The precipitation of (B2) particles at intermediate temperatures, between 760°C and 1050°C, is investigated in a fully lamellar TiAl-WMoSi alloy. The particles, having a thin-plate shape, usually precipitate on the 2 side of 2/ interfaces at low aging temperatures in an uneven two-dimensional growth mode. While those formed at higher aging temperatures, growing extensively within the 2 plate and into the adjacent lamellae, have an ellipsoid shape. The growth of particles at low aging temperatures yields an activation energy of about 366 kJ/mol. It is suggested that at low aging temperatures the growth of particles proceeds via an 2 precipitation process controlled by diffusion of W and Mo along the /2 and / interfaces.  相似文献

We developed the EPMA mapping method of small -AlFeSi(Al8.3Fe2Si) and -AlFeSi(Al8.9Fe2Si2) particles in the billets of Al-Mg-Si alloys such as AA6063 alloys. To discriminate between -AlFeSi and -AlFeSi particles we used the relative X-ray intensities of Fe/Si ratio, the I Fe/I Si ratio, instead of the Fe/Si mass ratio. To obtain the I Fe/I Si ratio, we used a Monte Carlo method. In this study, using this method the mapping of -AlFeSi and -AlFeSi particles in the surface layer of AA6063 billets after the heat treatment (for 2 h at 580°C) was done. Namely, the distribution of -AlFeSi and -AlFeSi particles of zones from the billet surface to a depth of 800 m was measured. Results showed the zone from the surface to a depth of 200 m was occupied mainly by -AlFeSi particles and the zone from a depth of 200 m toward the center was occupied mainly by -AlFeSi particles. From these results, it was found that if we remove zones from the surface to a depth of 200 m, we can remove the majority of the -AlFeSi particles, and thus improve the quality of anodizing performance of Al-Mg-Si alloys extrusions.  相似文献

The hydroxyapatite (HAp) powder was prepared by the ultrasonic spray-pyrolysis technique; the characterization of the resulting powders was performed. Five kinds of the starting solutions with the Ca/P ratio of 1.67 were prepared by mixing Ca(NO3)2, (NH4)2HPO4 and HNO3; the concentrations of Ca2+ and PO4 3– were in the ranges of 0.10 to 0.90 mol·dm–3 and 0.06 to 0.54 mol·dm–3, respectively. These solutions were sprayed into the heating zone to prepare the HAp powders. The heating zone was composed of two electric furnaces; the lower furnace was used for the evaporation of the solvent from the droplets (300–500°C) and the upper furnace for the pyrolysis of the precipitated metal salts (750–900°C). The easily sinterable HAp powder was prepared by spray-pyrolysing the solution with Ca2+ (0.50 mol·dm–3) and PO4 3– (0.30 mol·dm–3) at the temperatures of 800°C (the upper furnaces) and 400°C (the lower furnaces). The resulting powder was composed of the spherical particles with diameters of 1 m or below. Even without the calcination and grinding operations, the relative densities of the compacts fired at 1150 and 1200°C for 5 h attained maxima 95%. The microstructure of the sintered compacts appeared to be uniform; the average grain size was 3 m. The activation energies for the grain growth of the sintered HAp compacts were 120 to 147 kJ · mol–1 · K–1.  相似文献

Single crystals of the CuAlFe alloy, containing 14.5 wt% Al and 2.2 wt% Fe were subjected toin situ tensile experiment using straining attachment in a 1 MV electron microscope. Loadelongation curves were obtained for three foil plane/tensile direction orientations: (001) [0 1 0], (0 0 1) [1 1 0] and (1 1 0) [¯1 1 2]. Each crystal was subjected to two cycles of pseudoelastic deformation up to maximum 2% strain, showing almost complete shape recovery. Structure observations and electron diffraction pattern indicated that during deformation of samples of (0 0 1) [1 1 0] and (1 1 0) [1 1 2] orientations, formation of 1 martensite was observed and only at later stages narrow needles of 1 nucleate in front of 1. During pseudoelastic deformation in the (0 0 1) [1 0 0] direction, martensite forms as a mixture of narrow plates possessing either 2H or 18R structures. The following crystallographic relationship between the parent phase and both types of martensite was observed: [1 00] 1 [101] 1 and (0 0 1) 1 (0 1 0)1;(0 0 1) 1 (0 1 0) 1 and [1 1 0] 1 [0 0 1] 1. From the character of sidebands reflections presence of 1 0 1 1 0¯1 static displacement waves was inferred.  相似文献

Ageing characteristics of an extruded eutectoid Zn-Al based alloy were investigated using X-ray diffraction and scanning electron microscopy techniques. The extruded alloy consisted of Al rich phase and Zn rich E and phases. The original cast eutectoid Zn-Al alloy was extruded at 250 °C. Both supersaturated s and s phase decomposed during extrusion and appeared as fine and coarse lamellar structures. The E and phases particles formed in the original interdendritic region. It was found that two Zn rich phases E and decomposed sequentially during ageing at 170, 140 °C. The decomposition of the E phase occurred as a discontinuous precipitation in the early stage of ageing and the decomposition of the phase took place in a four phase transformation: + T + in the prolonged ageing. Two typical morphologies of the decomposition of the Zn rich phases E and were distinctive in back-scattered scanning electron microscopy.  相似文献

