Impulse radio ultra-wideband (IR-UWB) ranging and positioning require accurate estimation of time-of-arrival (TOA) and direction-of-arrival (DOA). With receiver of two antennas, both of the TOA and DOA parameters can be estimated via two-dimensional (2D) propagator method (PM), in which the 2D spectral peak searching, however, renders much higher computational complexity. This paper proposes a successive PM algorithm for joint TOA and DOA estimation in IR-UWB system to avoid 2D spectral peak searching. The proposed algorithm firstly gets the initial TOA estimates in the two antennas from the propagation matrix, then utilises successively one-dimensional (1D) local searches to achieve the estimation of TOAs in the two antennas, and finally obtains the DOA estimates via the difference in the TOAs between the two antennas. The proposed algorithm, which only requires 1D local searches, can avoid the high computational cost in 2D-PM algorithm. Furthermore, the proposed algorithm can obtain automatically paired parameters and has better joint TOA and DOA estimation performance than conventional PM algorithm, estimation of signal parameters via rotational invariance techniques algorithm and matrix pencil algorithm. Meanwhile, it has very close parameter estimation to that of 2D-PM algorithm. We have also derived the mean square error of TOA and DOA estimation of the proposed algorithm and the Cramer-Rao bound of TOA and DOA estimation in this paper. The simulation results verify the usefulness of the proposed algorithm.  相似文献

Time-of-arrival (TOA) and direction-of-arrival (DOA) are key parameters in the impulse radio ultra wideband (IR-UWB) positioning system with a two-antennas receiver. A two-dimensional (2D) multiple signal classification (MUSIC) algorithm, which requires the 2D spectral peak search, can be used to estimate the parameters, but it has much higher computational complexity. This paper proposes a successive MUSIC algorithm for joint TOA and DOA estimation in IR-UWB system to avoid 2D spectral peak search. The proposed algorithm obtains the initial estimate of TOA corresponding to the first antenna via Root-MUSIC, and simplifies the 2D global search into successive one-dimensional searches to achieve the estimation of TOAs in the two antennas. It then estimates the DOA parameters via the difference of the TOAs between the two antennas. The proposed algorithm can get the parameters paired automatically, and has a much lower complexity than 2D-MUSIC algorithm. In addition, we have derived the mean square error of TOA and DOA estimation of the proposed algorithm and the Cramer–Rao bound of TOA and DOA estimation in the paper. The simulation results show that the parameter estimation performance of the proposed algorithm is better than that of Root-MUSIC, and is almost the same as that of 2D-MUSIC algorithm. Moreover, it has much better performance than matrix pencil algorithm, propagator method and estimation of signal parameters via rotational invariance techniques algorithm.  相似文献

针对二维多重信号分类算法可以估计出系统的到达时间(TOA, time-of-arrival)和波达方向(DOA, direction- of-arrival)参数,但需要复杂度非常高的二维谱峰搜索这一问题,提出了IR-UWB系统中基于求根MUSIC(root-MUSIC)的TOA和DOA联合估计算法,该算法对接收信号的频域形式建模,先估计出TOA,然后由TOA的差值计算出DOA,从而实现TOA和DOA的联合估计。该算法不需谱峰搜索,可直接给出估计参数的闭式解,还可实现参数配对。还推导了参数估计的误差方差。仿真结果表明,该算法的参数估计性能明显优于矩阵束算法、传播算子算法以及基于旋转不变技术估计信号参数算法,并且非常接近于2D-MUSIC算法,但该算法的复杂度却远远低于2D-MUSIC算法。  相似文献

This paper addresses the issue of joint two-dimensional direction of arrival (2-D DOA) and frequency estimation via reduced-dimensional propagator method (RD-PM) with L-shaped array. The proposed algorithm has no need for eigenvalue decomposition of the sample covariance matrix and simplifies three-dimensional global spectral search within the three-dimensional propagator method (3-D PM) to one-dimensional local search, which greatly reduces computational complexity. Furthermore, the proposed algorithm can work under both uniform and non-uniform L-shaped array and can achieve paired 2-D DOA and frequency estimates automatically. In addition, the 2-D DOA and frequency estimation performance for the proposed method is approximate 3-D PM algorithm and parallel factor (PARAFAC) method but exceeds the estimating signal parameters via rotational invariance techniques (ESPRIT) algorithm and improved PM algorithm. The detailed derivation of Cram´er-Rao bound (CRB) is provided and the simulation results demonstrate the effectiveness and superiority of the proposed approach.  相似文献

