利用光学特征矩阵方法,研究了含负折射率缺陷的正负折射率交替一维光子晶体缺陷模的相关特性。研究表明:当缺陷层的光学厚度不变时,随着缺陷层折射率的增加,分布在禁带中心两侧的缺陷模分别向临近的禁带边缘方向移动,并与透射谱形成连续的透射带,随着折射率的增加,透射带的透射率逐渐增加,其半高宽度逐渐减小;而当缺陷层折射率不变时,随着缺陷层的光学厚度增加,缺陷模向长波方向平移,同时缺陷模的个数也随之增加,而由缺陷模和透射谱连成的透射带的带宽逐渐减小。与正折射率缺陷情形相比较,负折射率缺陷层可以获得更多的缺陷膜。  相似文献

采用光学传输矩阵给出了含负折射率材料一维掺杂光子晶体的特征矩阵,研究了缺陷模的相关特性,经数值模拟计算得出:改变负折射率的大小、杂质的吸收系数和厚度,缺陷模的中心频率位置不变,缺陷模透射率随负折射率的减小而降低,透射谱的频率宽度也逐渐减小,同时缺陷模的半高宽度随消光系数和杂质厚度增大而增宽。光子晶体的这些特性将为光的传输控制、全反射镜和滤波器的设计等提供理论依据。  相似文献

通过一维掺杂光子晶体缺陷模的三个不同角度的立体图以及它们对应的俯视切面图,全面地研究了缺陷模随杂质光学厚度、杂质折射率以及光子晶体折射率的变化关系,得出了一维掺杂光子晶体缺陷模的全貌特征,并得到以下重要结论:缺陷模透射峰随杂质光学厚度变化呈周期性的出现,在同一周期上缺陷模的波长随杂质光学厚度呈线性变化;缺陷模透射峰的半高宽度随杂质折射率的增加而减小,但陷模透射峰的高度不受杂质折射率变化的影响;光子晶体的折射率对缺陷模透射峰的峰高和半高宽度都有显著的影响.  相似文献

研究了缺陷层为负折射率材料的一维光子晶体的带隙结构.研究结果表明:与缺陷层为正折射率材料的同类型结构相比,负折射率材料缺陷模的宽度变宽,且随着缺陷层厚度的增加,缺陷模向高频(短波)方向移动,缺陷模的移动速度也大.同时研究了负折射率缺陷层位置的不同对光子晶体透射特性的影响以及光学增强效应.  相似文献

构造和研究了光子晶体插入式二元缺陷和替代式二元缺陷微腔的光学传输特性,结果表明:随着二元缺陷自身周期数增大,微腔透射谱中分立缺陷模的数目增加,且替代式二元缺陷微腔分立缺陷模多于插入式二元缺陷微腔;随着缺陷高折射率介质厚度的增大,二元缺陷微腔的缺陷模向中间靠拢呈现简并趋势,同时禁带两侧出现多组双缺陷模,且高频一侧出现双缺陷模多于低频一侧,但替代式二元缺陷微腔出现的双缺陷模数目多于插入式二元缺陷微腔;随着缺陷低折射率介质厚度增大,插入式二元缺陷微腔的缺陷模向低频方向移动同时呈现耦合分开趋势,且透射率逐渐降低,而替代式二元缺陷微腔的缺陷模则向中间靠拢呈现简并趋势,同时缺陷模整体向高频方向缓慢移动,而透射率保持100%不变。光子晶体二元缺陷微腔的光传输特性为光学滤波器、光学开关和激光器等的设计提供了参考。  相似文献

通过传输矩阵法理论,研究两端对称缺陷C对一维光子晶体ACmB(AB)n(BA)nBCmA透射谱的影响,发现:当无缺陷C时,透射谱符合镜像对称结构光子晶体的透射谱特征。当引入缺陷C后,随着缺陷折射率nC的增大,禁带中的透射峰逐渐变宽的同时向高频方向移动。缺陷周期数m及其光学厚度DC对透射谱的影响,在数值上具有明显的奇偶特性,m为奇数或DC为奇数倍时,禁带中心均出现一个较宽的通带,且通带宽度随着m或DC的增大逐渐变窄,而且通带上方的振荡加快,但通带中心所处频率位置不变;m为偶数或DC为偶数倍时,禁带中心均出现一条细窄缺陷模,且缺陷模的宽度随着m或DC的增大缓慢变窄,但其位置不变;两端对称缺陷对对称结构光子晶体透射谱的调制规律,为光子晶体设计窄带、宽带光学滤波器或光开关等提供指导。  相似文献

利用传输矩阵法,计算了含双缺陷的一维准周期光子晶体的透射谱,并侧重分析了缺陷模的特征。结果表明:当两缺陷层间距较小时,两缺陷模分裂的距离较大,对应的透射率较小;而当两缺陷层间的光学距离变大,两缺陷模的间距变小,缺陷膜的透射率增加。两缺陷模间的关联系数随两缺陷层间的光学厚度的增加而减少。缺陷层光学厚度增加时,缺陷模向长波方向平移,反之向短波方向移动。缺陷层光学厚度的变化对缺陷模的透射率几乎没有影响。  相似文献

