The Murphree type stage and point efficiencies for any rate governed barrier separation process have been critically examined. Standart's plate efficiency definition and the concept of the rate of enriching mass transfer through the barrier have been utilised to propose new definitions of stage and point efficiencies in barrier separation processes with single entry separating elements. Expressions have been derived for the proposed point efficiency for various nonidealities encountered in some common barrier separation processes. An analytical relation between the proposed stage and point efficiencies has been developed for an ideal cross flow stage in a close separation barrier separation process. The procedure for estimating the proposed stage efficiency has been indicated also for a cross flow stage when the flux expressions through an ideal and a real barrier are known. 相似文献

The state of the art and trends in the production and application of barrier materials intended for preventing the infiltration of corrosive components (sodium, sodium fluoride, and molten aluminum) into the heat-insulating layer of refractories for the base plate of aluminum electrolysis cells are discussed. Results for different types of barrier materials tested for cryolitic stability are given; the granular composition and pore structure of some of them are studied. 以片状云母粉为阻隔改性剂,与高密度聚乙烯(PE–HD)熔融共混,以改善其对汽油的阻隔性,考察云母粉形貌、含量等因素对PE–HD/云母粉复合材料阻隔性、熔体流动性以及力学性能的影响。结果表明,云母粉可显著提高复合材料对汽油的阻隔性,但熔体流动速率(MFR)与断裂伸长率降幅明显,高径厚比的云母粉对复合材料的汽油阻隔性提升更为显著,但径厚比过大不利于阻隔性的进一步提升,并会导致材料MFR和断裂伸长率进一步下降;当云母粉含量开始增加时,复合材料的汽油阻隔性明显提升,拉伸强度与缺口冲击强度上升,而MFR和断裂伸长率下降,当裂纹发展方向垂直于云母片面积方向时,缺口冲击强度提高更为显著;随着云母粉含量继续增加,复合材料的汽油阻隔性趋于稳定,拉伸强度与缺口冲击强度却明显下降。当径厚比为180的云母粉质量分数为30%时,复合材料具有最佳的综合性能,其汽油浸泡后的拉伸强度保持率显著高于纯PE–HD。 相似文献

本文以环境障涂层专利数据为基础,从趋势、技术、地域、申请人四个维度研究分析了环境障涂层技术的发展过程和现状。分析结果表明:在发展趋势方面环境障涂层正处于较为活跃的研究发展阶段,并且随着陶瓷基复合材料的应用还将具有较为广阔的研究发展空间;在技术构成方面陶瓷涂层材料、制备工艺和应用领域是环境障涂层最主要的研究领域,并且从2014年开始环境障涂层逐渐成为国内外研究的热点;在地域分布方面环境障涂层技术的技术主导国是中国和美国,国外在材料、结构、工艺、应用等多个领域均有专利申请和布局,并且对于环境障涂层在航空发动机的应用更为关注,而中国目前主要集中于陶瓷涂层材料等基础研究领域;在申请人方面,国外申请人主要集中在GE、R-R等主流航空发动机公司,而国内主要集中在高校和研究院所,对环境障涂层技术持续研究和创新缺乏合理的规划,同时申请专利的质量还有待进一步提升。 相似文献

A robust diffusion barrier and metallization liner technology are critical for the realization of a functional and reliable interconnect structure. While copper barrier materials and processes have evolved significantly since the onset of copper-based metallization, the extendibility of existing barrier/liner solutions for use in emerging nanoscale interconnect structures faces a number of significant challenges related to the continued scaling of IC feature sizes. A key element in addressing these challenges includes developing an understanding of the mechanisms that lead to barrier failure and subsequent interconnect reliability deficiencies, and identifying how such mechanisms differ in the nanoscale regime from their counterparts at the microscale regime. In this respect, it is important that these distinctions serve as baseline in establishing the factors that determine the relevance and applicability of potential barrier solutions. Furthermore, it is critical to understand how these factors have evolved as barrier layers scaled to thicknesses of a few atoms. Accordingly, the current report outlines short- and long-term trends for these technologies. 相似文献

Copolymers of vinylidene chloride, SARAN* resins, can be fabricated into films which have excellent barrier to mass transport. They are useful for making packages which must keep oxygen out or prevent moisture from entering or leaving. The oxygen barrier properties of SARAN films have been recently published (8). The purpose of this paper is to describe the moisture barrier properties of SARAN films as functions of temperature, humidity, and film composition.
