In this paper, we study thermal quantum correlations as quantum discord and entanglement in bipartite system imposed by external magnetic field with Herring–Flicker coupling, i.e., \(J(R)=1.642 e^{-2 R} R^{5/2}+O(R^{2}e^{-2R})\). The Herring–Flicker coupling strength is the function of R, which is the distance between spins and systems carry XXX Heisenberg interaction. By tuning the coupling distance R, temperature and magnetic field quantum correlations can be scaled in the bipartite system. We find the long sustainable behavior of quantum discord in comparison with entanglement over the coupling distance R. We also investigate the situations, where entanglement totally dies but quantum discord exists in the system.  相似文献

Concurrence, as one of the entanglement measures, is a useful tool to characterize quantum entanglement in various quantum systems. However, the computation of the concurrence involves difficult optimizations and only for the case of two qubits, an exact formula was found. We investigate the concurrence of four-qubit quantum states and derive analytical lower bound of concurrence using the multiqubit monogamy inequality. It is shown that this lower bound is able to improve the existing bounds. This approach can be generalized to arbitrary qubit systems. We present an exact formula of concurrence for some mixed quantum states. For even-qubit states, we derive an improved lower bound of concurrence using a monogamy equality for qubit systems. At the same time, we show that a multipartite state is k-nonseparable if the multipartite concurrence is larger than a constant related to the value of k, the qudit number and the dimension of the subsystems. Our results can be applied to detect the multipartite k-nonseparable states.  相似文献

We investigate teleportation and controlled teleportation of an arbitrary $N$ -qubit state by using a multipartite entanglement channel. By establishing one-to-one correspondence between an $N$ -qubit quantum state and a high-dimension quantum state, we construct a general quantum channel for quantum teleportation and controlled teleportation of an arbitrary $N$ -qubit state. Furthermore, we generalize the definition of bipartite maximally entangled state for a multi-qubit system, and show that our teleportation protocols can be utilized not only to construct a variety of genuine multipartite entangled states, but also to identify and explore the capability of multipartite entanglement for quantum teleportation and controlled teleportation.  相似文献

Using a graphical presentation of the spin S one-dimensional Valence Bond Solid (VBS) state, based on the representation theory of the \({\textit{SU}}(2)\) Lie algebra of spins, we compute the spectrum of a mixed-state reduced density matrix. This mixed state of two blocks of spins A and B is obtained by tracing out the spins outside A and B, in the pure VBS state density matrix. We find in particular that the negativity of the mixed state is nonzero only for adjacent subsystems. The method introduced here can be generalized to the computation of entanglement properties in Levin–Wen models, that possess a similar algebraic structure to the VBS state in the ground state.  相似文献

The first step of quantum measurement procedure is known as premeasurement, during which correlation is established between the system and the measurement apparatus. Such correlation may be classical or nonclassical in nature. One compelling nonclassical correlation is entanglement, a useful resource for various quantum information theoretic protocols. Quantifying the amount of entanglement, generated during quantum measurement, therefore, seeks importance from practical ground, and this is the central issue of the present paper. Interestingly, for a two-level quantum system, we obtain that the amount of entanglement, measured in term of negativity, generated in premeasurement process can be quantified by two factors: skew information, which quantifies the uncertainty in the measurement of an observable not commuting with some conserved quantity of the system, and mixedness parameter of the system’s initial state.  相似文献

We study on the tripartite entanglement dynamics when each party is initially entangled with other parties, but they locally interact with their own Markovian or non-Markovian environment. First we consider three GHZ-type initial states, all of which have GHZ-symmetry provided that the parameters are chosen appropriately. However, this symmetry is broken due to the effect of environment. The corresponding \(\pi \)-tangles, one of the tripartite entanglement measures, are analytically computed at arbitrary time. For Markovian case while the tripartite entanglement for type I exhibits an entanglement sudden death, the dynamics for the remaining cases decays normally in time with the half-life rule. For non-Markovian case the revival phenomenon of entanglement occurs after complete disappearance of entanglement. We also consider two W-type initial states. For both cases the \(\pi \)-tangles are analytically derived. The revival phenomenon also occurs in this case. On the analytical ground the robustness or fragility issue against the effect of environment is examined for both GHZ-type and W-type initial states.  相似文献

