控制由机械装夹方式所引入的波前畸变以提高惯性约束聚变(ICF)输出光束的质量,是在大口径钕玻璃片主放大器结构设计中必须考虑的。提出了一种新的有限元变形结果与光学元件面形畸变之间的数据处理方式,并与传统方式进行了对比。基于新的数据处理接口,利用光机集成分析方法对大口径八边形钕玻璃片的支撑系统结构设计参数进行优化。优化的结果保证了由支撑系统引起的透过波前畸变小于十分之一波长,同时波前畸变与设计参数变动的相关性最小。 相似文献

A master oscillator power amplifier (MOPA) laser transmitter system at 1047 nm wavelength using a semiconductor laser diode and a diode pumped solid state (Nd:YLF) laser (DPSSL) amplifier is described. A small signal gain of 23 dB, a near diffraction limited beam, l Gbit/s modulation rates and >0.6 W average power are achieved. Experimental data and the results of detailed numerical calculations are presented for small scale beam breakup due to non-linear self-focusing in Cyclops, a high power Nd-glass laser amplifier. 高重复频率、高峰值功率、窄线宽的激光在激光雷达领域具有重要的应用价值。在对高重频窄线宽激光进行放大时,为了同时实现高放大倍率与高光束质量激光输出,在高重频、窄线宽被动调Q激光器作为种子源的前提下,设计了利用888 nm半导体激光端面泵浦Nd:YVO4块状晶体实现高增益的一级放大,808 nm半导体激光侧面泵浦Nd:YVO4板条晶体实现低热透镜效应的二级放大的方案。在重复频率10 kHz时,获得了峰值功率5 MW,线宽154 pm,脉冲宽度0.6 ns,平均功率31.5 W,光束质量M2为1.98的激光输出。从而验证了将高放大倍率与高光束质量分别控制的放大器设计思路。 相似文献

The equations of the free-electron laser amplifier are generalized to include higher order modes. The density and velocity fluctuations in the entering electron beam cause noise excitation in the amplifier. The electron beam fluctuations have been studied extensively, both theoretically and experimentally, in traveling wave tubes, and hence the well-tested formalism developed for this purpose is conveniently applied to the present problem. It is found that the fluctuations put a severe constraint on the achievable exponential gain in a proposed Raman-type free-electron laser operating at optical frequencies. We demonstrate the monolithic integration of a 1.55 μm wavelength InGaAsP-InP multiple-quantum-well (MQW) laser and a traveling-wave optical amplifier using an asymmetric, vertical twin-waveguide structure. The laser and amplifier share the same strained InGaAsP MQW active layer grown by gas-source molecular beam epitaxy, while the underlying passive waveguide layer is used for on-chip optical interconnections between the active devices.