Multiphase Ni-Al-(Fe)-(Cr)-(Co)-based intermetallics with (B2)- (A1)/(L12), - or - microstructures can exhibit significant room-temperature tensile ductility. In the case of Ni-Al-Cr-based alloys, microstructural development is complicated by the precipitation of -Cr, which can supplant the -phase during ageing of three-phase -/ microstructures. An investigation of the stability, during ageing, of cast Ni-Al-Cr-(Co) alloys with microstructures derived from -/ is reported. In the as-cast condition, the materials investigated consisted of a dendritic matrix containing L10 type martensite and interdendritic /. Extensive intra- and interdendritic -Cr precipitation was also observed. The stability during ageing of the interdendritic / microstructure is also considered and transformation of the L10 martensite is examined.  相似文献

Samples having the nominal composition of Ca3SrAl6SO16 were sintered at 1380 °C and analysed by electron diffraction. The frequent appearances of forbidden and satellite reflections in this compound imply the presence of a number of basal and nonbasal superlattices so that the microstructure of this cement clinker was characterized by various superstructures including one-, two- and even three-dimensional superstructures along the 0 0 1, 1 1 0, 1 1 2, 1 1 4 or 2 2 1, 0 1 3 and 1 2 3 directions with repeat periods of two or three times of that of basic one, respectively, and intergrowth of these. Various domain structures with 90°, 120° and 48.2°, etc., orientation relationships were also detected in these superstructures and the total number of these orientation variants related to the symmetry elements lost in the process of phase transformation, can be predicted according to the conclusions of Van Tendeloo and Amerlinckx, or they are equal to the number of those unique planes in the matrix.  相似文献

The correlations between microstructures and magnetic properties were studied in four Fe-17.5 mass%Cr-2.0 mass%Ni-Xmass%C (X = 0.3–0.6) alloys. Each alloy consisted of ferromagnetic and M23C6 carbide phases by step-annealing at 1053 K and 848 K. The number of the M23C6 carbide particles increased with the carbon content, and this microstructural variation caused a deterioration of the soft magnetic properties. On the other hand, the alloy with 0.3 mass% carbon content consisted of ferromagnetic and paramagnetic retained structures after solution treatment at 1473 K. The amount of the stable structure increased with the carbon content, while the amount of the structure decreased. This microstructural variation caused a decrease in the relative permeability, r, and the stabilization of the paramagnetic property to low temperatures below room temperature. The temperature stability of the r values was closely related to the martensite start temperature, M s. From an equation for the estimation of M s from the chemical compositions of the phase, the M s's of the alloys with 0.3, 0.4, 0.5 and 0.6 mass%C were estimated to be 326, 289, 241 and 216 K respectively. These values were consistent with the M s's expected from the microstructures and temperature dependences of the r values.  相似文献

Acicular -FeOOH particles with a particle length of about 0.35 m and an axial ratio of about 7 were synthesized by the coprecipitation method using the reaction of FeCl2-NaOH. The (Co, Zn)-modified -F2O3 particles were produced by absorbing Co2+ and Zn2+ ions on the surfaces of -FeOOH particles followed by dehydration, reduction and oxidation. The saturation magnetization and thermal stability of the coercivity of (Co, Zn)--Fe2O3 particles were all higher than those of Co--F2O3 particles. For the same (Co+Zn) content, the saturation magnetization of (Co, Zn)--Fe2O3 particles increased with increasing zinc content but the coercivity decreased.  相似文献

Batches of up to 46g of the insensitive explosive 1,3,5-triamino-2,4,6-trinitrobenzene (TATB) have been recrystallized from DMSO in an effort to prepare larger particle-size material for recycling previously-used TATB and also for use in special formulations. The first part of the study investigated the conditions required to shift the particle-size distribution maximum from 50–70 m to several hundred micrometres in diameter. Distributions peaking at 200–246 m were successfully produced by varying the cooldown rate and degree of agitation during cooling. The second part of the study emphasized regeneration of the standard 50–70 m distribution from submicron size (ultrafine TATB) particles. The distributions peaking at 76–88 m, 27–31 m, and 15–17 m, successfully bracketed the target particle sizes, were grown by changing the degree of solution saturation. The choice of saturation temperature for the TATB/DMSO solution was based on earlier small-scale recrystallization and solubility work.  相似文献

