基于运营收入最大化的Parlay网关过载控制   总被引:2,自引:0,他引:2  
针对目前基于节点过载算法不灵活、响应时间长的问题,结合下一代网络中 Parlay 网关过载控制的新的需求,设计了基于网络的、运营收入最大化的 Parlay 网关过载控制的模型。并将基于 agent 的线性规划理论引入到过载控制算法中,提出了基于 agent 线性规划理论的过载控制系统结构。实验表明,采用此方法,可以很快找出满足运营收入最大化的过载控制算法,且在大型软交换网络中具有良好的可伸缩性,可缩短过载控制的响应时间,提高控制灵敏度,且可灵活地按照地域等因素划分子网。  相似文献

The desire for new business growth has been a major driving force towards the development of open network APIs, such as the Parlay API, within telecommunications networks. The Parlay API enables both third parties (external companies, operating outside the security domain of the network operator) and network operators to build new applications that rely on real-time control of network resources. The Java APIs for integrated networks (JAINTM) Community is defining a Java version of the Parlay API to bring the benefits of the Java language to the Parlay API, and to promote industry-wide adoption of the Parlay API. This article describes the background and rationale behind the work of the Parlay Group, together with the characteristics, structure, and capabilities of the Parlay API. The benefits that Java and the JAIN Community bring to the Parlay API are then explored. A technical overview of the Java version of the Parlay API, referred to as the JAIN Parlay Edit Group API, is given and illustrated using example sequence diagrams. The article concludes by taking a look at what additional features may be added to the API and the implementation activities that lay ahead  相似文献

电信网与Internet走向融合,而Parlay接口与Web服务作为各自领域开放技术的代表,也开始了互相结合。Web服务是一种基于可扩展标记语言(XML)、面向消息的分布式计算技术,与公共对象请求代理体系结构(CORBA)等分布式对象技术相比,在Internet范围内的互操作性更好。Web服务是实现面向服务体系结构(SOA)的最佳候选技术之一。基于Web服务的Parlay接口包括Parlay Web服务和Parlay X。其中,Parlay Web服务模拟面向对象的Parlay应用编程接口(API)定义,Parlay X的设计遵循Web服务面向消息的技术发展思路。基于Web服务的Parlay接口技术为构建电信网和Internet融合环境下的统一业务体系提供了基础。  相似文献

The extent and diversity of systems, provided by IP networks, have made various technologies approach integrating different types of access networks and convert to the next generation network (NGN). The session initiation protocol (SIP) with respect to facilities such as being in text form, end-to-end connection, independence from the type of transmitted data, and support various forms of transmission, is an appropriate choice for signalling protocol in order to make connection between two IP network users. These advantages have made SIP be considered as a signalling protocol in IP multimedia subsystem (IMS), a proposed signalling platform for NGNs. Despite having all these advantages, SIP protocol lacks appropriate mechanism for addressing overload causing serious problems for SIP servers. SIP overload occurs when a SIP server does not have enough resources to process messages. The fact is that the performance of SIP servers is largely degraded during overload periods because of the retransmission mechanism of SIP. In this paper, we propose an advanced mechanism, which is an improved method of the windows based overload control in RFC 6357. In the windows based overload control method, the window is used to limit the amount of message generated by SIP proxy server. A distributed adaptive window-based overload control algorithm, which does not use explicit feedback from the downstream server, is proposed. The number of confirmation messages is used as a measure of the downstream server load. Thus, the proposed algorithm does not impose any additional complexity or processing on the downstream server, which is overloaded, making it a robust approach. Our proposed algorithm is developed and implemented based on an open source proxy. The results of evaluation show that proposed method could maintain the throughput close to the theoretical throughput, practically and fairly. As we know, this is the only SIP overload control mechanism, which is implemented on a real platform without using explicit feedback.  相似文献

针对空间信息网络结构复杂、拓扑动态变化以及空间尺度大等特点,提出一种面向空间信息网的分层自治域模型。该模型根据节点属性、链路能力、任务特点、分布区域等不同,将整个网络划分为不同的自治域和子自治域,各域内可采用相对独立的控制策略,从而将子网间各动态因素解耦合。然后,基于该分层自治域模型,提出了一种最小化时延的拓扑控制算法。与现有的集中式和分布式拓扑控制方法不同,该算法采用混合式方法,将控制信息约束在相邻子自治域范围内,既保证了网络的连通性,又减少了控制信息的开销。理论分析表明,若网络的物理拓扑是k连通的,则该算法得到的拓扑控制结果一定是k连通的。仿真结果验证了理论分析和所提出算法的有效性。  相似文献

Applications offered to end users as value-added services, or more simple, services, are crucial for the survival and success of service providers. Two main sets of standards have emerged for Internet telephony: H.323 from the ITU-T and SIP from the IETF. Unfortunately, the related application development frameworks are rather weak. Parlay, a set of standard object-oriented and signaling protocol-neural APIs, is an alternative. It allows applications to access network functionality, including call control, in a controller manner. Call control makes it possible to establish, modify, and tear down calls. It is the main functionality offered by Internet telephony networks. We have built a call control application in a SIP environment, using the call control APIs offered by Parlay. The application is a multiparty game. This article describes the case study. The mapping of the APIs onto SIP is presented, and its implementation is described. Related work reviewed, and the lessons learned are discussed. Parlay call control APIs are suitable for application development in Internet telephony. However, well isolated extensions are needed to realize their full potential.  相似文献

The Session Initiation Protocol (SIP) retransmission mechanism is designed to maintain reliable transmission over lossy or faulty network conditions. However, the retransmission can amplify the traffic overload faced by the SIP servers. In this paper, by modeling the interaction between an overloaded downstream server and its upstream server as a feedback control system, we propose two Proportional-Integral (PI) control algorithms to mitigate the overload by regulating the retransmission rate in the upstream server. We provide the design guidelines for both overload control algorithms to ensure the system stability. Our OPNET® simulation results demonstrate that: (1) without the control algorithm applied, the overload at a downstream server may propagate to its upstream servers and cause widespread network failure; (2) in case of short-term overload, both proposed feedback control solutions can mitigate the overload effectively without rejecting calls or reducing resource utilization, thus avoiding the disadvantages of existing overload control solutions for SIP networks.  相似文献

This paper sets out to explain the concepts behind the development of the Parlay API. The paper firstly describes the historical origins of the development, showing where the concepts initially began and describing some early work undertaken by the TINA Consortium on distributed software environments. The paper then goes on to describe the architecture upon which the Parlay API is built, to analyse the constituent parts of the API, particularly the call control element, and to give an overview of the ideas behind what has become known as Parlay X.
