In order to attain excellent stability and maneuverability to ensure safety and ride‐comfort, the lateral velocity and yaw rate of a vehicle are expected to be controlled at any desired values simultaneously. A basic manipulation model of a vehicle with two degrees of freedom which requires two independent control inputs (front and rear steering angle) is constructed. In this model, we consider the mass and the moment of inertia of the vehicle are the uncertain parameters which are (possibly) fast‐varying. However, no further information, except that the uncertainties are bounded, is assumed. Furthermore, the bound is unknown. An adaptive robust control methodology based on the Udwadia and Kalaba approach which guarantees uniform boundedness and uniform ultimate boundedness is proposed to drive the system to follow the pre‐specified constraints approximately. The adaptive law is of leakage type which can adjust itself based on the tracking error. The numerical simulation results conducted by MATLAB demonstrate the ease and effectiveness of implementation.  相似文献

In this paper, a novel adaptive fuzzy control scheme is proposed for a class of uncertain single-input and single-output (SISO) nonlinear time-delay systems with the lower triangular form. Fuzzy logic systems are used to approximate unknown nonlinear functions, then the adaptive fuzzy tracking controller is constructed by combining Lyapunov-Krasovskii functionals and the backstepping approach. The proposed controller guarantees uniform ultimate boundedness of all the signals in the closed-loop system, while the tracking error converges to a small neighborhood of the origin. An advantage of the proposed control scheme lies in that the number of adaptive parameters is not more than the order of the systems under consideration. Finally, simulation studies are given to demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed design scheme.  相似文献

This paper proposes an adaptive tracking control with prescribed performance function for distributive cooperative control of highly nonlinear multi-agent systems. The use of such approach confines the tracking error within a large predefined set to a predefined smaller set. The key idea is to transform the constrained system into unconstrained one through the transformation of the output error. Agents’ dynamics are assumed unknown, and the controller is developed for a strongly connected structured network. The proposed controller allows all agents to follow the trajectory of the leader node, while satisfying the necessary dynamic requirements. The proposed approach guarantees uniform ultimate boundedness for the transformed error as well as a bounded adaptive estimate of the unknown parameters and dynamics. Simulations include two examples to validate the robustness and smoothness of the proposed controller against highly nonlinear heterogeneous multi-agent system with uncertain time-variant parameters and external disturbances.  相似文献

In this paper, a novel robust adaptive trajectory tracking control scheme with prescribed performance is developed for underactuated autonomous underwater vehicles (AUVs) subject to unknown dynamic parameters and disturbances. A simple error mapping function is proposed in order to guarantee that the trajectory tracking error satisfies the prescribed performance. A novel additional control based on Nussbaum function is proposed to handle the underactuation of AUVs. The compounded uncertain item caused by the unknown dynamic parameters and disturbances is transformed into a linear parametric form with only single unknown parameter called virtual parameter. On the basis of the above, a novel robust adaptive trajectory tracking control law is developed using dynamic surface control technique, where the adaptive law online provides the estimation of the virtual parameter. Strict stability analysis indicates that the designed control law ensures uniform ultimate boundedness of the AUV trajectory tracking closed‐loop control system with prescribed tracking performance. Simulation results on an AUV in two different disturbance cases with dynamic parameter perturbation verify the effectiveness of our adaptive trajectory tracking control scheme.  相似文献

A linear memoryless controller is developed for a class of uncertain linear time-delay systems to track dynamic inputs of a non-delay reference model. For matched uncertainties, the controller designed guarantees uniform ultimate boundedness of the tracking error, and the error bound can be made arbitrarily small. For mismatched uncertainties a condition is derived under which the controller designed ensures ultimate boundedness of the tracking error. However, in this case there is no control over the tracking error bound. Finally, examples are included to illustrate the results developed in this paper  相似文献

In this paper, we address the control problem of an uncertain robotic manipulator with input saturations. For this purpose, a model reference adaptive control like (MRAC-like) approach is proposed to solve the problem. The model reference enjoyed input to state stable (ISS) property and driven by the current control signal is introduced. A combination of the regressor and non-regressor based approaches is used to estimate the uncertain parameters. The resulting controller ensures that the control signals satisfy the input saturations. In addition, the semi-global uniform ultimate boundedness of the closed-loop system is guaranteed and the tracking error converges to the compact set which depends on the predetermined bound of the control inputs. Simulation on a planar elbow manipulator with two joints is provided to illustrate the effectiveness of the proposed control design.  相似文献

This paper considers the trajectory tracking problem for uncertain robot manipulators and proposes two adaptive controllers as solutions to this problem. The first controller is derived under the assumption that the manipulator state is measurable, while the second strategy is developed for those applications in which only position measurements are available. The adaptive schemes are very general and computationally efficient since they do not require knowledge of either the mathematical model or the parameter values of the manipulator dynamics, and are implemented without calculation of the robot inverse dynamics or inverse kinematic transformation. It is shown that the control strategies ensure uniform boundedness of all signals in the presence of bounded disturbances, and that the ultimate size of the tracking errors can be made arbitrarily small. Experimental results are presented for a PUMA 560 manipulator and demonstrate that accurate and robust trajectory tracking can be achieved by using the proposed controllers.  相似文献

This paper proposes a robust control law for n-link robot manipulators with parametric uncertainty whose upper bound is not assumed to be known. The proposed robust control based on the Corless-Leitmann approach includes a simple estimation law for the upper bound on the parametric uncertainty and an additional control input to be updated as a function of the estimated value. Using the Lyapunov stability theory, the uniform ultimate boundedness of the tracking error is proved  相似文献

