为探究长江深水航道整治工程生态护岸的植被恢复效果,选取立体网状栅格护岸和格状石笼压载植生垫新型生态护岸及传统抛石护岸工程,运用数量生态学研究方法开展工程区陆生植物群落恢复及分布格局调查。研究结果表明:研究区共有植物19种,以草本植物为主,隶属于12科19属;生态护岸工程区植物种类数量高于传统抛石护岸;沿着河岸带横向梯度,立体网状栅格护岸的生物多样性增大,抛石护岸生物多样性变化较大,格状石笼压载植生垫护岸具有较高的生物多样性;生态护岸工程区植物群落的生物量高于传统抛石护岸区,且生物量和沉积物NH+4-N含量显著正相关(p<0.01);CCA分析表明沉积物中TC和NH+4-N含量对植物群落及物种分布影响较大。综合来看,格状石笼压载植生垫护岸植被恢复效果最好,立体网状栅格护岸次之,传统抛石护岸相对较差;研究区生态护岸的植被恢复还处于动态演替过程,其生态效应有待于长期深入研究。  相似文献

Ecological revetment for slope protection in urban rivers requires consideration of economic and ecological aspects and also of social aspects including recreation. Taking the Hunhe River as an example, our study established an evaluation system and a decision‐making method for evaluating and prioritizing the eco‐revetment projects. The Delphi method was used for collecting the opinions of experts, which include the relative importance of the indicators and the relative preference of the alternatives. The former was surveyed by pair comparison and processed applied analytic hierarchy process (AHP). The latter was described via linguistic variables, which need to be changed into the quantitative values for TOPSIS analysis. For that reason, we introduced the fuzzy set theory and established a fuzzy multi‐attribute decision‐making method based on TOPSIS to assess and prioritize the projects. The evaluation system includes economic, social, environment and ecological several aspects totalling eight indicators. The evaluating and prioritizing result of the projects shows that the three‐dimensional vegetation net is the best slope protection measures in the study area. The sensitivity analyses of indicator weights and different calculation methods were performed to demonstrate the reliability of the results. The sensitivity analyses indicate that construction cost and maintenance cost are dominant factors during the alternatives prioritization. The distance calculation method and normalization technique are insensitive to the prioritization results. The methodology proposed by this paper offers an effective and feasible tool for managers to evaluate and choose the optimal engineering measures of riverbank protection. The habitat templet approach was used in a scale‐sensitive bioindicator assessment for the ecological integrity of riverbanks and for specific responses to river management. Ground beetle habitat templets were derived from a catchment‐scale sampling, integrating the overall variety of bank types. This coarse‐filter analysis was integrated in the reach‐scale fine‐filtering approaches of community responses to habitat integrity and river management impacts. Higher species diversity was associated with the higher heterogeneity in bank habitats of the un‐navigable river reaches. The abundant presence of habitat specialists in the riverbank zone allows a habitat integrity assessment based on the habitat templet indicator species. Significant responses were detected for channel morphology in the width‐to‐depth ratio and for hydrological regime in peak frequency and peak velocity, enabling the development of evaluation methods for the impact assessment of river management and flood protection strategies. 利用River2D软件模拟了大连市大沙河多孔栖息单元式生态护岸修建后的水流状况和鱼类栖息地条件。为了选定护岸铺设的位置,以便达到最佳的河流恢复效果,把护岸铺设分为4种方案:方案一维持原貌,不铺设护岸;方案二在整个河段沿岸修建护岸;方案三在需要保护的地方修建河流护底;方案四护岸与护底同时修筑。对比了4种方案下鲤鱼流速适宜指数和河段权重可利用面积,指出了在不同流量下的护岸最佳铺设方式。结果表明利用软件进行数值模拟的方法可以弥补室内实验方法和实地观测方法的不足。  相似文献

