通信网络的可靠性评估

通信网络的可靠性评估是一个难题。目前人们只对环型网和树型网进行可靠性分析。本文首先定义了通信网络的可靠性，依据图论提出了网络生成树的计算方法，以及网络可靠度的估算公式。最后给出了一个栅格型网的可靠度估算示例。     

一种新式背射天线

本文提出一种新式背射天线，它把单线背射螺旋作为短背射天线的馈源。这种天线具有结构简单，馈电方便，频带宽，增益中等，易于产生圆极化波等特点，较相同直径接地板的螺旋天线有更优的性能。     

一种L波段背射模螺旋馈源

螺旋天线具有较好的宽频带圆极化特性,在L或S波段体积和增益都很适中,加工制造公差要求较低,因此在该频段螺旋天线得到了广泛的应用。由背射模螺旋构成的L波段宽带馈源具有结构简单,馈电、调试方便,口面遮挡小,频带宽(大于25%),可以承受大功率等优点,可以满足L或S波段测控系统对天线的要求。用该背射模螺旋馈源研制的前馈天线的口径效率超过了53%,第一副瓣小于-20 dB,在工程中得到了很好的应用。     

Tapered backfire helical antenna with loaded termination

In order to improve the radiation characteristics of a backfire bifilar helical antenna, a means of terminating the arm ends with a resistor is numerically and experimentally investigated. Owing to the reduction of reflected current, the present backfire helix realises an excellent front-to-back ratio and axial ratio, while maintaining inherent absolute gain.     

Backfire radiation from a monofilar helix with a small ground plane

Numerical analysis of a helical antenna is made in the presence of a finite-grid ground plane. It is found that the transition from forward-fire radiation to backfire radiation occurs as the ground-plane diameter is reduced to the order of the helix diameter. The investigation of the backfire helix with a small ground plane shows that a circularly polarized wave is radiated over a frequency range of more than 1 to 1.3. An application of the backfire helix to primary feed for a paraboloidal reflector is also described, in which the far-field pattern is evaluated by the physical-optics approximation     

Backfire antennas with dipole elements

A method is set up for a theoretical investigation of arbitrary backfire antennas based upon dipole structures. The mutual impedance between the dipole elements of the antenna is taken into account, and the field radiated due to a surface wave reflector of finite extent is determined by calculating the surface current distribution on the reflector plate. Numerical results obtained for Yagi backfire antennas and short-backfire antennas using this theory are compared with experimental results.     

Backfire mode zigzag antenna

A backfire mode zigzag antenna is analysed using the method of moments. The effects of the filament length of the zigzag on the -10 dB beam width is calculated. The zigzag antenna is applied to a symmetrical paraboloidal reflector antenna as a primary feed. The reflector antenna shows a relatively constant gain in the communication satellite frequency band 12.25-2.75 GHz.<>     

Backfire antennas constructed with coaxial circular loops

The radiation characteristics of backfire antennas constructed entirely of circular loops are studied. A comparison between this type of backfire antenna and the conventional one, made of a solid reflector, reveals that the optimum dimensions of the reflector and the peripheral rim are approximately the same for both kinds of antennas. In addition, it is found that as few as six loops are sufficient to construct the optimum reflector, and almost the same number of loops are required to form the optimum peripheral rim. The new structure reduces the weight, windage, and obstruction of view which accompany solid reflectors. In addition, the new antenna lends itself to exact analytical investigation.

Backfire/endfire radiation performance of quadrifilar helical antennas

The relations between the radiation pattern and feeding method in quadrifilar helical antennas is discussed. As a result, it is found that by changing the phase of each wire the helical antenna can achieve two radiation modes; both backfire and endfire radiation. These patterns do not have a difference except in radiation direction. Antenna polarisation of quadrifilar helical antenna depends only on the helical winding direction.<>
