The recently proposed saturated adaptive robust controller is integrated with desired trajectory compensation to achieve global stability with much improved tracking performance. The algorithm is tested on a linear motor drive system which has limited control effort and is subject to parametric uncertainties, unmodeled nonlinearities, and external disturbances. Global stability is achieved by employing back-stepping design with bounded (virtual) control input in each step. A guaranteed transient performance and final tracking accuracy is achieved by incorporating the well-developed adaptive robust controller with effective parameter identifier. Signal noise that affects the adaptation function is alleviated by replacing the noisy velocity signal with the cleaner position feedback. Furthermore, asymptotic output tracking can be achieved when only parametric uncertainties are present.  相似文献

A performance oriented two-loop control approach is proposed for a class of multiple-input–multiple-output (MIMO) systems with input saturation, state constraints, matched parametric uncertainties and input disturbances. In the inner loop, a constrained adaptive robust control (ARC) law is synthesized to achieve the required robust tracking performances with respect to on-line replanned trajectory in the presence of input saturation and various types of matched uncertainties. In the outer loop, a replanned trajectory is generated by solving a constrained optimization algorithm online to minimize the converging time of the overall system response to the desired trajectory while not violating various constraints. Interaction of the two loops is explicitly characterized by a set of inequalities that the design variables of each loop have to satisfy. It is theoretically shown that the resulting closed-loop system can track feasible desired trajectories with a guaranteed converging time and steady-state tracking accuracy without violating the state constraints. Since the system in study is most appropriate to describe the dynamics of the robotic systems, the control of a two-axis planar robotic manipulator is used as an application example. Comparative simulation results demonstrate the advantage of the proposed approach over the traditional approaches in practical applications.  相似文献

In the presence of uncertain constraint and robot model, an adaptive controller with robust motion/force tracking performance for constrained robot manipulators is proposed. First, robust motion and force tracking is considered, where a performance criterion containing disturbance and estimated parameter attenuations is presented. Then the proposed controller utilizes an adaptive scheme and an auxiliary control law to deal with the uncertain environmental constraint, disturbances, and robotic modeling uncertainties. After solving a simple linear matrix inequality for gain conditions, the effect from disturbance and estimated parameter errors to motion/force errors is attenuated to an arbitrary prescribed level. Moreover, if the disturbance and estimated parameter errors are square-integrable, then an asymptotic motion tracking is achieved while the force error is as small as the inversion of control gain. Finally, numerical simulation results for a constrained planar robot illustrate the expected performance.  相似文献

A fast nonlinear control method for linear systems with input saturation   总被引:1,自引:0,他引:1
We present a novel, fast saturating nonlinear feedback law for single input systems with linear dynamics and input saturation. It is fast in the sense that it yields a better performance than a saturating linear control law. The control law is based on implicit soft variable-structure control. A convex optimization procedure for the controller synthesis based on linear matrix inequalities (LMIs) is derived at the price of some conservatism. As an example, we consider the control of a submarine.  相似文献

A stabilizing control method, which does not require on-line optimizations, is developed for linear systems with polytopic model uncertainties and hard input constraints. This work is motivated by the constrained robust MPC (CRMPC) approach (IEEE Trans. Automat. Control 45 (2000a) 1765) which adopts the dual mode prediction strategy (i.e. free control moves and invariant set) and minimizes a worst case performance criterion. Based on the observation that, a feasible control sequence for a particular state can be found as a linear combination of feasible sequences for other states, we suggest a stabilizing control algorithm providing sub-optimal and feasible control sequences using pre-computed optimal sequences for some canonical states. The on-line computation of the proposed method reduces to simple matrix multiplication.  相似文献

Error feedback control (in the presence of input constraints) is considered for a class of exothermic chemical reactor models. The primary control objective is regulation of a setpoint temperature T* with prescribed accuracy: given λ>0 (arbitrarily small), ensure that, for every admissible system and reference setpoint, the regulation error e=TT* is ultimately smaller than λ (that is, ||e(t)||<λ for all t sufficiently large). The second objective is guaranteed transient performance: the evolution of the regulation error should be contained in a prescribed performance funnel F around the setpoint temperature T*. A simple error feedback control with input constraints of the form , u* an offset, is introduced which achieves the objective in the presence of disturbances corrupting the measurement. The gain k(t) is a function of the error e(t)=T(t)−T* and its distance to the funnel boundary. The input constraints have to satisfy certain feasibility assumptions in terms of the model data and the operating point T*.  相似文献

We investigate motion synchronization of dual-cylinder pneumatic servo systems and develop an adaptive robust synchronization controller. The proposed controller incorporates the cross-coupling technology into the integrated direct/indirect adaptive robust control (DIARC) architecture by feeding back the coupled position errors, which are formed by the trajectory tracking errors of two cylinders and the synchronization error between them. The controller employs an online recursive least squares estimation algorithm to obtain accurate estimates of model parameters for reducing the extent of parametric uncertainties, and uses a robust control law to attenuate the effects of parameter estimation errors, unmodeled dynamics, and disturbances. Therefore, asymptotic convergence to zero of both trajectory tracking and synchronization errors can be guaranteed. Experimental results verify the effectiveness of the proposed controller.  相似文献

Modifying a command or actuation signal by convolving it with a sequence of impulses is a useful technique for eliminating structural vibration in rest-to-rest motion of mechanical systems. This paper describes an adaptive discrete-time version of this approach where amplitude and timing of impulses are tuned during operation to match the system under control. Solutions giving zero residual vibration are formulated in terms of a quadratic cost function and constructed by iterative operations on measured sets of input–output data. The versatility of the approach is demonstrated by simulated test cases involving (1) amplitude optimization of impulses with fixed timings, (2) timing optimization of impulses with fixed amplitudes and (3) combined timing and amplitude optimization. The approach is model-free and directly applicable to multi-mode systems. Moreover, fast adaptation within a single rest-to-rest maneuver can be achieved.  相似文献

This paper introduces the concept of optimized robust control invariance for discrete-time linear time-invariant systems subject to additive and bounded state disturbances. A novel characterization of two families of robust control invariant sets is given. The existence of a constraint admissible member of these families can be checked by solving a single and tractable convex programming problem in the generic linear-convex case and a standard linear/quadratic program when the constraints are polyhedral or polytopic. The solution of the same optimization problem yields the corresponding feedback control law that is, in general, set-valued. A procedure for selection of a point-valued, nonlinear control law is provided.  相似文献

Robust adaptive tracking control of robotic systems with uncertainties   总被引:1,自引:1,他引:0
To deal with the uncertainty factors of robotic systems, a robust adaptive tracking controller is proposed. The knowledge of the uncertainty factors is assumed to be unidentified; the proposed controller can guarantee robustness to parametric and dynamics uncertainties and can also reject any bounded, immeasurable disturbances entering the system. The stability of the proposed controller is proven by the Lyapunov method. The proposed controller can easily be implemented and the stability of the closed system can be ensured; the tracking error and adaptation parameter error are uniformly ultimately bounded (UUB). Finally, some simulation examples are utilized to illustrate the control performance.  相似文献
