performance in terms of execution time, as compared to the other methods that do not consider usage pattern. Throughout the experiments, we found it essential to consider usage pattern for improving performance in the mobile grid.  相似文献

Mobile devices are equipped with increasing processing power and sensing capabilities, and mobile services can benefit from these features to provide a more personalized and context-aware experience to final users. To efficiently collect and deliver context information, a proper architecture is required, where heterogeneous context information can be processed to provide higher-level context information, context data are represented uniformly, and applications can process context data with high-level queries. This paper fulfils this goal of interoperability and domain independence by defining a framework for context data management relying on open standards (XMPP and REST), acting as an enabler for third-party context-aware applications; other main novelties of our work are the definition of a ContextML for standard context data representation, and a Context Query Language (CQL) to access context information based on high-level data filtering.  相似文献

This paper deals with the Mobile Browsing Explorer (Mobrex) to give analysts a set of interactive visualizations that highlight various aspects of how users browse an information space. Here, we describe the tool and demonstrate its support of a user study of three browsing techniques for mobile maps. Although we mainly focus here on PDAs and mobile map browsing, Mobrex can easily support analysts studying user interaction with other information spaces and other devices, including mobile phones and desktop computers.  相似文献

An unheard of growth in mobile data traffic has drawn attention from academia and industry. Mobile cloud computing is an emerging computing paradigm combining cloud computing and mobile networks to alleviate resource-constrained limitations of mobile devices, which can greatly improve network quality of service and efficiency to make good use of available network resource. Mobile cloud computing not only inherits the advantages of strong computing capacity and massive storage of cloud computing, but also overcomes the time and geographical restrictions, bringing benefits for mobile users to offload complex computation to powerful cloud servers for execution anytime and anywhere. To this end, an optimal task workflow scheduling scheme is proposed for the mobile devices, based on the dynamic voltage and frequency scaling technique and the whale optimization algorithm. Through considering three factors: task execution position, task execution sequence, and operating voltage and frequency of mobile devices, this study makes a tradeoff between performance and energy consumption by solving the joint optimization for task completion time and energy consumption simultaneously. Finally, a series of extensive simulation results has demonstrated and verified the scheme has distinguished performance in terms of efficiency and operational cost, providing feasible solutions to similar optimization problems of mobile cloud computing.  相似文献

Mobile crowd sensing (MCS) represents one of the most promising approaches for improving life quality of individuals with sensing and computing devices. MCS is playing a more and more important role in various fields of service, such as traffic monitoring and commercial advertisement. Security and privacy of communication in MCS attract increasing attention from the academia and industry since the sensing data are usually sensitive for users. Some users worry about the leakage of their private information when they share their data to the third parties. To address this issue, in this paper, we propose a practical blacklist-based anonymous authentication scheme in which users can enjoy an anonymous environment and share their information without worrying about any information leakage. Security analysis shows that our scheme can achieve anonymity, blacklistability, nonrepudiation and unlinkability. Performance evaluation demonstrates that our scheme is more efficient in terms of computation overhead compared with the existing works.  相似文献

The context of mobility raises many issues for geospatial applications providing location-based services. Mobile device limitations, such as small user interface footprint and pen input whilst in motion, result in information overload on such devices and interfaces which are difficult to navigate and interact with. This has become a major issue as mobile GIS applications are now being used by a wide group of users, including novice users such as tourists, for whom it is essential to provide easy-to-use applications. Despite this, comparatively little research has been conducted to address the mobility problem. We are particularly concerned with the limited interaction techniques available to users of mobile GIS which play a primary role in contributing to the complexity of using such an application whilst mobile. As such, our research focuses on multimodal interfaces as a means to present users with a wider choice of modalities for interacting with mobile GIS applications. Multimodal interaction is particularly advantageous in a mobile context, enabling users of location-based applications to choose the mode of input that best suits their current task and location. The focus of this article concerns a comprehensive user study which demonstrates the benefits of multimodal interfaces for mobile geospatial applications.  相似文献

移动边缘计算将边缘服务器部署到无线局域网侧,将部分计算密集任务卸载到边缘云服务器,从而缩短计算服务与移动设备的距离,降低数据传输成本.考虑移动边缘计算(MEC)环境下的计算任务分配问题,通过探索用户体验敏感度的异质性,建立CPU运算周期数-数据量-价格的三元组合约模型,提出基于合约理论的计算任务分配策略,以最大化云服务商的利润为目标,同时保证移动用户的非负效益.分别讨论完整信息场景下和统计信息场景下的最优合约设计策略.仿真结果验证了所提出方案可以有效实现计算任务的卸载.  相似文献

Mobile crowd sensing, as a new paradigm, means that mobile users equipped with smart devices to solve large-scale mobile sensing tasks through wireless communication. Data transmission schemes with opportunistic network in mobile crowd sensing have attracted widespread attention recently, which attempt to reach high delivery and low consumption. However, most transmission schemes resort to users’ trajectory and connection history that are dynamic and difficult to calculate, causing it so hard to establish stable connection channel. For achieving energy-efficient transmission, an energy-efficient data transmission protocol is proposed in this paper, which deploys static nodes to assist in information transmission based on Archimedes curve. Meanwhile, the significant performance of the proposed protocol is demonstrated through extensive simulations based on the ONE platform.  相似文献