This paper examines the feasibility of using multivariate statistics to model fish species distribution and habitat requirements for intermittent streams in semi‐arid regions, many of which are coming under increasing pressure from water resource development schemes. The assessment was based on the geographical distribution of six endemic fish species in the Guadiana river, a semi‐arid river system in southern Iberia. Their presence was related to 20 environmental variables linked to climate, geomorphology, riparian vegetation and location in the drainage basin. These variables were collected in the field or from topographical maps to evaluate habitat suitability and to predict the presence of the species according to season. Multivariate logistic regression in a geographic information system (GIS) environment was performed to identify regions with high probability of occurrence for each species. The variables that best explained the occurrence of the species were the sample location in the drainage basin, the geomorphology and the riparian vegetation. The models presented have a high predictive power and can be used in monitoring and predicting temporal changes caused by human activities. This modelling approach can be used to predict the areas that need to be conserved to protect or rehabilitate the endangered species. Armed with this information, managers can formulate conservation measures to prevent further degradation of the stocks and possibly enhance the populations. Hydro‐ecological stream classification—the process of grouping streams by similar hydrologic responses and, by extension, similar aquatic habitat—has been widely accepted and is considered by some to be one of the first steps towards developing ecological flow targets. A new classification of 1543 streamgauges in the contiguous USA is presented by use of a novel and parsimonious approach to understand similarity in ecological streamflow response. This novel classification approach uses seven fundamental daily streamflow statistics (FDSS) rather than winnowing down an uncorrelated subset from 200 or more ecologically relevant streamflow statistics (ERSS) commonly used in hydro‐ecological classification studies. The results of this investigation demonstrate that the distributions of 33 tested ERSS are consistently different among the classification groups derived from the seven FDSS. It is further shown that classification based solely on the 33 ERSS generally does a poorer job in grouping similar streamgauges than the classification based on the seven FDSS. This new classification approach has the additional advantages of overcoming some of the subjectivity associated with the selection of the classification variables and provides a set of robust continental‐scale classes of US streamgauges. 为研究不同生态护坡措施实施后其护坡效果随时间的变化情况,选取北京市昌平区朱辛庄水土保持示范基地内的4组不同护坡类型径流小区为研究对象,通过连续5 a的植被调查和人工模拟降雨实验研究,对各个护坡径流小区的植被状况以及产流和产沙数据进行了分析。结果显示:4种生态护坡实施后,随着时间推移,护坡植物种类会朝着当地土生植物种类发生演替,从而导致护坡的水土保持效果发生变化,每种生态护坡的效果各不相同;单一植物护坡容易受到植物演替规律的影响,而采用工程与植物措施相结合的护坡形式,水土保持效果则更为持久有效。研究成果可为今后生态护坡技术的推广应用提供借鉴。  相似文献

Flow regime characteristics (magnitude, frequency, duration, seasonal timing and rates of change) play a primary role in regulating the biodiversity and ecological processes in rivers. River classification provides the foundation for comparing the hydrologic regimes of rivers and development of hydro‐ecological relationships to inform environmental flow management and river restoration. This paper presents a classification of natural flow regimes and hydrologic changes due to dams and floodgates in the Huai River Basin, China, in preparation for an environmental flow assessment. The monthly natural flow regime of 45 stations in the upper and middle Huai River Basin were simulated for the period 1963–2000, based on the hydrological model SWAT (Soil and Water Assessment Tool). Six classes of flow patterns (low or high discharge, stable or variable, perennial or intermittent, predictable or unpredictable) were identified based on 80 hydrologic metrics, analysed by hierarchical clustering algorithms. The ecologically relevant climatic and geographic characteristics of these flow classes were tested for concordance with, and to strengthen, the hydro‐ecological classification. The regulation of natural flow patterns by dams and floodgates changed flows at some locations within each flow class and caused some gauges to shift into another class. The research reported here is expected to provide a foundation for development of hydro‐ecological relationships and environmental flow methods for wider use in China, as well as setting a new scientific direction for integrated river basin management in the Huai River Basin. This study sought to investigate the research question as to whether the growth and nutrient uptake of two invasive vines, Pueraria lobata and Sicyos angulatus, are affected by the heterogeneity of soil characteristics of two riverbank sites with different flooding regimes. Soil, individual ramets of P. lobata and S. angulatus plants were sampled monthly from quadrats set on homogenous stands from two riparian sites along Tama River, Japan for over a year. Soil nutrients, above‐ground (AGB) and below‐ground biomass (BGB), tissue nutrient, and nonstructural carbohydrate contents were estimated, and resource allocations to different organs were calculated. Flooding frequency directly affected the substrate characteristics of the sites; the frequently flooded site had coarser particle and less nutrient content. There were significant differences between the BGB and the AGB of both P. lobata and S. angulatus between the sites. However, the BGB:AGB ratio of these species were statistically similar regardless of the substrate conditions. Although the biomass of S. angulatus were much reduced in coarse habitat, the total amount of nutrient uptake by P. lobata was not affected by habitat the condition. Concentrations of total nitrogen, total phosphorus, and starch in root tissues of S. angulatus were less in frequently inundated soil. The results of this study suggest that inundation frequency directly affects the substrate condition of a riverbank habitat, which in turn affects plant growth, and invasive plant species growing in such habitat respond differently to substrate condition in terms of growth and nutrient uptake.  相似文献

在总结已有工作基础上,对生态需水、生态耗水、生态用水以及生态与环境的概念进行阐述。对生态需水的分类体系进行探讨,认为按空间的一级分类可分为河道内和河道外生态需水,若按尺度可分为宏观和微观生态需水。河道内生态需水又可分为水土保持需水、河道生态与环境需水、流域湿地保护需水、河口生态需水及地下水生态水位;河道外生态需水指城市生态环境需水、防护林体系需水、湿地补水等。介绍计算生态需水的6大基本程序:生态水文分区、分区生态功能识别、现状评价、确定管理目标、生态需水计算以及监测和管理。  相似文献