A novel robust adaptive controller for multi-input multi-output (MIMO) feedback linearizable nonlinear systems possessing unknown nonlinearities, capable of guaranteeing a prescribed performance, is developed in this paper. By prescribed performance we mean that the tracking error should converge to an arbitrarily small residual set, with convergence rate no less than a prespecified value, exhibiting a maximum overshoot less than a sufficiently small prespecified constant. Visualizing the prescribed performance characteristics as tracking error constraints, the key idea is to transform the ldquoconstrainedrdquo system into an equivalent ldquounconstrainedrdquo one, via an appropriately defined output error transformation. It is shown that stabilization of the ldquounconstrainedrdquo system is sufficient to solve the stated problem. Besides guaranteeing a uniform ultimate boundedness property for the transformed output error and the uniform boundedness for all other signals in the closed loop, the proposed robust adaptive controller is smooth with easily selected parameter values and successfully bypasses the loss of controllability issue. Simulation results on a two-link robot, clarify and verify the approach.  相似文献

This paper describes the design of a robust adaptive fuzzy controller for an uncertain single‐input single‐output nonlinear dynamical systems. While most recent results on fuzzy controllers considers affine systems with fixed rule‐base fuzzy systems, we propose a control scheme for non‐affine nonlinear systems and a dynamic fuzzy rule activation scheme in which an appropriate number of the fuzzy rules are chosen on‐line. By using the proposed scheme, we can reduce the computation time, storage space, and dynamic order of the adaptive fuzzy system without significant performance degradation. The Lyapunov synthesis approach is used to guarantee a uniform ultimate boundedness property for the tracking error, as well as for all other signals in the closed loop. No a priori knowledge of an upper bounds on the uncertainties is required. The theoretical results are illustrated through a simulation example. Copyright © 2002 John Wiley & Sons, Ltd.  相似文献

This paper presents an adaptive output-feedback control method for non-affine nonlinear non-minimum phase systems that have partially known Lipschitz continuous functions in their arguments. The proposed controller is comprised of a linear, a neuro-adaptive and an adaptive robustifying control term. The adaptation law for the neural network weights is obtained using the Lyapunov’s direct method. One of the main advantageous of the proposed method is that the control law does not depend on the state estimation. This task is accomplished by introducing a strictly positive-real augmented error dynamic and using the Leftshetz–Kalman–Yakobuvich lemma. The ultimate boundedness of the error signals will be shown analytically using the extension of Lyapunov theory. The effectiveness of the proposed scheme will be shown in simulations for the benchmark problem Translational Oscillator/Rotational Actuator (TORA) system.  相似文献

Adaptive fuzzy-based tracking control designs are proposed in the paper for both holonomic mechanical systems as well as a large class of nonholonomic mechanical systems with plant uncertainties and external disturbances. A unified and systematic procedure is employed to derive the controllers for both holonomic and nonholonomic mechanical control systems, respectively. First, a fuzzy logic system is introduced to learn the behavior of unknown (or uncertain) mechanical dynamics by using an adaptive algorithm. Next, the effect of approximation error on the tracking error must be efficiently eliminated by employing an additional robustifying algorithm. Consequently, hybrid adaptive-robust controllers can be constructed such that the resulting closed-loop mechanical systems guarantee a satisfactorily transient and asymptotic performance. Furthermore, a partitioned procedure with respect to the above developed adaptive fuzzy logic approximators is introduced such that the number of fuzzy IF-THEN rules is significantly reduced and the developed control schemes can be easily implemented from the viewpoint of practical applications. Finally, simulation examples are presented to illustrate the tracking performance of a two-link constrained robot manipulator and a vertical wheel rolling on a plane surface by the proposed adaptive fuzzy-based control algorithms  相似文献

Adaptive neural control of nonlinear MIMO systems with unknown time delays   总被引:1,自引:0,他引:1
In this paper, a novel adaptive NN control scheme is proposed for a class of uncertain multi-input and multi-output (MIMO) nonlinear time-delay systems. RBF NNs are used to tackle unknown nonlinear functions, then the adaptive NN tracking controller is constructed by combining Lyapunov-Krasovskii functionals and the dynamic surface control (DSC) technique along with the minimal-learning-parameters (MLP) algorithm. The proposed controller guarantees uniform ultimate boundedness (UUB) of all the signals in the closed-loop system, while the tracking error converges to a small neighborhood of the origin. An advantage of the proposed control scheme lies in that the number of adaptive parameters for each subsystem is reduced to one, triple problems of “explosion of complexity”, “curse of dimension” and “controller singularity” are solved, respectively. Finally, a numerical simulation is presented to demonstrate the effectiveness and performance of the proposed scheme.  相似文献

In this research, a novel extension of the passivity‐based output feedback trajectory tracking controller is developed for internally damped Euler‐Lagrange systems with input saturation. Compared with the previous output feedback controllers, this new design of a combined adaptive controller‐observer system will reduce the risk of actuator saturation effectively via generalized saturation functions. Semi‐global uniform ultimate boundedness stability of the tracking errors and state estimation errors is guaranteed by Lyapunov stability analysis. An application of the proposed saturated output feedback controller is the stabilization of a nonholonomic wheeled mobile robot with saturated actuators towards desired trajectories. Simulation results are provided to illustrate the efficiency of the proposed controller in dealing with the actuator saturation.  相似文献
