电子剪报系统-EPCutter的设计和实现

介绍了一个剪报资料处理和检索系统EPCutter(Electronic Press Cutter)，它包括3个子系统：剪报资料处理子系统，网上智能代理子系统和全文数据库检索子系统，网上智能代理子系统利用数据挖掘技术和智能自主代理技术，自动从Web上挖掘出用户感兴趣的信息，全文数据库采用了字索引和词索引相结合的索引检索方法，从而大大提高了检索速度，查全率，查准率，此外还提出了一个统计模型，可对剪报来源作出评价以辅助用户决策。     

论智能代理在网络教学中的应用

众所周知,Ｄｅｌｐｈｉ作为ＲＡＤ工具,因其高效的编译器、友好的可视化界面而大受青睐,在数据库、多媒体,网络等系统的开发中得到了广泛的应用。本文从多媒体系统应用的需求出发,针对标准ＣｈｅｃｋＢｏｘ控件的不足,提出了改进的构想,设计了一个新的、真正图形化的ＣｈｅｃｋＢｏｘ控件－ＭｙＣｈｅｃｋＢｏｘ,并在Ｄｅｌｐｈｉ４中实现了该控件。该控件无论从外观上,还是功能上,均超过了标准ＣｈｅｃｋＢｏｘ控件。

NCSWT: An integrated modeling and simulation tool for networked control systems

Networked Control Systems (NCS) are becoming increasingly ubiquitous in a growing number of applications, such as groups of unmanned aerial vehicles and industrial control systems. The evaluation of NCS properties such as stability and performance is very important given that these systems are typically deployed in critical settings. This paper presents the Networked Control Systems Wind Tunnel (NCSWT), an integrated modeling and simulation tool for the evaluation of Networked Control Systems (NCS). NCSWT integrates Matlab/Simulink and ns-2 for modeling and simulation of NCS using the High Level Architecture (HLA) standard. The tool is composed of two parts, the design-time models and the run-time components. The design-time models use Model Integrated Computing (MIC) to define HLA-based model constructs such as federates representing the simulators and interactions representing the communication between the simulators. MIC techniques facilitate the modeling and design of complex systems by using abstractions defined in domain-specific modeling languages (DSMLs) to describe the systems. The design-time models represent the control system dynamics and networking system behaviors in order to facilitate the run-time simulation of a NCS. The run-time components represent the main software components and interfaces for the actual realization of a NCS simulation using the HLA framework. Our implementation of the NCSWT based on HLA guarantees accurate time synchronization and data communication. Two case studies are presented to demonstrate the capabilities of the tool as well as evaluate the impact of network effects on NCS.     

System Integration Techniques of Sharing and Collaboration among Work-groups, Computers and Processes

Systems Engineering (SE) and Concurrent Engineering (CE) implies sharing of information, data, process and knowledge [20] across different levels in an enterprise. Division of work into classes and then to the work-groups or to the concurrent sub-teams is one form of sharing large organizations like Ford Motor and General Motors have used [29]. Other forms of sharing are governed by the state of computer communications, workstation and database technologies [9]. For accomplishing the needed collaboration (and to facilitate concurrent engineering), several concepts and models for work-group computing were tried at Delphi Divisional units of Electronic Data Systems (EDS) and General Motors. Based on such experiences, the paper describes Systems Engineering and CE techniques for sharing information in a concurrent engineering organization, which has been found most effective for collaborating knowledge among a set of multidisciplinary work-groups, array of computers and processes.

Information systems security research agenda: Exploring the gap between research and practice

This paper undertakes a systematic review of the Information Systems Security literature. The literature review consists of three parts: First, we perform topic modeling of major Information Systems journals to understand the field's debates. Second, we conduct a Delphi Study composed of the Chief Information Security Officers of major corporations in the US to identify security issues that they view as important. Third, we compare Topic Modeling and the Delphi Study results and discuss key debates, gaps, and contradictions within the academic literature. Further, extant Information Systems Security literature is reviewed to discuss where the academic community has placed the research emphasis and what is now required in the discipline. Based on our analysis, we propose a future agenda for Information Systems security research.

Development of a Framework to Determine a Mandatory Safety Baseline for Unmanned Aircraft Systems

Unmanned Aircraft Systems (UAS) emerge as a viable, operational technology for potential civil and commercial applications in the National Airspace System (NAS). Although this new type of aircraft presents great potential, it also introduces the need for a thorough inquiry into its safety impact on the NAS. This study presents a systems-level approach to analyze the safety impact of introducing a new technology, such as UAS, into the NAS. Utilizing Safety Management Systems (SMS) principles and existing regulatory structure, this paper outlines a methodology to determine a mandatory minimum safety baseline for conducting safe operations in the NAS. In this context, a proof-of-concept study, which applies the proposed framework to Federal Aviation Regulations, is presented to demonstrate the feasibility of the methodology at a systems-level.