The entanglement-assisted stabilizer formalism overcomes the dual-containing constraint of standard stabilizer formalism for constructing quantum codes. This allows ones to construct entanglement-assisted quantum error-correcting codes (EAQECCs) from arbitrary linear codes by pre-shared entanglement between the sender and the receiver. However, it is not easy to determine the number c of pre-shared entanglement pairs required to construct an EAQECC from arbitrary linear codes. In this paper, let q be a prime power, we aim to construct new q-ary EAQECCs from constacyclic codes. Firstly, we define the decomposition of the defining set of constacyclic codes, which transforms the problem of determining the number c into determining a subset of the defining set of underlying constacyclic codes. Secondly, five families of non-Hermitian dual-containing constacyclic codes are discussed. Hence, many entanglement-assisted quantum maximum distance separable codes with \(c\le 7\) are constructed from them, including ones with minimum distance \(d\ge q+1\). Most of these codes are new, and some of them have better performance than ones obtained in the literature.  相似文献

In this scheme, based on the weak cross-Kerr nonlinearity, an hyperconcentration protocol for the arbitrary partially hyperentangled N-particle Greenberger–Horne–Zeilinger (GHZ) state is presented. Considering the N photons initially in the nonmaximally hyperentangled GHZ state in which photons are entangled simultaneously in the polarization and the spatial-mode degrees of freedom, we can obtain the maximally hyperentangled N-particle GHZ state by the projection measurements on the additional photons. Numerical simulation demonstrates that by iterating the entanglement concentration process, we can improve the success probability of the scheme. Furthermore, we discuss the feasibility of the setups of the protocol, concluding that the present protocol is feasible with existing experimental technology. All these advantages make this scheme more efficient and more convenient in quantum communication.  相似文献

Quantum networks with independent sources of entanglement (hidden variables) and nodes that execute joint quantum measurements can create strong quantum correlations spanning the breadth of the network. Understanding of these correlations has to the present been limited to standard Bell experiments with one source of shared randomness, bilocal arrangements having two local sources of shared randomness, and multilocal networks with tree topologies. We introduce here a class of quantum networks with ring topologies comprised of subsystems each with its own internally shared source of randomness. We prove a Bell inequality for these networks, and to demonstrate violations of this inequality, we focus on ring networks with three-qubit subsystems. Three qubits are capable of two non-equivalent types of entanglement, GHZ and W-type. For rings of any number N of three-qubit subsystems, our inequality is violated when the subsystems are each internally GHZ-entangled. This violation is consistently stronger when N is even. This quantitative even-odd difference for GHZ entanglement becomes extreme in the case of W-type entanglement. When the ring size N is even, the presence of W-type entanglement is successfully detected; when N is odd, the inequality consistently fails to detect its presence.  相似文献

In this paper, a novel multi-party quantum private comparison protocol with a semi-honest third party (TP) is proposed based on the entanglement swapping of d-level cat states and d-level Bell states. Here, TP is allowed to misbehave on his own, but will not conspire with any party. In our protocol, n parties employ unitary operations to encode their private secrets and can compare the equality of their private secrets within one time execution of the protocol. Our protocol can withstand both the outside attacks and the participant attacks on the condition that none of the QKD methods is adopted to generate keys for security. One party cannot obtain other parties’ secrets except for the case that their secrets are identical. The semi-honest TP cannot learn any information about these parties’ secrets except the end comparison result on whether all private secrets from n parties are equal.  相似文献

We develop a generalized teleportation scheme based on quantum walks with two coins. For an unknown qubit state, we use two-step quantum walks on the line and quantum walks on the cycle with four vertices for teleportation. For any d-dimensional states, quantum walks on complete graphs and quantum walks on d-regular graphs can be used for implementing teleportation. Compared with existing d-dimensional states teleportation, prior entangled state is not required and the necessary maximal entanglement resource is generated by the first step of quantum walk. Moreover, two projective measurements with d elements are needed by quantum walks on the complete graph, rather than one joint measurement with \(d^2\) basis states. Quantum walks have many applications in quantum computation and quantum simulations. This is the first scheme of realizing communicating protocol with quantum walks, thus opening wider applications.  相似文献