Phase decomposition behaviour of liquid-quenched (bcc) type Ti-Cr alloys was investigated by means of transmission electron microscopy and hardness measurements. It was found that decomposition of to 1 (Ti-rich, bcc) + 2 (Ti-lean, bcc) takes place in the intermediate composition range of the Ti-Cr system. This experimental result proves the theoretical prediction made by Menon and Aaronson, but the observed 1 + 2 two-phase field expands towards higher temperatures than the predicted binodal line. The coherent 1 + 2 two-phase state exhibits the so-called 100 modulated structure and it was concluded that the formation of such a structure is a result of spinodal decomposition of the -phase. We obtained time-temperature-transformation (TTT) diagrams of -type Ti-30, 40 and 50 at % Cr alloys. A typical sequence of structural change is coherent 1 + 2 incoherent 1 + 2 incoherent 1 + 2 + grain boundary precipitates stable state of + TiCr2 or + TiCr2. Not all the states in the above sequence appear, depending on alloy composition, liquid-quenching rate and ageing temperature.  相似文献

We have measured the growth rate of single crystal U2D2 solid3He in the superfluid B phase as a function of chemical potential difference between the solid and liquid for temperatures between 0.4 and 0.9 TN. The growth rate was not proportional to , with very slow growth rates for less than about 10 erg/cm3. For larger values of the growth rate depended weakly on temperature and the growth was attributed to a quantum growth mechanism due to screw dislocations. The melting rate was too fast to be measured quantitatively, but was slower at higher temperatures.  相似文献

A scaled equation of state is proposed for real fluids in the critical region which incorporates asymmetry with respect to the critical isochore. Phase transformations and microstructural changes of a furnace cooled eutectoid Zn-Al based alloy were studied during ageing at 100 and 170°C using X-ray diffraction (XRD), scanning electron microscopy (SEM) and transmission electron microscopy (TEM) techniques. Three phase transformations occurred in the furnace cooled eutectoid Zn-Al alloy. The metastable FC phase decomposed during isothermal ageing. The four-phase transformation, + T + followed the discontinuous decomposition of the FC phase. Typical morphologies of the decomposition of the FC and phases were observed in scanning electron microscopy. Decomposition of Al-rich phase was observed during the prolonged ageing by transmission electron microscopy. The different types of decomposition of the different metastable phases dominated at different stages of ageing.  相似文献

The Bethany iron meteorite which is a part of the Gibeon shower is a fine octahedrite with zoned plessite fields of various sizes. The optically irresolvable microstructural details inside the plessitic fields have been studied by transmission electron microscopy, and the crystallographic relationships between the primary kamacite () and the parent taenite (), and between the and particles in the coarse plessite, have been examined using electron diffraction. In the case of primary kamacite the orientation-relationship with was close to the Nishiyama-Wasserman relationship, whereas, for the plessitic , the orientation-relationship with was close to Kurdjumov-Sachs. It was also found that the (111) and (110) planes were not strictly parallel. Additionally, measurements of the composition profile through the zoned plessite have been made using STEM microanalysis technique, and related to microstructure.  相似文献

Chemical vapour deposition (CVD) of the SiH4 + CH4 + H2 system was applied to synthesize-silicon carbide powders in the temperature range 1523 to 1673 K. The powders obtained at 1673 K were single-phase-SiC containing neither free silicon nor free carbon. The powders obtained below 1623 K were composite powders containing free silicon. The carburization ratio (SiC/(SiC + Si)) increased with increasing reaction temperature and total gas flow rate, and with decreasing reactant concentration. The average particle sizes measured by TEM ranged from 46 to 114nm, The particle size increased with the reaction temperature and gas concentration but decreased with gas flow rate. The-SiC particles obtained below 1623 K consisted of a silicon core and a-SiC shell, as opposed to the-SiC particles obtained at 1673 K which were hollow. Infrared absorption peaks were observed at 940 and 810 cm–1 for particles containing a silicon core; whereas a single peak at about 830 cm–1 with a shoulder at about 930 cm–1 was observed for the-SiC hollow particles. The lattice parameter of-SiC having a carburization ratio lower than 70 wt%, was larger than that of bulk-SiC and decreased with the increasing carburization ratio. However, when the carburization ratio exceeded 70 wt%, the lattice parameter became approximately equal to that of bulk-SiC.  相似文献

We have measured ac susceptibility, nuclear magnetic resonance, and nuclear heat capacity of two PtFe x samples with concentrations of magnetic impurities x = 11 ppm and 41 ppm at magnetic fields (0 ± 0.05) mTB248 mT. The susceptibility data have been measured at temperatures of 0.3 KT100 mK, no hint for nuclear magnetic ordering could be detected to a temperature of 0.3 K. The nuclear heat capacity data taken at 1.4 KT10 mK show enhanced values which scale with x at low polarization. This effect is described by a model assuming an internal magnetic field caused by the impurities. No indication for nuclear magnetic ordering could be detected to 1.4 K. The nuclear magnetic resonance experiments have been performed on these samples at 0.8 KT0.5 mK and 2.5 mTB22.8 mT as well as on three other samples with x = 5, 10, 31 ppm in a different setup at 40 KT0.5 mK and at 5.4 mTB200 mT. Spin-lattice and effective spin-spin relaxation times 1and 2 * of 195 Pt strongly depend on x and on the external magnetic field. No temperature dependence of 1and 2 * could be detected and the NMR data, too, give no hint for nuclear magnetic ordering to 0.8 K.  相似文献
