In this paper, we develop a distributed design method for power system stabilizers (PSSs) that improve damping performance for deflections caused by contingencies in a power grid in which large-scale PV penetration is introduced. We suppose that there are multiple independent system operators in a grid and each system operator designs a PSS based on the corresponding subsystem model information alone. The controller design method for PSSs under the restriction on available model information is called distributed design. Although practical distributed design methods are typically based on single-machine infinite-bus system, the problem here is that the designed controller possibly destabilizes the grid. In this paper, we propose a novel distributed design method for power grids based on retrofit control theory. The designed PSS can theoretically guarantee the stability of power grids and also improves damping performance. Through a numerical example for the IEEJ EAST 30-machine power system, the effectiveness of our proposed method is verified compared with the conventional method.  相似文献

In this article, we propose a design method for an inverted pendulum system with a structured uncertainty. We consider that such an uncertainty is caused by a measurement error in the rotation angle of the pendulum and effects on the system structure that cannot be included in the nominal elements. For the uncertain system obtained, we apply an integral tracking control and the guaranteed cost control to design a robust, stable, tracking control system. 起重机设计因为客户定制成分较多,一般采用根据订单的个性化设计方法,从而造成设计周期长、设计错误多的问题。鉴于此提出了一种快速设计系统的方法和架构,用数据库存储设计知识,用产品配置的方法智能选取外购件和部分零部件,模型基于Solidworks三维软件建立,采用Visual Basic进行驱动。实践证明应用此系统使得设计速度及准确率大大提高,达到了设计要求。  相似文献

In this paper, we propose a robust controller design method for a linear time invariant system which combines two methods. The first one is referred as guaranteed cost control, that is one kind of a robust design method for the system with structured uncertainty. It gives a robust stable feedback law, which guarantees an existence of the upper bound for the effect of a perturbation. The second one is called prescribed degree of stability. For a nominal system, by a transformation of a state and input vector, it can relocate all the poles of the closed-loop system to leftward in the complex plane, after a design procedure based on the cost minimization like the linear quadratic regulator. Thus, our proposed method is able to design a robust stable controller, and it can also adjust the system characteristics on the complex plane. At last, we show the validity of our proposed method through the numerical example.  相似文献

In this paper, for a networked linear hyperbolic partial differential equations (PDEs) system of conservation laws, the propagation periods of which are rationally dependent, with coupled boundary conditions, we propose a novel approach to analyze its controllability and observability. In addition, we propose a design method of a stabilizing controller, where a boundary-input with boundary-valued feedback is considered. First, we characterize the control properties, such as controllability of such a PDE system, in terms of the corresponding ones of a finite-dimensional discrete-time system defined on the boundaries of the PDE system, which is derived by fully exploiting the method of characteristics. Since the obtained discrete-time system is low-dimensional, its analysis is relatively easier. Next, we propose a design method of a stabilizing controller based on this discrete-time system. Finally, numerical simulations are presented to show that the proposed method is effective.  相似文献

This paper presents a new causal design knowledge evaluation method and system for future CAD applications. Current product development processes still include unintended feedback due to insufficient product design knowledge. Previous research on design knowledge support system focuses on search by matching keywords and file names, or search by specific indices, which has various drawbacks. Furthermore, current CAD systems need manual input to incorporate the designer’s knowledge. To systematize the knowledge management process for the next-generation CAD systems, a prerequisite is to capture ever-evolving causal design knowledge. In this paper, we present a new causal knowledge network evaluation method, which has not been well addressed in design knowledge support system research. For the network evaluation, we present a degree of causal representation (DCR)-based knowledge network evaluation method. In this method, causality and network connectivity are used for the causal knowledge network with weighted vertices and weighted network connectivity for a network with weighted edges. To validate the proposed method, this evaluation method has been compared with structural measures. Finally, the causal design knowledge evaluation system, KNOES, is implemented and tested with a new valve design scenario.  相似文献
