对流层散射通信是一种利用对流层媒质的不均匀性来实现超视距通信的方式.在分析对流层散射信道的统计特性的基础上,根据WSSUS假设建立了快衰落特性下的散射信道仿真模型,并进行了系统性能的实验仿真.同时通过理论计算,得出了该信道误码率的理论曲线,并与仿真结果进行比较,证明了对流层散射信道模型的合理性,该模型为分析系统的性能提供了一个有效的系统平台. 相似文献

基于对频率非选择性Rayleigh衰落信道中采用ORC(orthogonality restoring combining)技术的MC-CDMA系统误码率下边界的分析,提出了忽略最弱子载波(信道衰减系数最小的子载波)的改进ORC检测方案。仿真结果表明,该方案比传统ORC在性能上有很大提高,比较接近MMSEC技术;如果忽略过多的弱子载波反而会影响用户间扩频码的正交性,引起系统性能恶化。改进方案具有随子载波数线性增长的运算复杂度,是一种比较实用的MC-CDMA系统检测技术。 相似文献

Modern wireless communications require an efficient spectrum usage and high channel capacity and throughput. Multiple-input and multiple-output (MIMO), Linear equalizers, multi-user detection and multicarrier code-division multiple access (MC-CDMA) are possible solutions to achieve spectral efficiency, high channel capacity, eliminate multiple access interference (MAI), eliminate Inter symbol interference (ISI) and robustness against frequency selective fading. In this paper, we combine all these techniques and investigate BER performance. We propose a low complexity receiver structure for Single-input Multiple-output (SIMO) downlink MC-CDMA systems. It employs an interference cancellation scheme to suppress the interference caused by the multipath fading channel. Also, the proposed scheme is developed for MIMO MC-CDMA system. The performance analysis of Downlink MIMO MC-CDMA systems with V-BLAST over frequency selective fading channel is investigated under various number of transmit and receive antennas. The simulation results show proposed SIMO equalization with parallel interference cancellation scheme is effective in reducing the ISI and the MAI. It improves the performance significantly and the simulation results show that MIMO MC-CDMA with V-BLAST multi-user detection provides high data rate and the BER significant improvement. 相似文献

Rapid time variations of the mobile communication channel have a dramatic effect on the performance of multicarrier modulation. This paper models the Doppler spread and computes its effect on the bit error rate (BER) for multicarrier code division multiple access (MC-CDMA) transmission and compares it to orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (OFDM). Also, we evaluate the transmission capacity per subcarrier to quantify the potential of MC-CDMA and (coded-) OFDM. We focus on linear receivers, in particular those using the minimum mean-square error (MMSE) criterion. Our channel and system models allow the computation of analytical performance results. It has been revealed that direct sequence code-division multiple access (DS-CDMA) can achieve a good bit-error rate (BER) performance, comparable to multicarrier CDMA (MC-CDMA), by using coherent frequency-domain equalization (FDE) instead of coherent Rake combining. However, coherent FDE requires accurate channel estimation. Pilot-assisted channel estimation is a practical solution, but its accuracy is sensitive to the Doppler spread. In this paper, a frequency-domain differential encoding and detection scheme is proposed for a DS-CDMA mobile radio. Joint frequency-domain differential detection and equalization (FDDDE) based on minimum mean-square error (MMSE) criterion is presented, where a simple decision feedback filter is used to provide a reliable reference signal for MMSE-FDDDE. Also presented is an approximate BER analysis. It is confirmed by both approximate BER analysis and computer simulation that MMSE-FDDDE provides good BER performance close to the coherent MMSE-FDE and shows high robustness against the Doppler spread; it outperforms coherent MMSE-FDE for large Doppler spreads. The proposed MMSE-FDDDE can also be applied to MC-CDMA. A performance comparison between uncoded DS- and MC-CDMA shows that DS-CDMA with MMSE-FDDDE achieves better BER performance than MC-CDMA with MMSE-FDDDE for small spreading factors. 相似文献

In the bit-error rate (BER) analysis of code-division multiple-access (CDMA) systems, a Gaussian approximation is widely used to tackle the multiple access interference (MAI), although it does not always offer satisfactory accuracy. This paper investigates the BER performance of synchronous multicarrier (MC) CDMA systems over Nakagami-m-fading channels in a different way. We present an accurate and unified BER analysis for synchronous MC-CDMA systems. To facilitate our analysis, we assume a synchronous uplink, whose BER performance can be intuitively viewed as a lower BER bound of the more realistic asynchronous MC-CDMA. The basic idea is that, by using the Gauss-Chebyshev quadrature (GCQ) rule to perform inverse Laplace transform, an accurate BER can be numerically obtained from the moment generating function (MAG) of the output decision variable at a receiver, without any assumption about the MAI distribution. First, signals on all subcarriers of MC-CDMA systems are assumed to experience independent fading. Two standard diversity combining techniques, equal gain combining (EGC) and maximal ratio combining (MRC), are employed. The BER performance in both downlink and synchronous uplink is analyzed. We then consider a more general system model, in which signals on different subcarriers undergo correlated fading. The asymptotic (error floor) performance of downlink MC-CDMA with MRC is studied. In particular, we investigate the effects of spreading sequences and the delay spread of the channel on the system performance. Numerical examples are provided to show the main results of this paper. The accuracy of the GCQ and MGF based solution is verified by different approaches such as Monte Carlo integration and the exact residue method.
