正Holland Green住宅建筑集合体是由OMA与AlliesMorrison联合设计的英联邦学院改建项目。该历史建筑于1962年落成,标志着从大英帝国到英联邦的过渡进程。2008年3月,政府举办国际竞赛,旨在探索主展厅的新功能,并将行政翼楼更换为住宅功能以筹募主展厅的翻新资金,结果OMA在竞赛中脱颖而出。在O M A的方案中,拆除行政大楼可视作一次解放主展厅空间的机遇,使其成为"公园的帐篷",与原有的设计意图契合。规划的住宅建筑各自独处于公园景观中,且面向展览大厅,旨在将大厅融入这一系列"建筑集合体"中。在该集合体中,每个建筑都以各自合适的尺度来呼应周边建筑的体量;又以平缓、直角的几何形态与极其夸张的展览大厅屋顶结构形成鲜明对比。新展览大厅的 相似文献

The knowledge of the service life and durability of building components is paramount to sustainable analysis and decision making since it allows a more rational management of the maintenance of building and provides data for life cycle analysis procedures. Nevertheless, predicting the service life of a building or its components is a complex process with which a number of variables are associated. The main difficulties associated with service life prediction are related to the complexity of the degradation phenomena and to the lack of understanding of degradation factors and mechanisms. This paper aims at establishing a model for the service life prediction of rendered facades using a Takagi–Sugeno fuzzy model. The models proposed include the variables that influence the degradation of rendered facades (render age, render type, building height, facade orientation, exposure to damp, and facade protection level). In this study, the degradation condition of 100 case studies located in Portugal is analyzed based only on in situ visual inspections. The proposed models are able to describe appropriately the degradation of rendered facades and to predict the service life of the sample analyzed. 相似文献

This paper studies the optimal control of a commercial building's thermostatic load during off-peak hours as an ancillary service to the power grid. It provides an algorithmic framework that commercial buildings can implement to cost-effectively increase their electricity demand at night while they are unoccupied, instead of using standard inflexible setpoint control. Consequently, there is minimal or no impact on user comfort, while the building manager gains an additional income stream from providing the ancillary service. By introducing a novel benefit-cost ratio of ancillary service payment to night-time price of electricity, we are able to study the building's capability to provide a service that is both useful to the power grid and profitable to the building manager. Numerical results show that there can be an economic incentive to participate even if the payment rate for the ancillary service is less than the price of electricity. 相似文献

Most engineering systems used in maintenance strategies must consider deterioration and seismic structural damage. To identify the effects of deterioration and earthquakes simultaneously on structural performance, this study applies an integral simulation method. Compared with that of previous studies, the feature of the proposed method is its analysis of the time-dependent structural capacity of a deteriorating reinforced concrete (RC) building and the simulation of life-cycle earthquake events within a specified service period, while considering cumulative damage induced by deterioration and earthquakes. In addition, the proposed assessment method is applied to derive the reliability-based service life of a deteriorating RC building located in a region with high seismic hazard. Briefly, for deteriorating RC buildings, the proposed reliability-based service life assessment method provides useful information related to maintenance based on both serviceability and safety. 相似文献
