随着VoIP的普及,对VoIP监测的需求愈加迫切,目前,传统的VoIP控制方式已无法满足现实的需要。文章简单介绍了VoIP基础,分析了VoIP信令流与媒体流交互的过程及VoIP传统的串联控制方式。在此基础上,分析和研究基于第三方攻击的VoIP并联控制方式,最后给出了并联控制方式下的VoIP控制系统模型及其在实际系统中的应用。  相似文献

Voice over Internet protocol (VoIP) has become a popular alternative to traditional public-switched telephone network (PSTN) networks that provides advantages of low cost and flexible advanced ldquodigitalrdquo features. The flexibility of the VoIP system and the convergence of voice and data networks brings with it additional security risks. These are in addition to the common security concerns faced by the underlying IP data network facilities that a VoIP system relies on. The result being that the VoIP network further complicates the security assurance mission faced by enterprises employing this technology. It is time to document various security issues that a VoIP infrastructure may face and analyze the challenges and solutions that may guide future research and development efforts. In this paper, we examine and investigate the concerns and requirements of VoIP security. After a thorough review of security issues and defense mechanisms, we focus on attacks and countermeasures unique to VoIP systems that are essential for current and future VoIP implantations. Then, we analyze two popular industry best practices for securing VoIP networks and conclude this paper with further discussion on future research directions. This paper aims to direct future research efforts and to offer helpful guidelines for practitioners.  相似文献

Signaling has been one of the key areas of Voice over IP (VoIP) technologies since inception. H.323 was the key protocol that allowed interoperability of VoIP products and moved the industry away from the initial proprietary solutions. Once the VoIP industry started maturing, some limitations of H.323 came to light. In this article we provide an overview of H.323, describe its capabilities, and discuss how its limitations are being addressed using the concept of gateway decomposition. We also discuss how H.323 can coexist with other protocols such as MGCP, H.248, and SIP which are attracting a lot of interest in the VoIP industry today  相似文献

With many raised expectations of what it will offer, voice over IP has enjoyed a high profile in the communications industry. However, in common with any emerging technology, the reality of the functionality that available equipment can deliver is often at variance with such expectations. This paper highlights the role of technology assessment in refining VoIP products and highlights the value of such activities from a number of perspectives. It describes an approach to evaluate VoIP solutions, the problems associated with the testing of VoIP networks and network components, and the tools and techniques employed to do so. For a given voice quality, VoIP does not offer a particularly efficient transport solution. This becomes a concern in any bandwidth-constrained part of a network, in particular, a copper-based, access network. VoIP access systems need to be carefully designed if they are to offer an acceptable combination of quality and efficiency. This paper identifies and quantifies the various issues which need to be addressed in undertaking such a design, and suggests possible solutions. The challenges of distributing VoIP within the customer premises are also addressed, with specific and different solutions being proposed for the business and residential environments.  相似文献
