多载波CDMA是OFDM和CDMA结合的综合技术,兼有OFDM和CDMA的优点,可以在无线信道中传送高速数据流,在频谱效率、频率分集、抗多径干扰等方面都能获得较大好处。首先介绍了OFDM的基本原理,给出MC-CDMA的系统模型,然后通过仿真,比较了OFDM系统和MC-CDMA系统的误码性能。结果表明,MC-CDMA系统性能优于OFDM系统,说明了OFDM和CDMA技术结合的必要性。  相似文献

为有效克服正交频分复用(OFDM)系统存在的不足,提高系统性能,将OFDM技术及单载波频域均衡(SC—FDE)技术分别与码分多址接入(CDMA)技术相结合,并在多输入多输出(MIMO)空间复用技术的高速率通信基础上,研究了相应的两种基带系统结构,讨论了系统所用的频域均衡算法及系数,最后给出性能仿真结果。结果表明,MIMO—SC—FDE—CDMA技术相结合能够更有效地提高系统性能,降低用户间干扰,有着良好的应用前景。  相似文献

短波通信是远距离信息传输的重要手段,OFDM(正交多载波调制)是一种在无线环境下具有较高频谱利用率的多载波调制技术。将OFDM技术应用于短波通信中,搭建了OFDM的试验平台,建立了短波通信链路,对接收端采集的基带OFDM信号进行了处理。通过编码和信道估计分别对信号进行纠错和信道补偿,处理结果表明,在传输速率600 b/s下系统的误比特率达到10-5数量级,系统性能良好。  相似文献

We propose a OFDM-CDMA system that employs polyphase codes to support variable spreading factors. A systematic approach for constructing the polyphase code sequences of variable spreading factors is developed. Polyphase codes exhibit better auto- and cross-correlation properties than Hadamard codes. When employed in OFDM-CDMA systems, polyphase codes result in certain structured multiple-access interference (MAI) caused by multipath. Analytical and numerical results show that OFDM-CDMA systems employing polyphase codes have better PAPR performance than those using Hadamard codes. The BER performance of the OFDM-CDMA system using polyphase codes is evaluated by numerical results and compared to that of the OFDM-CDMA system using Hadamard codes with and without clipping.  相似文献

In this paper, an OFDM-CDMA system employing various diversity schemes is considered for a possible candidate of broadband wireless access networks and broadcasting applications. With an emphasis on a preamble design for multi-channel separation, we address a channel estimation based on the time-domain windowing and its imperfectness in OFDM-based multiple-antenna transmission systems. By properly designing each preamble for multiple antennas to be orthogonal in the time domain, the channel estimation can be applied to the HIPERLAN/2 and IEEE 802.11a standards in the case of more than two transmit antennas. Also, the effect of diversity techniques on the performance of OFDM-CDMA based broadband wireless access networks is investigated and the maximum achievable diversity gain for a two-path Rayleigh fading environment is evaluated. Simulation results show that the OFDM-CDMA system applying a space-time-frequency diversity with a full-rate full diversity code can give the diversity of D=4 and D=8 for both multi-user cases of maximum user and half user capacities, respectively.  相似文献

This paper investigates the peak-to-average power ratio (PAR) reduction scheme employing a simple symbol transform in OFDM-CDMA systems. This approach is very simple because of no additional complexity and works without restriction on the allocation of spreading code, maintaining the original transmission efficiency. Simulation results show that the investigated scheme gives the PAR reduction gain of 2 /spl sim/ 3 dB compared to the original OFDM and OFDM-CDMA signals, and can provide the further PAR reduction by combining the selective mapping (SLM) and partial transmit sequence (PTS) schemes, which are less complex compared to the ordinary SLM and PTS approaches, respectively.  相似文献

The wireless approach to the last mile access (wireless local loop, known as WLL) is becoming increasingly attractive to network operators and service providers since it offers a flexible and cost-effective solution to enable delivery of even broadband services to end customers. In this paper, a full-blown broadband WLL network is presented. The proposal is based on the OFDM-CDMA technique, to which an added dynamic reservation/request MAC protocol is proposed, fully exploiting the OFDM-CDMA platform. Central to our proposal is the support of different QoS profiles, in the context of QoS aware networks. As a case study, the explicit presentation of the IETF integrated services support over our WLL system is addressed. An extensive performance evaluation focused on the MAC layer is then reported. We prove that our scheme achieves high utilization efficiency, as well as a fair share of the available radio capacity, even in the presence of highly heterogeneous traffic mix. Delay performance is provided for both reference traffic models, as well as for measured IP and MPEG traffic traces offered to the system  相似文献

To regulate the transmit-power and enhance the total throughput, a novel Transmit Power Control Game (TPCG) algorithm and an adaptive Modulation TPCG (M-TPCG) algorithm which combine bandwidth allocation, adaptive modulation and transmit-power control based on Space Time Block Coding (STBC) OFDM-CDMA system are designed and a cross-layer framework of database sharing is proposed. Simulation results show that the TPCG algorithm can regulate their transmitter powers and enhance the total throughput effectively, M-TPCG algorithm can achieve maximal system throughput. This paper addresses aspects of channel coding in orthogonal frequency-division multiplexing-code-division multiple access (OFDM-CDMA) uplink systems where each user occupies a bandwidth much larger than the information bit rate. This inherent bandwidth expansion allows the application of powerful low-rate codes under the constraint of low decoding costs. Three different coding strategies are considered: the combination of convolutional and repetition codes, the code-spread system consisting of one single very low-rate convolutional code and a serial concatenation of convolutional, Walsh-Hadamard and repetition code. The latter scheme is improved by combining the Walsh-Hadamard codes with an additional M-phase-shift keying modulation resulting in complex-valued Walsh-Hadamard codes (CWCs). Analytical performance evaluations will be given for these codes for the first time. The application of CWCs as inner codes in a serial code concatenation is also addressed. We derive a symbol-by-symbol maximum a posteriori decoding algorithm in the complex signal space in order to enable iterative decoding for the entire code. A comprehensive performance analysis by simulation of all the proposed coding schemes shows that the Walsh-Hadamard-based schemes are the best choice for low-to-medium system load. Note that even for fully loaded OFDM-CDMA systems, the concatenation with an inner complex-valued Walsh-Hadamard code leads to a bit-error rate less than 10/sup -5/ for an E/sub b//N/sub 0/ of about 6 dB.  相似文献
