The Bluetooth wireless communication technology provides wireless solutions applicable for a number of communications needs. In addition, multiple independent piconets are possible and likely to occur within the same location, either intentionally or by chance. Bluetooth devices utilize frequency hopping and independent piconets operate on different hopping sequences. Although the use of independently selected hopping sequences reduces the likelihood of mutual interference, as the number of colocated piconets increases, mutual interference becomes more likely. Mutual interference is also dependent on the performance requirements dictated by the application utilizing Bluetooth technology as well as the environment in which the piconet is operating. A method for analytically evaluating mutual interference for Bluetooth technology is presented. Models were developed for a single Bluetooth interferer as well as multiple interfering Bluetooth piconets operating in an arbitrary environment. The analytical models are based on two sets of parameters: Bluetooth interference and radio propagation. Empirical tests have been conducted to both support the derivation of the analytical models as well as to substantiate the analytical model results. The analytical results fall within the 95% confidence bounds of the empirical test results. Mutual interference analysis is presented based on evaluating the analytical model over a wide range of the multidimensional parameter space. The analytical model presented is a general approach well suited for evaluating mutual interference for applications using Bluetooth for data communications. 相似文献

In this article, a low cost, compact conformal antenna is proposed for vehicular communications applications. The concept of fractal geometry is applied in this design to make the model more attractive in its appearance as well as to attain desired bands in the vehicular communication spectrum. It is fabricated on a transparent and flexible poly vinyl chloride material of size 55 mm × 40 mm × 3 mm. The proposed antenna is intended to operate in GSM-1800/1900, Digital Communication System (DCS-1800), Personal Communication Service (PCS-1900), Universal Mobile Telecommunications System (UMTS), Long-Term Evolution (LTE2600), Industrial, Scientific, and Medical radio band (ISM 2.4G), Wireless local area network (WLAN), Bluetooth, World Interoperability for Microwave Access (WiMAX), IEEE802.11p protocol based Vehicle-to-everything, Dedicated short-range communications (DSRC) and Wireless Access in Vehicular Environments (WAVE) communications bands. The prototype of the antenna in its planar and conformal versions exhibit the wideband characteristics and their measured results show good agreement with that of obtained simulation results. The virtual analysis of platform mounted characteristics of the proposed antenna at two different locations of the vehicle (vehicle roof-top and on side-view mirror) are performed in ANSYS Savant simulation tool and the corresponding far-field radiation performance is characterized. 相似文献

The throughput of WPAN (Wireless Personal Area Network) based on Bluetooth was decided by the interference of Bluetooth piconets in the network. The interference was decided by the hamming correlation of Bluetooth FH (Frequency Hopping) selected sequence. In order to improve the WPAN throughput, the WPAN model and data packet collision model were built and the relations about WPAN throughput, the maximum hamming correlation of FH selected sequence, the numbers of Bluetooth piconets and the SNR of channel were analyzed. The functions of WPAN throughput were deduced. After analyzing the performance of Bluetooth FH selected sequence, the original algorithm was replaced by the AES (Advanced Encryption Standard) algorithm. The theoretical analysis proved that the AES FH sequences selected algorithm could improve the WPAN throughput. The simulation results proved the theoretical analysis. The test result with ARM926EJs SoC (System on Chip) + RF (Radio Frequency) chip nRF2401 and CSR??s Bluecore4 Bluetooth module got the same conclusion. All of these could prove that the AES algorithm can improve the WPAN throughput efficiently. 相似文献