We use concurrence as an entanglement measure and experimentally demonstrate the entanglement classification of arbitrary three-qubit pure states on a nuclear magnetic resonance quantum information processor. Computing the concurrence experimentally under three different bipartitions, for an arbitrary three-qubit pure state, reveals the entanglement class of the state. The experiment involves measuring the expectation values of Pauli operators. This was achieved by mapping the desired expectation values onto the local z magnetization of a single qubit. We tested the entanglement classification protocol on twenty-seven different generic states and successfully detected their entanglement class. Full quantum state tomography was performed to construct experimental tomographs of each state and negativity was calculated from them, to validate the experimental results.  相似文献

We present a scalable quantum-bus-based device for generating the entanglement on photons in distant superconducting resonators (SRs). The device is composed of some one-dimensional (1D) SRs \(r_j\) coupled to the quantum bus (another common resonator R) in its different positions assisted by superconducting quantum interferometer devices which are used to tune the coupling strengths between \(r_j\) and R. By using the technique for catching and releasing a photon state in a 1D SR, it can work as an entanglement generator or a node in quantum communication. To demonstrate the performance of this device, we propose a one-step scheme to generate high-fidelity Bell state on photons in two distant SRs. It works in the dispersive regime of \(r_j\) and R, which enables us to extend it to generate high-fidelity multi-Bell states on different resonator pairs simultaneously.  相似文献

We study a two-qutrit system which is described by the Bose–Hubbard Hamiltonian with two external magnetic fields. The entanglement (through the negativity) and quantum correlation (through the geometric discord) between the qutrits are calculated as functions of the magnetic field (B), the temperature (T), the linear and nonlinear coupling constants among two spins (J and K). Then, we compare the effect of these parameters on entanglement and quantum correlation of this system. For some values of system parameters, we show that the negativity is zero while, the geometric discord is nonzero. Moreover, we investigate the effect of finite external magnetic fields direction on these measures. This study leads to some new and interesting results as well.  相似文献

So far, very little is known about local indistinguishability of multipartite orthogonal product bases except some special cases. We first give a method to construct an orthogonal product basis with n parties each holding a \(\frac{1}{2}(n+1)\)-dimensional system, where \(n\ge 5\) and n is odd. The proof of the local indistinguishability of the basis exhibits that it is a sufficient condition for the local indistinguishability of an orthogonal multipartite product basis that all the positive operator-valued measure elements of each party can only be proportional to the identity operator to make further discrimination feasible. Then, we construct a set of n-partite product states, which contains only 2n members and cannot be perfectly distinguished by local operations and classic communication. All the results lead to a better understanding of the phenomenon of quantum nonlocality without entanglement in multipartite and high-dimensional quantum systems.  相似文献

The entanglement-assisted formalism generalizes the standard stabilizer formalism, which can transform arbitrary classical linear codes into entanglement-assisted quantum error-correcting codes (EAQECCs) by using pre-shared entanglement between the sender and the receiver. In this work, we construct six classes of q-ary entanglement-assisted quantum MDS (EAQMDS) codes based on classical negacyclic MDS codes by exploiting two or more pre-shared maximally entangled states. We show that two of these six classes q-ary EAQMDS have minimum distance more larger than \(q+1\). Most of these q-ary EAQMDS codes are new in the sense that their parameters are not covered by the codes available in the literature.  相似文献

