计算机网络教学已经普及,现有的虚拟教室软件由于价格昂贵以及网络监控功能较弱等特点并不适合一般学校使用。针对这些问题,设计了一个基于UDP网络通信协议的多功能网络监控和辅助教学系统方案。此方案由控制台系统和工作站系统组成,在功能上兼顾网络监控和辅助教学,具备自动监控和控制计算机教学网络的功能;根据系统的特点,设计了基于UDP的控制台与工作站之间的数据通信协议。最后给出了此系统实现的主要软件流程图以及对系统的最终实现方式。  相似文献

We analyze the worst-case ratio of natural variations of the so-called subset sum heuristic for the bin packing problem, which proceeds by filling one bin at a time, each as much as possible. Namely, we consider the variation in which the largest remaining item is packed in the current bin, and then the remaining capacity is filled as much as possible, as well as the variation in which all items larger than half the capacity are first packed in separate bins, and then the remaining capacity is filled as much as possible. For both variants, we show a nontrivial upper bound of 13/9 on the worst-case ratio, also discussing lower bounds on this ratio.  相似文献

There have been constant research efforts towards the development of new and thermally stable resins, containing properties to outdoor usage, such as high quality of adhesion, as well as resistance to water and acid, amongst others. In this computational study, the spectroscopic properties were calculated, also the intramolecular electronic communication, susceptibility, as well as conformational changes in two monomers of potential resins, namely Albiziabenth oil polyetheramide (ABOPEtA) and urethanated Albiziabenth oil polyetheramide (UABOPEtA), as well as their precursor, namely hydroxylethyl albiziabenth oil amide (HEABOA). Many of these computed properties clearly show that the urethane linkage group in UABOPEtA acts as a strong electron withdrawing group, consequently causing the rest of the molecule to be more nucleophilic. This leads to an increase in the stability of UABOPEtA, as compared the rest of the molecules, as evidenced by an increase in the intramolecular energy of interaction, as well as negative values of the polarizability exaltation index (Γ). Further UABOPEtA is also associated with higher non-linear optical properties, in terms of the hyperpolarizabilities (β) and increased aromaticity, than for molecules ABOPEtA and HEABOA. The conformational folding of molecule UABOPEtA is characterized by larger values of the bisphenol-A linkage bond angle C⋯C⋯C, contrary to the angle observed in molecule ABOPEtA. This is a direct effect of hiding the urethane unit in the cleft of the folded UABOPEtA, which clearly leads to an increase in the hydrophobicity of UABOPEtA.  相似文献

The Asia-Pacific region spans the Asian and Australasian continents as well as the Pacific-rim countries. As such, the seeds of bioinformatics in this region have been sown as early as 1989 in India, followed by Japan and Australia in 1991. While bioinformatics research, service, and education have reached laudable heights in these countries as well as in Singapore, Taiwan, Korea, Malaysia, New Zealand and Russia, several other countries (Thailand, Indonesia, and the Philippines to name three) are making considerable progress. Real-time active database systems (RTADB) have attracted the attention of researchers in recent times. Such systems are envisioned as control systems for environments as diverse as process control, network management and automated financial trading. Sensors distributed throughout the system report the state of the system to the database. Unacceptable state reports typically results in corrective actions being triggered with deadlines. Thus RTADB's incorporate both real-time as well as active characteristics. We study buffer management in RTADB. Buffer management is recognized as not being a well studied area in real-time systems. As a result of our work, we postulate PAPER, a new buffer management scheme that relies on two strategies: prefetching and priority based buffer replacement. We report the result of studies of the performance of PAPER, as compared to that of existing buffer management algorithms. The insights derived from this paper impact both real-time database systems as well as real-time, active database systems  相似文献

We apply the Self-Organizing-Map-algorithm (SOM) as a central processing step in a new scheme for the characterisation of movement patterns of athletes. Due to its non-linear dimension reduction capabilities, the SOM outperforms a direct processing of the data as well as preprocessing using principal component analysis. Our results open the way to an objective assessment of movement patterns, with possible applications in the sport sciences as well as in medicine.  相似文献
