设计自动化技术已为工业界所广泛应用,并已从辅助设计过程的后期阶段向辅助概念设计阶段推进。在概念设计阶段实现设计自动化,其核心问题首先是建立计算机支持的产品概念模型。本文在研究概念设计模型的基础上,提出并探讨了一个计算机支持的模型结构及建模过程,最后采用C++语言研制了一个原型。  相似文献

改进了以往采用数学函数生成初始构件的概念设计过程,提出了一种基于分形的交互式创新概念设计系统的实现方法。给出了一个建筑造型创新设计实例:初始化种群先经分形化的嵌套、拟态等操作再进化计算,使生成的建筑体具有分形自相似的特征。实验表明,分形在创新进化系统中有很好的应用前景。  相似文献

概念设计是设计中最重要的阶段之一,在概念设计阶段将完成从功能到功能原理解的映射过程,包含了设计中的大部分重要决策问题。在把用户需求转化为总功能后,要对总功能进行分解,直到不能分解为止,然后利用设计目录对子功能求解,获得相应的功能原理解,最后进行综合获得概念设计原理方案。本文在这个过程模型的基础上研究了面向计算机的概念设计模型、设计目录方法和概念设计过程模型,为计算机辅助概念设计提供了一套切实可行的方法。  相似文献

The development of new products of high quality,low unit cost,and short lead time to market are the key elements required for any enterprise to obtain a competitive advantage.For shorting the lead time to market and improving the creativity and performances of the product,a rule-based conceptual design approach and a methodology to simulate the conceptual design results generated in conceptual design process in automatical virtual entity form are presented in this paper.This part of paper presents a rule-based conceptual design method for generating creative conceptual design schemes of mechanisms based on Yan's kinematic chain regeneration creative design method.The design rules are adopted to describe the design requirements of the functional characteristics,the connection relationships and topological characteristics among mechanisms.Through the graphs-based reasoning process,the conceptual design space is expanded extremely,and the potential creative conceptual design results are then dug out.By refining the design rules,the solution exploration problem is avioded,and the tendentious conceptual design schemes are generated.Since mechanical,electrical and hydraulic subsystems can be transformed into general mechansims,the conceptual design method presented in this paper can also be applied in the conceptual design problem of complex mechatronic systems.And then the method to identify conceptual design schemes is given.  相似文献

Furthermore, existing approaches towards a computer aided conceptual design are insufficiently integrated with the downstream applications of the product development process. Although there have been many advances in computer-aided modelling techniques and representations of mechanical parts, there are areas where exact modelling is a handicap. One of these is 3D layout design. Here, simpler models are useful for initial design sketches to verify kinematic behaviour and organise product structure before the detailed component design phase begins. A commitment to exact, or close approximational geometry too early can imply a commitment to form before functionality has been finalised. This paper describes a system for top-down 3D layout design based on simple conceptual elements which can be used as a basis for visualisation, discussion, definition of product structure and kinematic functionality in the conceptual design phase before the embodiment or detailing begins. This tool forms a bridge between the abstract nature of the conceptual design phase and the geometric nature of the embodiment phase. The 3D layout module uses design spaces with simple geometry and kinematic connections to represent a product. The design spaces act as containers or envelopes within which the final component design is to be realised. The kinematic connections allow the behaviour of the product to be simulated to gain more information (such as overall component dimensions and areas of potential collisions) for the detailed design phase. In addition the paper describes the design process based on the proposed 3D layout design system and contrasts this with the traditional design process. An industrial case study is presented to illustrate the following advantages of the proposed approach: (i) the design process proceeds faster because unnecessary layout parameter and constraint modifications are avoided since kinematic functionality verification precedes the detail design, (ii) the design process can produce better designs since alternative solution principles can be explored early in the design process. Theoretical issues are discussed concerning kinematic constraint inheritance during design space decomposition and concerning computer support for non-rigid design spaces.  相似文献

Because innovative and creative design is essential to a successful product, this work brings the benefits of generative design in the conceptual phase of the product development process so that designers/engineers can effectively explore and create ingenious designs and make better design decisions. We proposed a state-of-the-art generative design technique (GDT), called Space-filling-GDT (Sf-GDT), for the creation of innovative designs. The proposed Sf-GDT has the ability to create variant optimal design alternatives for a given computer-aided design (CAD) model. An effective GDT should generate design alternatives that cover the entire design space. Toward that end, the criterion of space-filling is utilized, which uniformly distribute designs in the design space thereby giving a designer a better understanding of possible design options. To avoid creating similar designs, a weighted-grid-search approach is developed and integrated into the Sf-GDT. One of the core contributions of this work lies in the ability of Sf-GDT to explore hybrid design spaces consisting of both continuous and discrete parameters either with or without geometric constraints. A parameter-free optimization technique, called Jaya algorithm, is integrated into the Sf-GDT to generate optimal designs. Three different design parameterization and space formulation strategies; explicit, interactive, and autonomous, are proposed to set up a promising search region(s) for optimization. Two user interfaces; a web-based and a Windows-based, are also developed to utilize Sf-GDT with the existing CAD software having parametric design abilities. Based on the experiments in this study, Sf-GDT can generate creative design alternatives for a given model and outperforms existing state-of-the-art techniques.  相似文献

Generation of Product Concept needs to give full play to the designers' innovative potential and collaborative work of experts in different fields. However, the collaborative innovative capabilities of geographically distributed designers are often limited and hindered by space and time. Therefore, on the basis of the requirements analysis of Internet based collaborative conceptual design and the research work we have done, this paper proposes the overall framework of supporting collaborative conceptual design on Internet. Based on this overall framework, the authors further put forward collaborative conceptual design process model that includes three stages: concept generation, concept communication and optimal product concept selection. At the end of the paper, the experiment environment of collaborative design is described. The overall framework and collaborative conceptual design process model proposed can take full advantage of Internet and give full play to experts' experiences and wisdom, so that the rapid development and innovative design of product can be provided with effectively and efficiently implemental mode and support on Internet.  相似文献