利用传输矩阵法研究一维光子晶体B(AB)m(ACB)n(AB)mB的缺陷模,结果发现:随n的增加,B(AB)8(ACB)n(AB)8B的透射谱出现与n值对应的共振缺陷模,具有超窄带多通道滤波的特性;当n=1,随着C层介质光学厚度奇数倍增加,透射谱中出现奇数条共振缺陷模,具有超窄带奇数通道滤波特性;当n=1,随着C层介质光学厚度偶数倍增加,透射谱中出现两条共振缺陷模,具有超窄带双通道滤波特性。当n=1,缺陷模频率处局域电场强度随m的增加而增强,而随C层光学厚度奇数倍增加,缺陷模频率处局域电场强度不变,但局域范围扩大。这些光学传输特性,为研究、设计新型光学器件提供指导。  相似文献

DUV lithography, using the 248 nm wavelength, is a viable manufacturing option for devices with features at 130 nm and less. Given the low kl value of the lithography, integrated process development is a necessary method for achieving acceptable process latitude. The application of assist features for rule based OPC requires the simultaneous optimization of the mask, illumination optics and the resist.Described in this paper are the details involved in optimizing each of these aspects for line and space imaging.A reference pitch is first chosen to determine how the optics will be set. The ideal sigma setting is determined by a simple geometrically derived expression. The inner and outer machine settings are determined, in turn,with the simulation of a figure of merit. The maximum value of the response surface of this FOM occurs at the optimal sigma settings. Experimental confirmation of this is shown in the paper.Assist features are used to modify the aerial image of the more isolated images on the mask. The effect that the diffraction of the scattering bars (SBs) has on the image intensity distribution is explained. Rules for determining the size and placement of SBs are also given.Resist is optimized for use with off-axis illumination and assist features. A general explanation of the material' s effect is discussed along with the affect on the through-pitch bias. The paper culminates with the showing of the lithographic results from the fully optimized system.  相似文献

This paper presents a new method to increase the waveguide coupling efficiency in hybrid silicon lasers. We find that the propagation constant of the InGaAsP emitting layer can be equal to that of the Si resonant layer through improving the design size of the InP waveguide. The coupling power achieves 42% of the total power in the hybrid lasers when the thickness of the bonding layer is 100 nm. Our result is very close to 50% of the total power reported by Intel when the thickness of the thin bonding layer is less than 5 nm. Therefore, our invariable coupling power technique is simpler than Intel's.  相似文献

The relation between the power of the Brillouin signal and the strain is one of the bases of the distributed fiber sensors of temperature and strain. The coefficient of the Bfillouin gain can be changed by the temperature and the strain that will affect the power of the Brillouin scattering. The relation between the change of the Brillouin gain coefficient and the strain is thought to be linear by many researchers. However, it is not always linear based on the theoretical analysis and numerical simulation. Therefore, errors will be caused if the relation between the change of the Brillouin gain coefficient and the strain is regarded as to be linear approximately for measuring the temperature and the strain. For this reason, the influence of the parameters on the Brillouin gain coefficient is proposed through theoretical analysis and numerical simulation.  相似文献

Today, micro-system technology and the development of new MEMS (Micro-Electro-Mechanical Systems) are emerging rapidly. In order for this development to become a success in the long run, measurement systems have to ensure product quality. Most often, MEMS have to be tested by means of functionality or destructive tests. One reason for this is that there are no suitable systems or sensing probes available which can be used for the measurement of quasi inaccessible features like small holes or cavities. We present a measurement system that could be used for these kinds of measurements. The system combines a fiber optical, miniaturized sensing probe with low-coherence interferometry, so that absolute distance measurements with nanometer accuracy are possible.  相似文献

The parallel thinning algorithm with two subiterations is improved in this paper. By analyzing the notions of connected components and passes, a conclusion is drawn that the number of passes and the number of eight-connected components are equal. Then the expression of the number of eight-connected components is obtained which replaces the old one in the algorithm. And a reserving condition is proposed by experiments, which alleviates the excess deletion where a diagonal line and a beeline intersect. The experimental results demonstrate that the thinned curve is almost located in the middle of the original curve connectivelv with single pixel width and the processing speed is high.  相似文献

It is well known that adding more antennas at the transmitter or at the receiver may offer larger channel capacity in the multiple-input multiple-output(MIMO) communication systems. In this letter, a simple proof is presented for the fact that the channel capacity increases with an increase in the number of receiving antennas. Waveguide multilayer optical card (WMOC) is a novel storage device of three-dimensional optical information. An advanced readout system fitting for the WMOC is introduced in this paper. The hardware mainly consists of the light source for reading, WMOC, motorized stages addressing unit, microscope imaging unit, CCD detecting unit and PC controlling & processing unit. The movement of the precision motorized stage is controlled by the computer through Visual Basic (VB) language in software. A control panel is also designed to get the layer address and the page address through which the position of the motorized stages can be changed. Using multiple importance sampling (MIS) technique, the optical communication system performance affected by polarization-mode dispersion (PMD) and polarization-dependent loss (PDL) is simulated numerically. The power penalties and system outage probabilities are obtained for optical communication systems with on-off keying (OOK) or differential phase shift keying (DPSK) modulation. The simulation results show that DPSK always performs better than OOK. When the system has moderate PDL (about 1.5 dB), it is necessary to compensate effectively the fiber PMD in order to enhance the system tolerance to the PMD and PDL. However, the efficiency of PMD compensation will degrade rapidly when the PMD of the whole optical link drops into the low value.  相似文献