In the paper,polarization-sensitive array is exploited at the receiver of multiple input multiple output (MIMO) radar system,a novel method is proposed for joint estimation of direction of departure (DOD),direction of arrival (DOA) and polarization parameters for bistatic MIMO radars. A signal model of polarimetric MIMO radar is developed,and the multi-parameter estimation algorithm for target localization is described by exploiting polarization array processing and the invariance property in both transmitter array and receiver array. By making use of polarization diversity techniques,the proposed method has advantages over traditional localization algorithms for bistatic MIMO radar. Simulations show that the performance of DOD and DOA estimation is greatly enhanced when different states of polarization of echoes is fully utilized. Especially,when two targets are closely spaced and cannot be well separated in spatial domain,the estimation resolution of traditional algorithms will be greatly degraded. While the proposed algorithm can work well and achieve high-resolution identification and accurate localization of multiple targets.  相似文献

结合分布式阵列和双基地多输入多输出(Multiple-Input Multiple-Output, MIMO)雷达的特点, 提出了一种新的双基地分布式阵列MIMO雷达的接收角(Direction of Arrival, DOA)和发射角(Direction of Departure, DOD)估计方法.根据发射阵列和接收阵列的空域旋转不变特性, 利用旋转不变估计技术(Estimation of Signal Parameters via Rotational Invariance Techniques, ESPRIT)获取无模糊DOA粗估计和高精度周期性模糊的DOA、DOD精估计; 再利用无模糊DOA粗估计、目标的双基地距离信息以及双基地MIMO雷达的几何特点, 解除DOA、DOD精估计的周期性模糊, 得到高精度且无模糊的DOA和DOD估计.最后, 根据ESPRIT算法原理和估计误差的概率统计特性进行算法的性能分析, 给出算法基线模糊门限的近似计算方法.该算法有效地放宽了发射阵列孔径扩展程度的限制, 从而提高了阵列在大孔径下的角度估计精度, 且能够实现DOA和DOD估计的自动配对.仿真结果验证了所提算法和性能分析方法的有效性.  相似文献

new computationally efficient algorithm‐based propagator method for two‐dimensional (2‐D) direction‐of‐arrival (DOA) estimation is proposed, which uses two parallel uniform linear arrays. The algorithm takes advantage of the special structure of the array which enables 2‐D DOA estimation without pair matching. 研究了在对称α稳定分布(Symmetric α-stable,SαS)冲击噪声背景下的基于子空间拟合的多目标DOA估计算法.由于SαS冲击噪声造成传统DOA算法性能下降,提出了基于分数低阶矩统计量的FLOM-SSF/NSF算法和Screened Ratio原理的SR-SSF/NSF算法.计算机仿真表明两种算法都能有效地改善SαS型冲击噪声对DOA估计的影响,有更好的稳健性,其中SR-SSF/NSF算法性能略好于FLOM-SSF/NSF算法.  相似文献

针对现有利用阵列单通道系统对机动目标跟踪精度不高,实时性差等不足,提出了一种新的基于改进粒子滤波算法的阵列单通道机动目标波达方向(direction of arrival, DOA)跟踪方法。该方法首先在利用接收机轮流采样建立数学模型的基础上,建立跟踪模型。然后,利用粒子群优化算法对马尔科夫链蒙特卡罗(Markov Chain Monte Carlo, MCMC)粒子滤波算法的重采样环节进行优化处理,给出了一种交互MCMC粒子滤波算法,该算法克服了传统粒子滤波算法粒子退化及样本贫化的固有缺陷。最后利用该算法求解跟踪方程,实现了实时DOA估计。理论分析与仿真结果表明,本文方法可实现基于阵列单通道的DOA跟踪与波束形成一体化,且能够处理相干信号,与标准粒子滤波和子空间类算法相比,收敛速度快,跟踪精度高。   相似文献

阵列信号处理领域中,经常需要分析阵列接收信号的波达方向(DOA)和波形信息。在缺乏信号先验DOA和波形信息的情况下,提出了一种新的斜投影DOA估计和盲信号识别协同算法,实现对未知阵列接收信号的自适应分析。该算法交替地采用斜投影空域滤波技术将阵列接收信号拆分为单信号群组,在每个单信号群组内进行DOA和波形联合估计。算法适用于主瓣干扰存在的情况,并且在中小快拍数下有较好的估计性能。理论分析和仿真实验证实了文中算法的有效性。  相似文献

This paper discusses the problem of joint direction of arrival (DOA) and Doppler frequency estimation of coherent targets in a monostatic multiple-input multiple-output radar. In the proposed algorithm, we perform a reduced dimension (RD) transformation on the received signal first and then use forward spatial smoothing (FSS) technique to decorrelate the coherence and obtain joint estimation of DOA and Doppler frequency by exploiting the estimation of signal parameters via rotational invariance techniques (ESPRIT) algorithm. The joint estimated parameters of the proposed RD-FSS-ESPRIT are automatically paired. Compared with the conventional FSS-ESPRIT algorithm, our RD-FSS-ESPRIT algorithm has much lower complexity and better estimation performance of both DOA and frequency. The variance of the estimation error and the Cramer–Rao Bound of the DOA and frequency estimation are derived. Simulation results show the effectiveness and improvement of our algorithm.  相似文献