We consider optimization problems of the form (S, cost), where S is a clause set over Boolean variables x 1?...?x n , with an arbitrary cost function \(\mathit{cost}\colon \mathbb{B}^n \rightarrow \mathbb{R}\), and the aim is to find a model A of S such that cost(A) is minimized. Here we study the generation of proofs of optimality in the context of branch-and-bound procedures for such problems. For this purpose we introduce \(\mathtt{DPLL_{BB}}\), an abstract DPLL-based branch-and-bound algorithm that can model optimization concepts such as cost-based propagation and cost-based backjumping. Most, if not all, SAT-related optimization problems are in the scope of \(\mathtt{DPLL_{BB}}\). Since many of the existing approaches for solving these problems can be seen as instances, \(\mathtt{DPLL_{BB}}\) allows one to formally reason about them in a simple way and exploit the enhancements of \(\mathtt{DPLL_{BB}}\) given here, in particular its uniform method for generating independently verifiable optimality proofs.  相似文献

We study the degree of entanglement of arbitrary superpositions of mn photon-added coherent states (PACS) \(\mathinner {|{\psi }\rangle } \propto u \mathinner {|{{\alpha },m}\rangle }\mathinner {|{{\beta },n }\rangle }+ v \mathinner {|{{\beta },n}\rangle }\mathinner {|{{\alpha },m}\rangle }\) using the concurrence and obtain the general conditions for maximal entanglement. We show that photon addition process can be identified as an entanglement enhancer operation for superpositions of coherent states (SCS). Specifically for the known bipartite positive SCS: \(\mathinner {|{\psi }\rangle } \propto \mathinner {|{\alpha }\rangle }_a\mathinner {|{-\alpha }\rangle }_b + \mathinner {|{-\alpha }\rangle }_a\mathinner {|{\alpha }\rangle }_b \) whose entanglement tends to zero for \(\alpha \rightarrow 0\), can be maximal if al least one photon is added in a subsystem. A full family of maximally entangled PACS is also presented. We also analyzed the decoherence effects in the entangled PACS induced by a simple depolarizing channel . We find that robustness against depolarization is increased by adding photons to the coherent states of the superposition. We obtain the dependence of the critical depolarization \(p_{\text {crit}}\) for null entanglement as a function of \(m,n, \alpha \) and \(\beta \).  相似文献

Stochastic discrete event systems (SDES) are systems whose evolution is described by the occurrence of a sequence of events, where each event has a defined probability of occurring from each state. The diagnosability problem for SDES is the problem of determining the conditions under which occurrences of a fault can be detected in finite time with arbitrarily high probability. (IEEE Trans Autom Control 50(4):476–492 2005) proposed a class of SDES and proposed two definitions of stochastic diagnosability for SDES called A- and A A-diagnosability and reported a necessary and sufficient condition for A-diagnosability, but only a sufficient condition for A A-diagnosability. In this paper, we provide a condition that is both necessary and sufficient for determining whether or not an SDES is A A-diagnosable. We also show that verification of A A-diagnosability is equivalent to verification of the termination of the cumulative sum (CUSUM) procedure for hidden Markov models, and that, for a specific class of SDES called fault-immediate systems, the sequential probability ratio test (SPRT) minimizes the expected number of observable events required to distinguish between the normal and faulty modes.  相似文献

The restoration of three-qubit entanglement is investigated under the amplitude damping (AD) decoherence with environment-assisted measurement (EAM) and reversal weak measurement (RWM). The results show that there exists a critical strength of RWM dependent of the initial three-qubit entangled state under a given damping rate of the AD channel, i.e., if the selected RWM strength is higher than the critical strength, the entanglement will be reduced compared to one without RWM. Some three-qubit entangled states cannot be restored. We calculated the restorable condition of the initial entanglement and illustrated the valid area for three-qubit GHZ state and W state. Fortunately, an optimal strength of RWM corresponding to a certain damping rate of AD channels can be found within the valid area for a restorable initial state, by which a noise-infected entanglement can be restored to its maximum value. Particularly, when three qubits of W state are subjected to their respective AD channels, due to the symmetry of three qubits, the W state cannot be decohered provided the EAM is successful, and no RWM is required. This is beneficial to quantum communication over the noisy channel. Applying this protection regime to tripartite QSS and taking appropriate initial entangled state as the quantum channel, the fidelity of the shared state can be improved to the maximum 1 probabilistically. Thus, the decoherence effect of the noisy channels can be significantly suppressed or even avoided.  相似文献
