针对广泛使用的数字视频监控系统,设计了一种基于IP组播技术的视频监控与切换软件,实现对H.264格式视频的监控和在视频源与监视器之间进行选择切换.为提高视频流数据包的转发性能,将过滤、拆包、重组等处理过程放在网络接口驱动层实现,并且可以以组播方式将同一视频信号转发到不同的视频接收设备.实践证明,基于该软件构建的视频切换系统,能够满足视频转发的实时性要求,并可以使系统结构更简化,有效降低硬件成本.  相似文献

通过互联网传输视频会占用大量的网络带宽,而采用组播技术可以减小视频播放对带宽的占用,降低视频服务器的负载。目前只有部分硬件路由器具备组播功能,使用这些路由器搭建组播网络,需要较高的成本。文中提出了一种解决方案,利用虚拟化、软件路由等新兴技术,在虚拟机上组建由多个软件路由器组成的组播网络,搭建组播视频服务器,并通过测试组播网络中视频播放的效果证明方案的可行性。  相似文献

Technological evolution is leading telecommunications toward all-IP scenarios, where multiple services are transported as IP packets. Among these services is the broadcast of video. A possible mechanism for broadcasting multiple video channels over IP is to use IP multicast, and let each client decide about the reception of a channel. The secure IP multicast specified by the IETF MSEC working group is a candidate solution for securing these broadcast services. In this paper we propose a new solution for supporting the broadcast of multiple video channels which can be accessed only by authorized users; besides, when a video channel is not visualized in the last mile its transmission is temporarily suspended, so that the cable can be used for other services such as standard Internet access.  相似文献

为缓解基站的视频流量过载,本文针对时延敏感的实时视频业务,设计一种D2D协作视频多播传输方案。该方案采用可伸缩视频编码(Scalable Video Coding, SVC)对视频流进行编码处理,利用SVC流的分层结构特征来应对多播信道间的差异性。在SVC编码的基础上,为了改善用户观看体验及提升用户所接收的视频质量,所提出的协作式视频传输方案引入有效吞吐量这一概念,在一定时延约束下,根据信道反馈信息灵活地对不同信道上的不同SVC视频层进行码率调整。仿真结果表明,所提出的方案能够有效地减小端到端时延,有效丢失率,提高有效吞吐量。   相似文献

This paper presents an adaptive tree-based P2P video streaming multicast system under high peer-churn rate. Because peers typically display dynamic and unstable behavior during the session, a P2P video streaming multicast tree must take into account both the link delay and peer stability in order to provide a seamless video streaming multicast service with low delay. Hence, we need to adaptively update the multicast tree according to its time-varying environments in order to obtain an effective tradeoff between the delay of the tree and the relative peer stability over multicast tree. Finally, simulation results are provided to demonstrate the performance of the proposed system.  相似文献

IPTV broadcast channels and video content distribution are increasingly saturating network paths. New solutions based on inter‐domain multicast protocols could contribute to the enhancement of multimedia content distribution over the Internet. The aim of this paper is to propose new capabilities for an existing inter‐domain multicast protocol, the Protocol Independent Multicast‐Sparse Mode. We describe the modified protocol and analyze its behavior using newly developed tools based on an open‐source software simulator. The resulting protocol does not require topology information, which is advantageous for easier deployment. In addition, the adopted solution avoids inherent problems with inter‐domain multicast routing, such as multiple paths and path asymmetries.  相似文献

In this paper, the effects of optical traffic-sharing on the performance of multicast video delivery in terms of the efficiency of bandwidth allocation and the fairness of link-sharing are discussed for the downstream direction of a time-division-multiplexed passive optical network (TDM-PON). We analyze the practical issues associated with multicast packet switching and transmission control in a TDM-PON and also propose a fair bandwidth allocation mechanism, called share-based proportional bandwidth allocation (S-PBA), to effectively support multicast services. In order to provide an optical network unit with a fair amount of link bandwidth and high throughput independent of traffic type, S-PBA arbitrates the amount of unicast timeslot by using effective multicast traffic share, which is determined based on multicast traffic load distribution and traffic-sharing density. Analytic and simulation results clearly validate the effectiveness of the proposed mechanism. This work is applicable to multicast video delivery or multicast traffic transmission in general, such as voice traffic, or a combination of both in the case of video conferencing, for example.  相似文献

This paper proposes a novel video delivery scheme that reduces the bandwidth consumption cost from a video server to terminals in Long‐Term Evolution networks. This proposed scheme combines optimized hybrid multicast with a segment‐based caching strategy for use in environments where the maximum number of multicast channels is limited. The optimized hybrid multicast, allocation of multicast channels, and cache allocation are determined on the basis of a video's request rate, the related video's length, and the variable cost per unit size of a segment belonging to the related video. Performance evaluation results show that the proposed scheme reduces a video's delivery costs. This work is applicable to on‐demand TV services that feature asynchronous video content requests.  相似文献