二维空间信号波达方向(DOA)的估计是阵列信号处理的一个关键研究问题。经典的二维 MUSIC算法固然精度高,但此算法需要二维谱峰搜索,运算较为复杂。提出一种用于L型阵列的二维DOA估计算法,通过矩阵重构使得阵列输出矩阵变为中心对称矩阵,再利用酉变换矩阵将其由复值矩阵变为实值矩阵。该方法可以直接得到目标参数,不需要谱峰搜索,使得运算量大大降低。相比于 L 型阵列适用的增广矩阵束(MEMP)算法,该算法可以估计更多信源的DOA,并能获得较高的分辨率。计算机仿真结果表明,该算法具有较高的DOA估计精度。  相似文献

提出了一种分布式嵌套阵列天线结构,由两个相互独立的四级嵌套子阵构成。两个子阵间存在一个基线长度,且满足一定条件。对该阵列天线接收到的信号进行高阶累积量和Khatri-Rao积运算可以得到三个完全相同的均匀直线阵列天线结构。针对新得到的阵列天线结构,使用基于空间平滑技术的双尺度酉旋转不变子空间( ESPRIT)波达方向( DOA)估计算法对信号进行DOA估计。该方法可以有效地提高阵列天线的自由度,进而达到提高估计精度的目地。仿真结果证明了基于所提出阵列天线结构的DOA估计方法的有效性。  相似文献

In this article, we study the problem of angle estimation for bistatic multiple-input multiple-output (MIMO) radar and propose an improved multiple signal classification (MUSIC) algorithm for joint direction of departure (DOD) and direction of arrival (DOA) estimation. The proposed algorithm obtains initial estimations of angles obtained from the signal subspace and uses the local one-dimensional peak searches to achieve the joint estimations of DOD and DOA. The angle estimation performance of the proposed algorithm is better than that of estimation of signal parameters via rotational invariance techniques (ESPRIT) algorithm, and is almost the same as that of two-dimensional MUSIC. Furthermore, the proposed algorithm can be suitable for irregular array geometry, obtain automatically paired DOD and DOA estimations, and avoid two-dimensional peak searching. 人工神经网络( ANN)进行建模时通常需要准备大量的数据样本,同时网络结构一般都比较复杂;而采用支持向量机( SVM)进行建模时,不同核函数有不同的效果,各有利弊,且选取SVM模型参数的理论支撑尚不完整。为了解决这些问题,提出了一种基于混合核函数的支持向量机来改善来波到达角( DOA)的估计性能,并结合二进制粒子群算法( PSO)来对混合核函数进行参数寻优。该混合核函数由全局核函数和局部核函数构成,提高了SVM的泛化能力和学习能力。首先通过拟合多项式函数,验证了该混合核SVM的有效性。将该方法用于DOA估计建模,在不同信噪比和快拍数下,通过与径向基函数( RBF)神经网络、基于各单一核函数的SVM和MUSIC算法预测结果对比,混合核SVM均方差有所降低,提高了DOA估计的精度且有更好的稳定性。  相似文献

针对某些特殊的移动通信环境中信号的到达角度( TOA)、到达时间( AOA)等信道参数估计的复杂性,提出一种基于散射体均匀分布室外统计信道模型。该模型将树木中的树冠层作为散射体呈均匀分布在移动台与基站周围的椭圆形区域内,通过树冠层在雨雪环境中的相对介电常数来分析降雨降雪量对信号传输带来的影响,可以方便地估计出此室外微小区的空时信道参数,如AOA概率密度分布函数、TOA概率密度分布函数以及到达角度/到达时间( AOA/TOA )联合概率密度分布函数。仿真结果表明,信号的到达时间TOA以及到达角度AOA随着降雨降雪量的增大而增大,尤其当降雪量增大使得树冠层相对介电常数达到4.5时,信号的传输将被阻塞。该模型的信道参数估计结果符合理论与经验,扩展了移动无线通信信道模型的研究与应用。  相似文献

文中重点对在TD-SCDMA系统中,采用JADE-MUSIC算法联合提取TOA和AOA定位参数,实现单基站定位的技术进行了分析和研究。通过上行同步偏移参量获得TOA值,通过智能天线的DOA估计获得AOA值,实现TOA与AOA相结合的单站定位是现在比较盛行的方法。但这种方法受限于同步偏移参量的步进。针对此,对基于经典JADE-MUSIC谱估计算法的联合AOA和TOA参数提取的单站定位技术进行区域划分进行一定的研究。  相似文献
