Numerical research for contaminant release from un-suspended bottom sediment under different hydrodynamic conditions 总被引:1,自引:0,他引:1
Contaminant release from bottom sediments in rivers is one of the main problems to study the environmental hydrodynamics. Contaminant will release into the overlying water column under different hydrodynamic conditions through pore-water in sediment, the release mechanism can be roughly divided into convection diffusion, molecular diffusion and adsorption/desorption. In this article, phosphorus was as a typical contaminant with sorption. Through theoretical analysis of the contaminant release, according to different particle-sized and hydraulic conditions, the mathematics model of contaminant release can be established by the coupled Navier-Stokes equation, Darcy equation, solute transport equation and adsorption/desorption equation. Then that model was verified by flume experiment. Numerical studies show that, under different velocity, the instantaneous concentration of convection diffusion is about 6 times to 50 times larger than that of molecular diffusion during initial stages. The concentration of molecular diffusion is about 1 times to 4 times larger than to that of convection diffusion during late stages. Through analysis, the diffusive boundary layer near the interface can be obtained. In addition, the release will increase with particle size decreasing, and the release will be influenced much more by the size change when the particle size is relatively big under different velocity. 相似文献

Ti/SnO(2)-Sb(2)O(3)/SnO(2)-Sb(2)O(3)-CeO(2) anodes were prepared by brush coating with high temperature oxidation. The anodes were characterized by X-ray diffractometer (XRD), scanning electron microscope and cyclic voltammetry. The surface of the electrode shows more compact and exist shallower mud cracks than the others by coating with 1% Ce to the surface of Ti/SnO(2)-Sb(2)O(3) electrode. The XRD patterns show that as-prepared electrodes are SnO(2) and TiO(2). The electrode with 1% Ce dopant shows the highest efficiency in the electrolysis of caprolactam wastewater. The oxygen evolution potential is about 1.75 V, the removal rate of chemical oxygen demand is 50%, and the biochemical oxygen demand is 353 mg/L for 5 h at a current of 0.12 A. 相似文献

Medium-Term Hydro Generation Scheduling (MTHGS) plays an important role in the operation of hydropower systems. In the first place, this paper presents a Chance Constrained Model for solving the optimal MTHGS problem. The model recognizes the impact of inflow uncertainty and the constraints involving hydrologic parameters subjected to uncertainty are described as probabilistic statements. It aims at providing a more practical technique compared to the traditional deterministic approaches used for MTHGS. The stochastic inflow is expressed as a simple discrete-time Markov chain and Stochastic Dynamic Programming is adopted to solve the model. Then in order to use the information of long-term inflow forecast to improve dispatching decisions, a Dynamic Control Model is developed. Short-term forecast results of the current period and long-term forecast results of the remaining period are treated as inputs of the model. Finally, the two methods are applied to MTHGS of Xiluodu hydro plant in China. The results are compared to those obtained from Deterministic Dynamic Programming with hindsight and advantages and disadvantages of the two methods are analyzed. 相似文献
