为了满足特殊人群正常阅读纸质书籍的需要,设计了一个基于Kinect图像识别的翻书机设计方案,利用图像处理技术和负压吸附原理,实现了非接触式翻书功能.设计最大的特点在于采用了微软公司Kinect系统实时捕捉用户肢体动作,并根据用户动作对其意图进行判断,从而准确、及时地发出翻书指令.同时,本设计采用简洁高效的机械结构以及负压吸附原理来实现翻书动作,克服了传统翻书机结构复杂、翻书动作繁琐的缺点.经测试,翻书机能够较好地实现翻书功能,指令识别准确率高、翻书成功率高,具有较好的应用前景. 相似文献

The book industry is undergoing a digital transformation enabled by the Internet and e-book technology, which offers a novel channel for delivering books to consumers who mostly purchase paper books from physical or online bookstores. With a game theory model that introduces the concepts of paper book market asymmetry and e-book market asymmetry, we examine how the entry of an e-book seller affects strategic interaction in the book markets and impacts sellers and consumers. We show that market asymmetries, ownership of the e-book seller, and consumers’ preferences for e-books are important determinants of prices, market shares and total book readership. We find that prices in the book market may increase after the e-book entry. Total readership may decrease after e-book entry, if the e-book seller is owned by one of the paper book sellers. The lowest total readership occurs when the online paper book seller owns the e-book seller. 相似文献

The MagicBook project is an early attempt to explore how we can use a physical object to smoothly transport users between reality and virtuality. Young children often fantasize about flying into the pages of a fairy tale and becoming part of the story. The MagicBook project makes this fantasy a reality using a normal book as the main interface object. People can turn the pages of the book, look at the pictures, and read the text without any additional technology. However, if a person looks at the pages through an augmented reality display, they see 3D virtual models appearing out of the pages. The models appear attached to the real page so users can see the augmented reality scene from any perspective by moving themselves or the book. The virtual content can be any size and is animated, so the augmented reality view is an enhanced version of a traditional 3D pop-up book. 相似文献

Newer interaction techniques enable users to explore interfaces in a more natural and intuitive way. However, we do not yet have a scientific understanding of their contribution to user experience and theoretical mechanisms underlying the impact. This study examines how a naturally mapped interface, page-flipping interface, can influence user learning and attitudes. An online experiment with two conditions (page flipping vs. clicking) tests the impact of this naturally mapped interaction technique on user learning and attitudes. The result shows that the page-flipping feature creates more positive evaluations of the website in terms of usability and engagement, as well as greater behavioral intention towards the website by evoking greater perception of natural mapping and greater feeling of presence. In terms of learning outcomes, however, participants who flip through the online magazine show less recall and recognition memory, unless they perceive page flipping as more natural and intuitive to interact with. Participants perceive the same content as more credible when they flip through the content, but only if they appreciate the coolness of the medium. Theoretical and practical implications will be discussed. 相似文献
