基于Web服务的异构数据交换方案能够解决互联网环境下跨编程语言、跨操作系统的异构数据交换问题。基于Web服务架构,设计了一个层次式的异构数据交换方案,并利用XML技术以及SUN公司的JWSDP完成了一个异构数据交换原型系统,它实现了关系数据库异构数据的自描述和分布式环境下的交换与共享。同时,详细介绍了其核心模块——XML模式与关系模式的转换。 相似文献

The Internet provides a universal platform for large-scale distribution of information and supports inter-organizational services, system integration, and collaboration. Use of multimedia documents for dissemination and sharing of massive amounts of information is becoming a common practice for Internet-based applications and enterprises. With the rapid proliferation of multimedia data management technologies over the Internet, there is growing concern about security and privacy of information. Composing multimedia documents in a distributed heterogeneous environment involves integrating media objects from multiple security domains that may employ different access control policies for media objects. In this paper, we present a security model for distributed document management system that allows creation, storage, indexing, and presentation of secure multimedia documents. The model is based on a time augmented Petri-net and provides a flexible, multilevel access control mechanism that allows clearance-based access to different levels of information in a document. In addition, the model provides detailed multimedia synchronization requirements including deterministic and non-deterministic temporal relations and incomplete timing information among media objects. 相似文献

Although the distributed multimedia information system is getting popular nowadays, existing database systems do not offer adequate support to structural nor behavioral extension of multimedia objects. Moreover, the multifaceted nature of multimedia data has seldom been investigated. Besides the flexibility for multimedia authoring tools, dynamic extension and multifacet modeling can in general ease the task on integrating the multimedia information of heterogeneous formats over a distributed network. This paper presents the support of dynamic extension and multifacet modeling of multimedia objects in a client-server, object-role database system called DOOR. The resultant system, with multimedia functionalities, is named as DOOR/MM (DOOR with multimedia extensions). First, the underlying data model for DOOR is summarized. We then present the extension of the data model, by means of meta-object protocol (MOP), to implement the metaclasses for multimedia objects. In DOOR, objects are structured as a tree of roles. Each role may carry different properties and interact with other roles cooperatively. An object may acquire or drop multiple roles during its lifetime. Structural and behavioral extensions of multimedia objects are achieved by dynamic role playing. Multifaceted interfaces of an multimedia object are modeled by means of views on roles. In particular, we discuss different ways of using views to model different abstraction levels of the heterogeneous multimedia resources. Throughout the paper, examples such as text, bitmap, MIDI, and 3D graphic objects are used to demonstrate the significance of our approach. 相似文献

In many applications, the information required by the user cannot be found in just one source, but has to be retrieved from many varying sources. This is true not only of formatted data in database management systems, but also of textual documents and multimedia data, such as images and videos. We propose a mediator system that provides the end-user with a single query interface to an integrated view of multiple heterogeneous data sources. We exploit the capabilities of the MOMIS integration system and the MILOS multimedia data management system. Each multimedia source is managed by an instance of MILOS, in which a collection of multimedia records is made accessible by means of similarity searches employing the query-by-example paradigm. MOMIS provides an integrated virtual view of the underlying multimedia sources, thus offering unified multimedia access services. Two features are that MILOS is flexible—it is not tied to any particular similarity function—and the MOMIS’s mediator query processor only exploits the ranks of the local answers. 相似文献

Current DRM systems use the Authorized Domain concept to allow sharing of DRM-enabled multimedia contents across multiple devices. However, some devices in an authorized domain may support only a limited number of DRM systems of the content providers due to their heterogeneous capabilities. Lack of interoperability among DRM systems enforces these devices to stick to a common DRM system which restricts the sharing of different DRM-enabled multimedia contents among them. Most of the current solutions use a translation entity to provide interoperability among different DRM standards with a trust assumption over that entity. This assumption may not assure the content providers that their contents and licenses will be translated and distributed in a secure and legal way. In this paper, we propose a secure interoperable content distribution mechanism for commercial and user generated contents among multiple authorized domains without any trust assumption on the translation entity. 相似文献
