This paper proposes a guaranteed feasible control allocation method based on the model predictive control. Feasible region is considered to guarantee the determination of the desired virtual control signal using the pseudo inverse methodology and is described as a set of constraints of an MPC problem. With linear models and the given constraints, feasible region defines a convex polyhedral in the virtual control space. In order to reduce the computational time, the polyhedral can be approximated by a few axis aligned hypercubes. Employing the MPC with rectangular constraints substantially reduces the computational complexity. In two dimensions, the feasible region can be approximated by a few rectangles of the maximum area using numerical geometry techniques which are considered as the constraints of the MPC problem. Also, an active MPC is defined as the controller to minimize the cost function in the control horizon. Finally, several simulation examples are employed to illustrate the effectiveness of the proposed techniques.  相似文献

Networked control system is a new hot-point in control engineering. The reduction of bandwidth necessitated by the communication network in a networked control system is the major concern. For this reason, a method of reducing the number of data packet exchanges between the sensor and the controller/actuator is explored. This paper relates to the design of a control system for a mechanical system which contains an unstable mode and to an experiment for demonstrating that the control theory may be applied to practical real systems. In this paper the object treated is the control of the pendulum-cart system, which has been studied by many control theorists and engineers as an inverted pendulum problem, and a composite control system is designed not only to stabilize the inverted pendulum but to swing the pendulum from the natural pendent position up to the inverted position, which is actually made. In this paper, we use the matrix measure technique to study stable fault-tolerance control of networked control systems. State feedback networked control systems with the network-induced delay, parameter uncertainties, sensor failures and actuator failures are considered. State feedback gain K is designed for any invariant delay T, and some theorems and sufficient conditions for stable fault-tolerance control are given. This paper summarizes recent progress by the authors in developing two solution frame-works for dual control. The first solution framework considers a class of dual control problems where there exists a parameter uncertainty in the observation equation of the LQG problem. An analytical active dual control law is derived by a variance minimization approach. The issue of how to determine an optimal degree of active learning is then addressed, thus achieving an optimality for this class of dual control problems. The second solution framework considers a general class of discrete-time LQG problems with unknown parameters in both state and observation equations. The best possible (partial) closed-loop feedback control law is derived by exploring the future nominal posterior probabilities, thus taking into account the effect of future learning when constructing the optimal nominal dual control.  相似文献

This paper proposes a new method for model predictive control (MPC) of nonlinear systems to calculate stability region and feasible initial control profile/sequence, which are important to the implementations of MPC. Different from many existing methods, this paper distinguishes stability region from conservative terminal region. With global linearization, linear differential inclusion (LDI) and linear matrix inequality (LMI) techniques, a nonlinear system is transformed into a convex set of linear systems, and then the vertices of the set are used off-line to design the controller, to estimate stability region, and also to determine a feasible initial control profile/sequence. This paper classifies software researches as theoretical researches, experimental researches, and engineering researches, and is mainly concerned with the experimental researches with focus on software reliability experimentation and control. The state-of-the-art of experimental or empirical studies is reviewed. A new experimentation methodology is proposed, which is largely theory discovering oriented. Several unexpected results of experimental studies are presented to justify the importance of software reliability experimentation and control.
